  1. Tao AS you can read it is clear I’m a supporter of Taoism and in that philosophy which can be seen as a science translated in a technique, the follower is invited to adopt the non action principle. Quoting Lao Tzu, there is nothing that cant be done by non action . This seems paradoxical when non action is understood as immobility but becomes clear when the non action technique is to adapt to the flowing Tao, using the energy as a carrier in the direction it follows. Derived from this are the defensive martial arts using the aggressor energy and redirect it to submit him. This has to be performed in favorable time and location, as the saying everything arrives in time for who can wait. Our modern uncultured population mistakes the benefits this ancient science can bring, hoping for money and superfluous gadgets instead of the true wealth that is health of both body and mind along with an equilibrate natural environment. There are no separations in this universe beside those induced by the mental which are illusions entertained by our desires. The hope for something should not veil reality as it does in this end of era. As it was and is said by many, we are out centered as we project ourselves in the future or the past not aware of here and now. There is nobody else than yourself all the rest are reflections of the self in parallel universes that are also reflections of a single one. As above as below. I am you as you are me as we are all together. The knowledge comes to whom opens truly to it, he who puts aside his artificial conditioning. True justice exists without need to teach it, it is naturally present and righteous people are those who possess inner harmony. Be just with yourself and the outside world will change accordingly. Who abuses his own body cannot expect outside influences to be nice to him, for this apparently outside aspect is the inner projection. Don’t think this happens overnight, as long you abused yourself, as long it will take to change around you. I’ve been in the non action for a few years, letting events flow and navigating in the direction the current followed. I can say it really works, opposed to the aggressive action proposed by occidental point of view, the entrepreneurial way the way of the warrior. Like I said previously it shouldn’t be understood as a passive and lazy way which can lead to stagnation, another extreme and dangerous position, it is instead the middle way those in t Centerland adopt and practice. This topic is based on the archetypal phrase of oriental philosophy, as large the face as large the back. Many explanations are derived from it , all human sectors of activity can be related to this basic key summarized in the symbolic Tai Ki, the yin yang figure. As large suggests the increasing amplitude of what is called the transformations in the I Ching, the book of changes. The face and the back are the opposites that become as they travel farther away, antagonistic. When one is named it is because it becomes stranger to his true nature, that it starts crystallizing in a rigid and unchangeable state. Beauty, love, justice, are true when they exist without any need to be recognized, they are and that is enough. As soon the need to name and teach those happens is the sign of degeneration. The actual form of justice, like beauty and love, are as the yang in the extreme, transforming in its opposite the extreme yin where they become injustice, ugliness and hate. This is how appearance can deceive the unconscious, he see’s a beautiful person not sensing it has infected and putrid entrails. Beauty and health are the same, as ugly and sickness are.
  2. The source of injustice My thought about injustice goes way back in the past where man started to use agriculture and breeding techniques to ameliorate his condition. As we know, from then, man expanded his number to the overpopulation of the modern humanity, and with the wealth his high technology brought to his kind, he exaggerated his consumption to the level we now witness. Why is it linked to present injustice ? Because we started to significantly act on nature by depriving other species to increase our own and by doing it de balanced ecosystems that are passed the point of no return. The same process occurred inside our bodies, our organs degeneration is in many case irreversible. This organic mutation in the bodies of modern man translate in the increasing of chronic diseases plaguing the urbanized populations around the world. We are responsible, from many generations ago, of what is now out of control. and our justice is k appealing. based today on the extreme position we stand on, therefore amplifying the injustice for others. As Lao Tseu suggest, when justice is named and imposed it is in fact injustice disguised to look appealing.
  3. We now have learned with science, that the difference between man and the so called animals are not as evident we thought previously. Those animated als are capable of reasoned choices and are not only instinctual as you say. It would be wise to include man as an animal like all other creatures and stop to place him on a throne. This infatuated man is blinded by his high position is sick from the superman syndrome. Morality is a man made principle absent in nature and therefore unfit to solve any problems humankind encounters with other beings. The artificial manmade solutions are always a temporary patch on a leaking barrage unable to contain the flow it tries to stop. The only thing it does is to amplify the suffering for living creatures. What I say about humans being destructive is not only that it is bad for nature, I say it is bad for man not to consider nature and other living creatures as essential for his own equilibrium which includes his health Taoist philosophy, from which are taken the few phrases I used previously, speaks of the unconscious man as responsible for his own suffering. Community in the clan is that self centered man with a narrow view of things, digging his own grave with tailor made moral suit to content his pride but unfit for reality. This assertion is clearly sustained by the actual failure of modernity based on techno science and propaganda.
  4. Lets not put any species at all on top. Lets instead look at the genesis of rights, and reasoning behind moral principles, from which we derive rights, to start with. When we discuss about animals, the word we use to designate non human creatures is non inclusive and it is as if they where just animated objects. Therefore to be inclusive we should use the word beings which includes all living creatures. The language we use is a reflection of what we are. By changing our words we might begin to be more conscious about the importance of those other creatures, and maybe stop acting in a destructive manner. The other important change is done by stepping down to the lower level of inferiority after the forced position of superiority we imposed on other beings for so long. Doing this voluntarily keeps time and events to force us to adopt it in a more violent and suffering manner. It is said, joyous retreat bears fortune, for those who choose by themselves to lower their position and share their surplus. It doesn’t mean acting with living creatures the way we acted with humans, it means giving them the opportunity to live accordingly to their true nature in their dedicated environment. When I mention destructive manners, it is usually related to another oriental parable who states : Community in the clan, misfortune. The exaggeration of our modern ways of consuming and living is clearly destructive and unsustainable. It can only be maintained at the expense of nature, the slavery and misery of a majority of living creatures to which we negate the rights to their basic needs so we can perpetuate our consuming of superfluities.
  5. You need to provide some reasoning to back up your case before you can reasonably expect anyone to give it serious consideration. You need to explain why you believe that morality and rights come from fruit, rather than apples. I’m trying to say that our analysis is wrong from the beginning when we look at it downstream instead of upstream at the source. Who is putting mankind ahead and on top of other creatures ? Man.. That is an assertion based on the premise he thinks he’s superior. Instead, lets place other living species at the upper place and man below. This could bring a different view considering the superiority of the other living creatures is reflected by the fact they don’t destroy or pollute their environment like humankind does., which is not a sign of intelligence.
  6. Yes , war is natural Our imune system is the individual war some of our cells fight against unknown intruders and.it is only normal that it has a macro reflection in the form of territorial protection..
  7. I do not consent and I waive the benefits This sentence has great implication when a non anthropocentric vision is applied. We as humans have neglected the other living species in our analysis of the situation. We take for granted the fact that we act on nature and non human creatures the exact and same way we condemn our leaders doing so. Those creatures are slaves which lives are confined and repressed so we humans can benefit from privileges far from normal. The same attention should therefore be applied in their direction as the one consented for human beings. I waive the benefit is then extended to the privileges human beings got since they adopted modern technology for their own development in contradiction with the basic needs of living creatures, regardless of gender and species. The first step toward liberation from enslavement is to abandon dependancies from the modern world, the one who claims loud words like freedom and democracy but acts in a completely opposite way. So are those who speak of freedom not including all lives as part of life.
  8. Death This idea of the presence of death during life is part of the fractal vision way of seeing existence. Existence is therefore the sum of both life and death the same way wake and sleep is part of life. In nature this is seen in the seasons and the opposite summer and winter with their transitional spring and fall, but also in the 24 hour day where clarity and darkness are bringing their specific conditions of cold and warmness. When looked in the microcosmic direction, the heart beat is life and death it brings in the veins, life that is distributed and when retracting caries death to the be expurgated by the organs. Same mechanism occurs with respiration life and death is in a cyclic movement where one or the other is ruling.
  9. Thank you Pepin for your comment I'm am not english and my writting is probably lacking some important elements. Same with philosophy, I'm not aa scholar. What is presented here is the fractal view on the subject and it seemed to me it's not considered as it should be.
  10. some hierarchies will always exist but they can be largely meritocratic rather than based on force This argument seems to me lacking perspective because force is probably not considered as a sign of intelligence but as an animal primitive sense. Meritocratic is the way value is considered today in our modern world.
  11. I want to bring my point to this very important subject, please be comprehensive for my lack of knowledge in philisophy Life and death An important point for the philosophical debate is the thought life is ending at death because conscience seem absent in the deceased corpse. This is, in part, because we consider valid one type of conscience as being life regardless of the microbial activity continuing in the dead body. Bacteria are participating to the life of our bodies in a very important level and we still draw a line between our self and them. For many they are strangers, separated from our self. IT is scientifically admitted that mithocondries in the cells are creatures that first appeared as individuals who infected the primitive cell as a parasite. This transformed in certain cases to a symbiotic relation that lead, trough evolution, to superior animals such as humans. Some say those who continued the parasitic mode became the carnivore while the others, the symbiotic, the herbivore. They both are included in our bodies and have the same roles they have in nature. The immune system, the white cells (the warriors), and the nurturing red cells (the mothers). Human societies can be seen as an entity, a social living creature whose cells are the citizen and organs the different trades. The cultural specificity is the social conscience. When we look at nature and the roles the different living creatures adopt we recognize there the same living creature, but in a more primitive form, the indigenous. The organization of primitive societies is a reflection of the original human body before he became civilized. For what is left of the original human seed can be qualified heirloom and for the other hybrid type, the civilized and conditioned human, we can see it can only exist inside exceptional conditions. All levels are inter related, what is done in the base reflects on the summit. Existence includes life and death as life includes wake and sleep. This fractal view of life can be reduced or augmented to recognize in all levels the invariance.
  12. Hello I'm a new participant This debate over the domination of the alpha male over the submissive majority should be seen in the natural point of view where the dominant has his chores to accomplish and that his position is not more favorable than the other members of the group. It is in the artificial and unsustainable system that it seems to be a privileged position and that it is in fact a doomed one. The cast of king and nobles of the past where usually sick and suffering from their abuses, they where degenerate humans. Same for the rich of our modern era, they are perpetuating their false teachings to their descendants and like a curse is plaguing them for generations. Bringing this to the individual and his body, we understand that by granting and perpetuating a favor to one sense and neglect others will blunt it while exciting the others . The resulting disequilibrium sometimes results in chronic disease.
