Not going to argue about ideas in this thread, but would like to know more about how ancaps might transition to a stateless society. My questions are as follows: What is to be done with illegitimate property titles? Do they revert to non-ownership for homesteading, or do they continue on? How are illegitimate property titles divided if at all? If legitimate acquisitions are not expropriated, how would legitimacy be decided in a contemporary society on the brink of transition? Could general levelling be on the table? How is violent suppresion/resistance by conservative forces (state & it's beneficiaries) overcome? Do you consider resistance (violent or otherwise) by these bodies likely? If so, how would these power structures be overcome & dismantled? What specific sectors of society will likely be the motive force for change? Is there a set of intellectual or material preconditions for transition? Would transition be peaceful or might it entail a violent social revolution? Would a an-cap society utilize any transitional forms of organization before the conclusive implementation of pure laissez-faire organization? What is the likely outcome of a failed transition? Thanks.

"I care not who throws the spear truest or who culls the beast most efficiently for I declare this land around me my property and my relatives the sole heirs to all that I see and will kill those who challenge this fact. " first Sumerian king 4000 BC, “Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.” Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812), founder of the House of Rothschild. "It matters not who controls the money supply, so long as we have the access codes" NSA operative inter sectional memorandum 1982 No one can remember what triggered the global collapse, the Ebola that killed thousands, the Ukrainian crisis that ended with Russia victorious and the ultimate demise of NATO in the face of ultimate defeat with the threat not of nuclear holocaust but of cold homes due to a total shut off of natural gas to Western Europe. None could have predicated how fast the US dollar and euro would disappear, that the new world currency would be competing gold/silver/commodity backed cryptocurrencies. That the mega empires of the European Union and the United States would disappear. That with the collapse of these empires so gone were the media industrial complexes, the military industrial complexes, and the welfare state complexes. Without the bread and circuses provided by the trusted "mainstream Media" consisting of a constant barrage of cultural Marxist thought perpetuated by the trusted mediums of the day, television, movies, music, social media and large internet media providers along with "EBT" cards, subsidized housing, welfare checks, subsidized junk food (corn subsidies), long simmering racial/ethnic/religious tensions exploded. The police would be overwhelmed in a matter of weeks, the military was to busy trying to prevent the implosion of the empire to control the streets, chaos anarchy gained a foothold, genocide came back as it always does in times of crisis. syndicates based on religious racial divides naturally sprung from the destruction of the collapse. La RAza, black nationalist movements Mormons, fundamentalist Christians and white nationalist movements would take the place of the state just as the catholic church replaced the roman empire after its collapse in western Europe. The medium of exchange would drop to barter during the darkest days of the neo dark age that swept across the globe. Russia, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand,Scandinavian and the former soviet states would fare the best after the collapse due to their low populations relative to endemic natural resources, these states did not suffer the die offs the the rest of the overpopulated world did. These countries would be the preservation capsules of civilization as the rest of the world degenerated into chaos. During the rebirth of the new Renaissance the medium of exchange would rise at first it would be commodities of power, coal oil, grains clean water, then gold and silver would replace the commodities, after a sufficient amount of trust was granted amoungst the few trading partners left. Finally a new breed of techno goldsmiths would rise to become the new rulers of the world. These smiths would exchange gold/silver backed crypto currencies using anonymous clearing houses which will be necessary for the piracy of the time. The rise of these new cryptocurrencies would make way for cryptocracies or cryptocurrency backed syndicates like the British east India company of the past. These syndicates will begin to dominate the world and bring about a cybernetic technocratic cryptocracy which will bring about the singularity predicted by Ray kuzweil.

I wanted to offer up some hopefully constructive criticism of peaceful parenting in terms of bringing revolution about and to also offer up my strategy for revolution as an alternative. I do agree wholeheartedly with peaceful parenting and I think it is fantastic and something the world desperately needs, I am just arguing that at this point it may be too late for it to take down the state, and here is why: Gun control and demographics. Basically once they take American's guns, which I believe is likely to happen in the next 5-10 years(I know I can't prove it but there is a strong push), the last real and tangible resistance to global totalitarianism is gone. Then there are demographics, basically the freedom club is dying out. America is falling to Latino culture and Europe is falling to Islamic culture and if the trends continue there will be comparatively hardly any freedom club members left in the next hundred years. This isn't even considering the western democracies collapsing greece style under the weight of their debt and unfunded liabilities to the old. Also once the guns are gone from essentially every nation on earth, the creep of the state will accelerate and I doubt the free internet that we have today will still exist, making access to FDR and podcasts much more difficult. In my view, peaceful parenting has to outrun gun control and it has to either convert Muslims/Latinos or it has to convert much of the remaining freedom club members that are pre or just beginning parenthood. On top of gun control and demographics there is the assumption that FDR, philosophy, and the ideas of peaceful parenting will continue to be available well into the future which I would argue is a tenuous assumption given the trajectory of the state's growth and control over the internet. So if peaceful parenting wont work what else is there? As Stef has said, don't criticize unless you have a better alternative, so here is my alternative that I would really appreciate any feedback on. Its a TV show called Sing Nation and here is the 'treatment' for it as it is called. The basic idea is to connect the youth through music and through that connection have a peaceful revolution. I am not totally finished with it so any feedback is greatly appreciated. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12Q5JkIhQ2Y6EaMPjWgVSfOJ9dkmWoUNz1U7EfpyxyH8/edit?usp=sharing Thanks for reading.

I am a Minarchist and I know some people here might hate me for it, but let me explain. This open letter is meant to be at least some point in history to be read by Stefan as I very much respect his opinion. Anyone else reading this please don't dislike the post if you think I am wrong, but rather state why by a reply. I am fully willing to change my views if someone can prove me wrong on this! Minarchism in my opinion is a safe way to a totally free society. At the moment the societies we live in have state regulations and public sector companies growing everywhere around it. Some things are at the moment dependent on the state, because the previous generations thought it would be a good idea to build an infrastructure that is based on the existence of the state. If we went immediately from the current society to the Libertarian model of society, we would risk a chaos. Many people are so used to be living in a state that it would be impossible for them to deal in such a situation. A peaceful transaction from Statism to Libertarianism can only be achieved by taking it slow. Starting from privatizing public sector, reducing government regulations and decreasing the size of the army. It will take many decades until we reach a point where we can safely shut down the government and begin a completely free society. An example of a government that is ready to be shut down would be a one that only provides basic legal system and the police. The only thing I am still wondering about is how can we transfer the legal system to the private sector? I mean there is a huge chance for it to become corrupt... But I believe it can all be figured out while we get there, the important thing right now is to get this started. I still believe that politics and voting are important because they are a way to change the world without causing panic or fear. Of course there are examples of peaceful revolutions but that is a huge risk to take. Also in Minarchism there is the option to stop and think again if everything goes to hell. So before you judge Minarchists, let me tell you this: We both have the same goal, we just want to be VERY careful while getting there. And all out revolution is a big risk and risks cost lives. This is my question to Stefan (if he ever reads this): I know that what you want is freedom, but there is a big risk. So what are you willing to bet on it? Your life, your friends lives, your relatives lives or even your daughters life? I do not mean to come out insulting this is just a question I SO DEEPLY want an answer to. I am yet to find a video on Stefan about this subject but if someone knows one then I would appreciate if you linked it to me. Again if you people think this question is insulting or too personal (I don't think it is but i have been wrong), then please tell me either via private message or via posting on the thread so I can take whatever actions are necessary. Thank you all for listening to me and I hope you do well. Markus FIN

Russell Brand attacked parliamentary democracy on Newsnight recently and told Jeremy Paxman why he doesn't vote. Brands criticisms of the establishment have caused a stir because they are true. The days of party politics enjoying popular support are gone. But what is to be done? Brand advocates windfall taxes on corporations and an "egalitarian socialist" system but admits he has no idea how that might come about. He seems to think that other people know how to do it. I'm cynical about this. The left have played all their cards and can only mouth empty rhetoric. Brand is no stranger to profiting from mega corporations either. In this review I take a deeper look at these issues and Russell Brand.

Do you think the causes of the break with Britain were economic reasons (i.e. Navigation Acts, indirect taxation, duties, etc.) What other social or political reasons might have contributed to the war? I'm looking for some input. Thanks!
