Well okay then lets be fair, given the the Brit population is roughly twice that of us, you guys should be letting in at least 1 million more this year, the Yanks are 10 times our size. Ya might want to read/watch Schoolyard Scandal... hopefully this link works seems they don't like external links. http://www.therebel.media/schoolyard_scandal?utm_campaign=schoolyard_scan&utm_medium=email&utm_source=therebel

I watched the 3 debates, there is no hope. NOT ONE OF THEM WOULD TALK ABOUT THE DEBT. What happened to the debt ceiling? This election is rigged is absolutely correct, Mr Trump. Beyond shameful. To be clear I do not want to single out the Americans. Canada will take in 500,000 refugees, yes that is not a misprint. Just last week on the CBC the immigration minister said the government was unprepared and surprised with the amount of children coming over, swamping the education system but still they will continue.

The fellow who was passing out leaflets (a fundamentalist) about whores and referencing the bible was convicted by the Supreme Court of Canada. Even if truthful, if it's hurtful, it's hateful. The gate has been opened wide by the social Marxists. Much more to come flags or not. Never let an opportunity go to waste.

As a Canadian, I've always thought that I should be keeping my nose out of other people's elections. But this is much more than one election, this is about our civilization's survival. Yes iron horse you are correct about the Brits, I would also add the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, publicly paid for, mouth piece of the culturally marxist left. How many were censored in our election by a firm hired from down your way? The thumbs up votes and original post removed if one got past the gate as to what people really thought. One of their posts inserted as the most popular as the most liked during our election. UN former worldwildlife fund Prime Minister Butts now runs the show not Trudeau. Still this first post on this page election or erection? The mainstream media lying by omission, the quid pro quo for the FBI...etc.. Everything is being flushed down the toilet as long as they win? Why? what do they know that we don't? What is the agenda of the globalists after the economic crash? Try fitting no more than 500 million souls in a sustainable earth into that slot.

Know that good will prevail. We are hardwired for it even our lowly dogs are. God is Just... not good/bad/indifferent but just. The universal rules are the universal rules. Takes Him a long time to move/get angry but when He does many people will die. We all know the rules, the most important one is to love your neighbour as yourself. What goes around comes around in the dispensing of justice. My proof? look at history. This election? Although not American I used to believe that America was the beacon of democracy, an example that all countries and people's could aspire to. We are shown now how rotten and corrupt it was/is.

Thanks, thought I was just getting more senile. (blamed clicking without logging in first, then different country as second choice)

I am extremely dismayed that this question doesn't come up anywhere else. Given Stephan's youtubes, podcasts, other media of thousands of articles in opposition to the deep state. Given that (on a very slight chance) okay Hillary is out, Trump is in... will it matter to the deep state in the grand plan of theirs? How many hundreds of thousands of treasonous others are there who are directly involved in the USA and outside of it ? Where are articles on the puppet master Soros heading the globalism along with the UN (diversity is our strength)? Yes Hillary and Bill are heavy rooks, but the Clinton Foundation is Global. I suggest we all start studying Esperanto.

-15 c here this morning , warms up to around zero in the early afternoon Very true, but the premiums go both ways. You sell the gold back to the outfit you bought from costs you roughly $70.00, same as what you paid for it when you bought it. So they make $140.00 on each completed transaction. What about the cost of extraction ? If you were to shovel a cubic yard of salt, very small grained, very full, heaping shovel fulls would require some 250 of these. Coarser materials(gravel) 300 plus. In the old days a good man was required to shovel 6 yards per day. When they moved to machinery, even the largest dredges needed $3.00 per yard to break even, 100 years ago. This figure hasn't changed nowadays, depending on your size of shovel and values in the ground. question: what did $3.00 of labour/costs buy 100 years ago compared to what $3.00 will buy today? Why is deflation such a bad thing for a country's citizens whatever the product?

Well sorry, I suggest you start by googling some articles on Gold Manipulation. An Insider's take on the Gold Manipulation case | kitco news but there are dozens of links out there. Then some links on official inflation figures verses shadow stats then well talk.

For what reason did gold drop? People believe that the Fed will raise interest rates? Really? Highly doubtful that.(They've been promising that forever) Gold drops and the dollar goes up, gold goes up the dollar drops. What is it Trump hasn't a chance in hell of winning? The election has already been decided, the globalists have won? The dollar remains the reserve currency. Everything is now rosy? Must be true, they don't even talk about the debt ceiling anymore
-
Well, I don't know... they had to rescue the bullion bank short positions, who also act as agents for the Fed. Reserve and other central banks. Just putting off the inevitable for a while longer.

A staggering 1000 tons of paper gold rinsed out of the market yesterday Oct.4. What does it matter who wins the debates or which vice presidential candidate did the most interrupting in the latest episode of bread and circus?

This may help ! No one remains static forever. "Stages of Spiritual Growth" by M Scott Peck MD please note atheists and agnostics are stage 3 STAGE III: Skeptic, Individual, questioner, including atheists, agnostics and those scientifically minded who demand a measurable, well researched and logical explanation. Although frequently "nonbelievers," people in Stage III are generally more spiritually developed than many content to remain in Stage II. Although individualistic, they are not the least bit antisocial. To the contrary, they are often deeply involved in and committed to social causes. They make up their own minds about things and are no more likely to believe everything they read in the papers than to believe it is necessary for someone to acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior (as opposed to Buddha or Mao or Socrates) in order to be saved. They make loving, intensely dedicated parents. As skeptics they are often scientists, and as such they are again highly submitted to principle. Indeed, what we call the scientific method is a collection of conventions and procedures that have been designed to combat our extraordinary capacity to deceive ourselves in the interest of submission to something higher than our own immediate emotional or intellectual comfort--namely truth. Advanced Stage III men and women are active truth seekers. Despite being scientifically minded, in many cases even atheists, they are on a higher spiritual level than Stage II, being a required stage of growth to enter into Stage IV. The churches age old dilemma: how to bring people from Stage II to Stage IV, without allowing them to enter Stage III. For reading on the other stages and expansion of concepts http://factnet.org/stages-spiritual-growth-m-scott-peck-abridged-richard-schwartz Just one further thought about Truth. The genuine Satanists know about the one sin which God cannot forgive and that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. (even murder can be forgiven)

Argument against the idea that philosophers should focus on universals
sweathog1 replied to elzoog's topic in Philosophy
Although this may seem a paradox, all exact science is dominated by the idea of approximation. When a man tells you that he knows the exact truth about anything, you are safe in inferring that he is an inexact man. Bertrand Russell In the Upanishads we read, “Through sitting still, I travel far.” Jesus, Lao Tzu and Buddha had similar phrases as they instructed us in one form or another that we conquer by yielding, gain strength through weakness, are exalted by being humble, are made free by becoming a servant, and only lose that which we cling to. Might be a step to far down the road towards insanity but perhaps getting rid of the ego gets rid of illusory dichotomies -

We live in a world of paradox is that universal/microcosmic/microscopic enough?. Want to see God look for truths which are paradoxal. Ya might want to read up on some of Chesterton's stuff Truth and Paradox or some of Scott Peck musings of paradox -

I'm an old guy, have nothing to prove, talk to my grandson about Cornelius, the big Pike we've been always trying to catch, sometimes he says he had him on, but to no avail.. These old bones, the constant pain. Should have accepted the calling when it was given imo. instead raised a brood. Sorry for my interruption of academia. Yes why would a god talk to some dumb soldier recruit?

Read some St. John of the Cross ~Dark Night of the Soul or Teresa of Avila to understand the absolute ecstasy, But you are correct it does come down to perceptions of feelings.

Sadly I do not know for sure. The words and language fall short. Perhaps I should have used the words "all encompassing senses firing at the same time" along with what I previously wrote, pure love, pure well being, pure peace of such intensity, even the colors inside the church were brighter. I would say 100 times better than sex if it could be put into words.

A true story. Way back in the late sixties, I joined the army. Along with about 249 other recruits we were marched up to a barber shop for haircuts. It was an extremely hot day standing in line on black asphalt, waiting for your turn and my last name being very close to the end of the alphabet knew it would be a long wait even if they had two or three barbers doing the chopping. Then a strange thing happened, the drill sergeant not out of kindness but out of nco duty barked, "Any of you wimps or candy asses want to go to those two churches across the street feel free to do so take one step forward and march off ." (They are taught they must think of their men's well being first if possible) Well seeing as how I was second to last I stepped out, along with another fellow further up the line, midway up the alphabet. Yes only two of us. A lot of verbal abuse followed us to the two churches, I didn't give a damn, I was not religious in any form...just wanted out of the sun. Inside the church God came to me, pure love, pure well being, pure peace of such intensity, even the colors inside the church were brighter. I would say 100 times better than sex if it could be put into words. One experience, and never again repeated, a friend finished her masters in theology, read all the books she had, still no positive results after that, good works, going to church, etc. I know God exists but do not understand him/her/it. I consider myself an agnostic. For years wrote the experience off as heatstroke. Last two posts are feelings real and do you see them?

a cat plays with a mouse before killing it.(is it torture or play?) Saw the strangest behaviour the other day, young cat was playing with with a mouse for the longest time, momma cat finally had enough, gave the young one a good swat, promptly sat down, killed the mouse then ate it. Had a room mate who was an active Satanist while in the army, 2 or 3 in the morning, he'd be mumbling this gibberish over a inverted pentagram. Used to tell him to shut up, after waking me, all sorts of spells, ash of some creature he had tortured, bits of corn, etc. Was very proud of a book he had of the exploits he had done, course there was no writing in it, used to laugh about that, just numbered pages. My humble opinion, in short pure god power trips for them. In terms of rational, I'd say ya, we used to have these double blackboards on 4 walls, where the professor would write out these electronic maths problems, sometimes using all the boards. This guy would figure the answers in his head.

Donald Trump on terrorists: 'Take out their families'
sweathog1 replied to Alan C.'s topic in Current Events
Well, sounds like we is on first, who's we is on second and someting wong is on third. I agree Trump is referring to we as a nation, after all he's trying to become leader of that nation and as the leader of that nation also becomes the leader of the west. The west includes you,I ,Shirgall, and the blueblood upperclass on both sides of the pond. No? I am uncertain that non-aggression is possible for any government, you as a citizen are taxed at a point of a gun as all conflicts at their root are land claims? You don't pay your taxes they will reclaim their land through their power. -

Residing on Earth, I suggest you look up the definitions of we in the dictionary. I was responding to shirgall's usage, shall we, you and I agree first to a definition of mind and collective? Shall we agree first to a definition of shared beliefs, ideas, moral attitudes? That is the definition of collective Yes? Is science not a collective? What is the Bill of Rights if not a social collective agreement, I refuse to touch on the god portion. So many questions -

Been trying to find a link, read yesterday or the day before, about some ISIS guy executing his own mother for speaking peace. I believe they don't care about their own families and will be doing more of it, to their own.. Also read somewhere that in one of the 3 Brit/Afghan wars, some young fellow standing guard was captured, the next day he was found skinned alive. The Brits. promptly tied up the next Afghan combatant they caught in the middle of their camp. Everyone had orders to kick the prisoner in the testicles whenever someone passed by this person on daily tasks in that camp. The atrocities stopped after that. This is a different fanatical animal nowadays. Tit for tat the troopers and allies understand. We do it to their innocent families we've lost our high ground.
