Harakunme Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Hello everyone! I am a soon to be civilian getting out of the military. I am currently on okinawa, but I should be heading to camp Lejeune for the rest of my seperation process, so I may not be able to post much these next few weeks. I reignited my interest in philosophy at the end of 2012 while dealing with some pretty difficult times while in the military. I was on lock down for breaking the curfew on okinawa and awaiting my seperations from the military. I had nothing to do in my room except read, and (attempt) to educate myself some about the workings of the world I live in. While searching online I ended up stumbling upon fdr and it immediately caught my attention and it caused me to change alot of my older views on how I treat people and most importantly my views on the state. I am truly happy for coming upon those videos, and podcasts they have really expanded my views on alot of subjects. I'm not that great at talking (something I am working on), but I do look foward to having many great discussions here.
