  1. The podcasts typically are introduced with a brief overview of what's discussed on the show. Pretty helpful.
  2. Didn't Trump say illegal immigration is a problem? Sounds correct to me.
  3. Your friend is a fan of violence. Beat him silly until he complies.
  4. San Antonio here as well. It's good to know there's another in town with my interests.
  5. Sounds like you're not being challenged enough. Go study to be a physician.
  6. Do either candidate appeal to the middle? Isn't that going to be the deciding factor? What could a Sanders supporter hear from Trump that would change their mind? What could a Trump supporter hear from Sanders that would change their mind?
  7. He asks, "Where in the world is it easiest to get rich?" Where could he have been born and become rich the easiest. His professor says that he needed to have been born in a society with free markets, low taxes and minimal government intervention. So, his measurement is based on the number of rich people per capita. His argument seems to be that government paid higher education makes it easier to get rich and lower paying jobs appear to have been eliminated through the use of technology. Beyond that, there's not much else presented. If he controlled for immigration into Denmark versus the United States, his results might not be as easy for him to conclude.
  8. Thank you. I will attempt to provide some thought-provoking information and see where that leads. Any suggestions?
  9. Thank you. I will definitely watch the series.
  10. I think there in lies the problem. He is not married and has no children. His house is about all he feels he sacrificed for. He fears nothing from Bernie Sanders. What should he fear?
  11. So, I'm looking for some support for this argument: Bernie Sanders supporters have never earned anything in their life worth protecting. I have a cousin who claims he supports Bernie Sanders even though he's been successful at saving enough money to buy a house. How do I test his support?
  12. I am so worn out responding to constant calls for gender diversity in tech. Help! https://www.pluralsight.com/blog/career/women-in-tech--what-women-want-
  13. I used to provide a business card that contained a list of charitable organizations in the area that the person could contact.
  14. Anything and everything.
  15. Wouldn't an overt threat against 300,000,000 be just as valid as a threat against 1? Wouldn't a threat against 1 require a meaningful response if such threat is carried out?Hasn't it been proven that the people making these threats and carrying out attacks can be identified? Is the ideology promoted under islam one that allows for acceptance of the NAP?
  16. My intention was to discuss whether or not the fear in both cases is rational or not, and whether or not there is some obligation to educate people about the irrationality of their feelings when compared to evidence.
  17. Some people is still people.
  18. I can't help but draw similarities between the plight of people who openly carry guns and transgender men who wish to use a woman's public restroom. Some people fear the person who openly carries a gun. Some people fear the person who is Transgender and uses a public restroom of an opposite gender. They are both feared because of the possibility that the person is going to do something to hurt someone. Is it incorrect to equate the two as having the same stereotype?
  19. I'm simple. Fairly direct. I like to observe. I fail a lot, but I'm used to it. I hope I can contribute something to the discussions that's of some value. Can't say much more than that.
  20. Government = State State owns the land. People rent the land. People = Government? People own the land? People pay themselves to rent the land they own?
