Love it. Just wish lefty Anarchists understood this like they do the abolition of the war on drugs. This is the only election I can think of that the system as a whole is fighting one person; sitting out on this one is completely stupid if you want less aggression. Not that Trump is a great on everything esp. protectionism, but Clinton is so bad it almost makes him look like Lysander Spooner in comparison.

Where to begin in the description that is the illusion of my early life and career? I will make it short and to the point. ACE score of 6 and neglected as a kid. Later in life (later teens) I ran to the closest institution that was ordered and had a purpose since I didn't find mine early in life which was the Army. "Society" had always stated that such a profession and life style was virtuous so I was hungry to be able to tell myself that I was as well that I joined went to boot camp "programmed" and was sent to Iraq on my 21st birthday. Saw a lot of horrible things and began my career in interrogation and source operations (no physical coercion aka torture). Met a lot of evil people which brings us to the point in my story where I met a particularly evil person who asked a question that still haunts me to this day. I went to the BDHA (Brigade Detainment and Holding area) and started to prep for my morning session with a detainee "we will call him Abbas". I sat down at my desk and reviewed some propaganda that his organization made "this was around 2008; if I remember right half way through the surge" I sat at my desk and watched a video of women and children being killed one by one with a AK-47 by Sunni terrorists. I still remember that video almost 8 years later but in no way as much as the conversation I was to have when I was done getting ready for the day ahead. I walked into the room where I would interrogate this person who allegedly "did" what I just witnessed. He walked in and sat down a MP behind him who left and we began to discuss his country. I have never believed in pure evil till that day, the look in his eyes was indescribable. I will only tell you one thing we discussed' about half way through he leaned over with almost pitch back stair and asked me what made me (or the U.S.) any different than him. He stated we both kill and lie for what we want. Of course at the time I scoffed and rationalized but it stuck with me like a terminal illness. I continued with my career with an extreme uneasiness that was only tempered by the fact I was decent at what I did. I did find weapons caches and possibly save some lives however we all know that doesn’t really mean much when the world is burning. I was sent back one more time but this point my uneasiness built to anger at the stupidity of the whole situation. There was about two months when I thought Obama might be a good thing for the situation “I laugh when I think about that now”. But I ran into Ron Paul and I began to think. I went from a center left Statist to AnCap in two years, everything clicked and I had four months left in the Army and I just swallowed a large red pill. Each day till I was out of the army I never look at what we did, or the people that I worked with the same. But now I don’t have to live in the shadow of early ignorance, I just get to build things and for the last three four years of my life I’m actually happy. And that’s the gist of the story. I could expand on each part ad infinitum but that’s no good for anyone. and living freer life hasn't affected me negatively quite the opposite. Thanks for the interest

Not all artists are lefty send in your work and let’s discuss. Since Art is the expression of aesthetics and aesthetics is near and dear to philosophy it’s necessary to share. (Please show respect and empathy to the posters it’s not easy showing work.) Thanks

The whole thing is blown up as if Michelle Obama created the entire English language or the common slogans politicians always stick in their speeches in one way or another. What she said was not a catch phrase and she is not the first person to say it. Its as lame as the Paris Hilton copyrighting the words "that's hot". Such a non issue i.e. (Lame Media B.S.) the media has made me cross eyed at this point.

Do Feminists Really Hate Masculinity?
AndrewV replied to Three's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
I never thought of it like that. Every feminist I have ran into is a normal woman who doesn't realize how bizarre that ideology has gotten and thinks its the more common sense view of "treat me with respect". Sometimes I have a hard time believing there are women that think I am cruel, sexist, and oppressive just cause I am male. Then I look at the media I want a world where rationality in gender relations takes center stage. -
What is wrong with main stream media. How can they think these behaviors are reasonable, regardless of their political views.

How do you know what you're passionate about?
AndrewV replied to Thus_Spake_the_Nightspirit's topic in Self Knowledge
Some people are just lucky enough to run across it early in life (childhood) other have to put for a concerted effort to figure it out after. And even so finding it early does not mean your environment will assist in development. I joined the army to get away from my family and later realized I drew and played with Legos cause I like Sculpture ,Architecture, Animation and Painting. I would do anything to get those five years back but alas no dice. I guess what i'm trying to say is if you don't look you wont find it and the main thing is i would have never found I love these things if I had millions of dollars. Money doesn't grant self knowledge and we all can be lazy and miss the mark. -
