cherapple Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hello, Ian. I enjoyed meeting you in chat today and connecting on Facebook. I look forward to future conversations. Welcome again to the community.
Magenta Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hello and welcome. How do you feel about the current state of Mexico with regards to anarchism and economics and what are your future hopes/fears about Mexico? For example, I live in the U.S. and most anarchists here understand that the U.S. is printing large amounts of money, inevitably will hyperinflate their currency, has unsustainable financial obligations, and is increasingly becoming a police state and that gives some of us worry about our future economic and physical safety of living here. Do you have any similar issues in Mexico? Where would you recommend reading news and commentary about Mexico that is printed/spoken in English?
Ian Zen Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 I'm sorry for not anwering sooner, anarchy is still quite far in México, people are paternalistic, government education indoctrinates the vast mayority of the population. Mexico's economy is very dependant on the US economy, my guess is that when US falls, MX will fall just as hard. And to be honest I don't know of any news source worth following about México. I'll let you know if there is one. Thanks for the welcome!
Magenta Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Mexico's economy being dependent on the US economy is also a top fear of mine, as a person seeking relocation. With the seemingly inevitable collapse of the USD, what are your plans for your economic future?
