About to be a college graduate with a bachelors degree in Global and International Studies. Ancap. Atheist... Besides spending time learning things on the internet, most-recently and mainly via FDR, I like to lift weights 5-6 days a week. There are many more things I would find just as interesting, but in this NE Kansas environment, the opportunities simply are not here, and I am not in the financial situation to move elsewhere at the moment. I have ALWAYS been a philosopher for as long as I can remember, and I have mostly been interested in the practical applications of philosophy in people's everyday lives, which is probably why the FDR content is so appealing to me. I have been a contributing member on the FDR facebook page, and the FDR "family," based on a shared seriousness and passion for virtue, rationality, empiricism, ethics, etc. is the only community I feel a connection with; while other communities are mostly based on sports teams, ethnicity, religion, etc. You know, along the lines of what chimps could almost segregate themselves with, given an additional 5 IQ points. Don't mean to sound smug, but we simply have awesome genes and seek out the best EGGS- Truth.
