NeoCortex Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Hey people of the FDR forum! How are you doing? I am Axel from Amsterdam. I would describe myself as a child of the interwebz, I was born in '92. I came from an household filled with depressed and addicted people. I have been listening to FDR for quite some time, which has been really helpful. Stefan once said something along the lines of ''What does not anger us we normalize, what we normalize we reproduce''.That really hit home. I look forward to interacting with the people of this forum. Keep on shining, people of virtue!

NeoCortex Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 I'm sorry to hear about your living situation growing up You'll find an honest welcoming community here free from bullshit/abuse. I'm glad you found FDR, welcome! Thank you. I have moved on from a lot of stuff by gaining knowledge on these issues. I wont ever say I am completely emotionally healed, but I will continue forever with attempts to improve myself. If anything it does motivate me to do things and try to make a positive impact on the world as a whole.
mthenke Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 In what ways would you like to make a positive impact, NeoCortex?
OzTrAlien Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Welcome, you are fortunate to have come to such a realisation and take a stance to make changes and an outcome you desire, while still relatively young.
