garygtmm Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I am a father of two, I have worked in I.T. for the passed 20 years. I am happily approaching my third year of celibacy (dating occasionally) after the end of a 25 year marriage. I am a competitive horseman and dog trainer in my free time. I am interested in expanding my knowledge of philosophy and ethics and I think I'm in the right place! 1
mbalrog6 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I love your description, a Canadian Redneck Nerd. That got me laughing, reminded me of my aunts boyfriend while I was growing up. He was from Oklahoma and was a true Okie. He told me stories of how he fished with a car battery and open wire, shocking the fish to the top of the river / creek. How if he needed a part for his pickup he would drive around until he found a match, pop the hood and take what he needed. He was a little uncouth. I must say your way of Red Necking is way more appealing, horseback riding and dog training, way more admirable. I too had a marriage that lasted 9 years, ended in one divorce been 2 years celibate, and have 1 daughter. I am a level 3 tech support agent for educational software. I am like the mini-me of you. I say mini because everything is not quiet to your level, 9 years of marriage instead of 25, 1 kid instead of 2, and application support agent instead of I.T. In America instead of Canada. The bizzaro-garygtmm that is me, lol.
