Hello everyone!

I joined these boards yesterday and I thought it would be great to start off, what I hope (and think) to be a great journey, here in this end of it all.

So, my name is Andreas, friends call me Andy for most parts, but you can call me whatever you like.
I am almost 22 years old now (yup on Tuesday) and I am living in Sweden. I would like to say that I am a very energetic man with loads of interests!
Well I sometimes have problems with actually keeping everything in my head. It can become a bit messy.
But, my big interests in life right now are self-and personal development, philosophy, psychology, economics, and strength training and I do not see this changing very much soon either. Really do love talking and practicing all of these areas as much as I can.
The gym is kind of my second home and I am working towards my goal of becoming a personal trainer and kind of do that as a living. But I do also want to compete in competitions such as Crossfit. My problem right now is that I do not have the money and, according to me, the experience of becoming a great licensed coach (yes sadly the market seems to show that I do need a paper telling everybody that I am good at training others right now, let us change that).

I did not have the greatest childhood, like most others, with a mother who verbally abused me and my two brothers. Also got bullied during the second half of my school days so my teenage years were not the most fun. Now in later years, I have found out that school still gives me the a tough time as I have come to realize that I am not a school person. Sitting still is not what I do.

Let me keep it to this for a start at least. Hello all, glad to be a part.

/Andreas

Hello Adreas "GingerStrength".

I hope you are able to become a licensed coach like you'd like to. I understand where you are coming from since I am studying under a field where a person cannot work professionally unless you have papers which say they could this job. Just remember that going through the efforts to get that paper is not supporting it, which is something I feel all of us, including yourself can agree on. Keep working hard and do not give up on what you believe in.
