  1. Hello there, My name is Ivana. I began listening to Stefan almost a year ago and admittedly am only now beginning to speak freely about my political views to my primarily leftist friends. I’m a 25 year old female artist living in the city, so inevitably I am completely alone in my libertarian viewpoints. I’d like to meet more people who are able to have honest and logical conversations. Looking forward to contributing to the conversations in this community online. Cheers

  11. The next Freedomain Radio Chicago Meetup is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th, at 2:00 p.m. The feedback we received encouraged us to plan the next one at the Local Root restaurant again. There are two options for parking nearby: One is street parking available within walking distance (last meetup even as close as a half block). Street parking is payable in coins, the rate is $4.00 per hour, and payable in 2 hour increments. The other option is parking garage. The cheapest parking garage nearest the venue is at 441 E. Erie at a rate of $16. It's located on the southeast corner of Erie Street and McClurg. Enter from Erie St, 1/2 block east of McClurg. Laura suggests a great phone app called 'SpotHero' that offers a map of available parking which is helpful in locating further parking options. Please RSVP at http://www.meetup.com/Freedomain-Radio/Chicago-IL/1155092/. If you don't have a Meetup account to RSVP, please contact me via the group facebook page (link below) or here by PM. This will help us keep an accurate count for reserving tables. Additional information can be found on the Freedomain Radio Chicago Meetup Group facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/656575817730880/. For more info about the venue and where it's located, visit their web site at www.localrootchicago.com. There are plans being made for the next future Meetup to be an outdoor event at a nature preserve just outside Chicago. Keith and Laura are working on the location, so we'll have a reserved area for a cookout. Yay for warm weather in Chicago!
  12. The Chicago Meetup held on 4/26 was amazingly fantastic; a big thank you to Keith and Laura for hosting it! In keeping the great momentum going, we've planned another Meetup for Saturday, May 10th at 2:00 p.m. It's being held at a restaurant called Local Root and is located at 601 N. McClurg, Chicago. For more info about the venue and where it's located, visit their web site at www.localrootchicago.com. And thank you to Daniel for inviting us to have it there. We're really looking forward to meeting up again for some more great conversations and also hope to meet new faces, too! Additional note, you can RSVP and keep up with the latest news on this meetup at: http://www.meetup.com/Freedomain-Radio/Chicago-IL/1146782/
  13. I'm located close enough to Chicago to make a day trip, but far enough outside the metro area and suburbs to be considered country living. Is there anyone in the Illinois counties of Dekalb, LaSalle, or Kendall that would be interested in getting together? I'm not anticipating it will be a large group of people in such a targeted area; however, the more the merrier. It would be great to find like-minded people in the area. I look forward to hearing from you!
