  1. Best answer imo. In my case, after I got married, got a job, my daily routines got a bit repetitive and that influences the sense of time "flying" by.
  2. You were just doing your job, the only thing he should have done differently is ask you politely that he doesn't want the thing inside. (no pun) My wife does not care for advertisements in our mailbox so we bought a little sticker that says "We do not accept advertisements in our mailbox, thank you" and pasted it on the front side of the box. We get a significant less amount of ads since then. I on the other hand like an occasional ad or two now and then. Sometimes I get reminded about things or services I need.
  3. Sounds a bit like the setting in Ikigami. There's a manga and a live action adaptation (haven't seen it, but they are usually bad). If you like Psycho pass I think you'll find this one interesting as well, and I'm pretty sure I'll give this one a chance in the near future. Peace
  4. I loved episode 1! I came across the game while browsing new games on my XBOX360 and was immediately charmed into playing. I never actually played games of this type, only a few point and click adventures for PC like Myst and Broken Sword but this one's a genre of it's own. Can't wait for episode 2, maybe I'll go for it this weekend.
  5. I scored 126 via iqtest.com I guess it's above average according to Wikipedia and slightly below "gifted". My excuse is I've done this at work and was slightly distracted by a few phone calls.
  6. Thanks Matthew and Anuojat! @Anuojat Thanks for brining that up, I'm already learning something - what a great point. Also, can one be overly critical? I mean, can absence of true rationality and reasonable judgement be justified in order to not hurt someone's feelings?
  7. Thanks Kevin. About my view on philosophy. I didn't actually have any opinion about it because I found it mostly vague and not worthy of my time, something too abstract and not quite useful? But as it turned out, I've spent most of my late teens+ years questioning everything around me (like laws and social rules) and dwelling in the realm of philosophy without even knowing it I suppose. Good to be here.
  8. That's just my way of making contact with new groups. A gentle wave, raised eyebrows and an almost whisper-like "hi". So, hi. My name's Ivan and maybe a year ago a friend of mine recommended Stephan's YouTube channel. I watched a few videos with interesting titles and became immediately drawn into this very realistic philosophy which until then was a very abstract subject to me. I subscribed and followed further videos more or less frequently and I think learned quite a few new points of view on various topics which were controversial to say the least. I'm not quite sure whether I'll be a regular poster here but I felt like stepping out, maybe meet new interesting like-minded people or just for the fun of it. I'll see you around, peace.
