  1. No doubt. I realize that it can go very badly, if done in the wrong way. Thanks for the recommendations
  2. Hello FDR world! I started to listen to Stef's podcasts a few months ago and I'm rapidly working my way to the present. I'm currently on #919, though I have also listened to a considerable number of more recent ones. At 50 yrs old now, I've evolved in my political views over the decades, but I always found myself not fitting into either side of the long entrenched left/right dichotomy. And so I had a lot of the typical confusion and cognitive dissonance that goes with that, but I wasn't able to break through. I was caught up in thinking that govt was necessary, and that even it I was only able to vote between the lesser of two evils that there really wasn't a choice; "that's the way the world is", and all that. Unfortunately it took me way to long to "discover" libertarianism. I'm afraid that I was not taught to think critically and therefore was too susceptible to the mainstream influences. Only in the last 5 years or so have I really broken out of that paradigm, expanded my mind and improved my critical thinking skills. And the final step of really understanding reasoning from first principles and holding rational and consistent views of the world came when I listened to Stef's podcasts. The scales truly fell from my eyes and I moved from minarchist libertarian to anarcho-capitalist. Thanks Stef! One question I have for the board is: Is there an introductory series of podcasts that is recommended for bringing others "to the light"? I know there's the intro to philosophy series, but I'm looking for something that's not so "technical" and allows for a "gentle" intro to somebody who is still stuck in the statist paradigm. I've thought about selecting a number of the podcasts to comprise such an intro series, but thought I'd ask in case it exists already, or even better if Stef had produced just such a series for this specific purpose. And if he hasn't it sure would be a great addition to his body of work, in my opinion, and make it much easier to steer people to the rational path. Does that make sense? Because even just starting at podcast zero is a bit jarring for somebody who isn't already a libertarian, it seems to me. Thanks in advance, and I look forward to interacting with you all here.
