  1. Former Muslim Speaks Out Watch the video
  2. Question 1: [5:22] - “I just graduated college with a degree in Public Relations, but I am not really sure if this is the path I want to take. I am much more passionate about music and, unlike your caller, have a drive to practice and work non-stop until I get where I need to be. I have been involved in music since middle school and originally did not want to go to college and instead focus on entering the music industry. After unexpectedly being accepted into a top public university, my family urged me to take advantage of this opportunity. Now that I am out of college I was wondering if you could share some wisdom with me as to how I should proceed in taking the next steps of my life.” Question 2: [48:13] - “I am an advocate for capitalism, however there are multiple areas where I think no regulations are actually detrimental. What are the ethical and economic implications of completely free market? Would the world be a better place with a basic economic safety net? Wouldn't a completely free market prevent successful policies from being applied by a fair government? e.g. helping those in need to get back on their feet so they can become productive again which in turn would maximize meritocracy?” Question 3: [1:46:37] - “I have been listening to your show for more than a year and it has been a life changing experience for me listening to people who call into your shows and talk about their struggles. It seems that always those struggles have something to do with their childhood but apparently, it is not the case for me. I am an immigrant from a Muslim country in US and I did not have a particularly traumatizing childhood. However, I have a very hard time negotiating on my behalf with the people who are higher than me in the hierarchy of authority wherever I am at. And as a particular example of this lack of negotiation skills I find it very difficult and anxiety triggering to talk to females. My ACE score was very low and I cannot understand where this problem comes from. My question is how come that with a low ACE score I still have such a tremendous difficulty negotiating on my behalf and also approaching women. And how can someone like me gain such life transforming skills?” Question 4: [2:52:17] - “My son died when he was almost 2 years old in 2005. He had batten disease a rare genetic brain disorder. My ex and I adopted 2 boys from foster care years after his death. They are 11 and 7 now. I have a biological daughter who is 13 and did not contract the disease. I've struggled this past year dealing with his death, closing my business and my recent divorce. A few years later I donated my kidney to my father. My question is how can I stop thinking about his death, and him possibly being somewhere in the afterlife, I have constant thoughts about his passing and want to focus on being the best father I can to my 3 kids and not on the past with my ex and son's death.” Your support is essential to Freedomain Radio, which is 100% funded by viewers like you. 12. Question 1: [2:11] - “I'm originally Syrian and currently German. I came to Germany in 2008. I did my master’s in physics, I did then my PhD in particle and atomic physics, and then a did post-doctoral period in physics, and then decided to become a software developer professionally. I've been developing software since my masters. I've been doing software development professionally for over a year. Now basically the question I'd like to discuss with is: Where the hell am I going to go?” “To put this question in context, I'm a workaholic. Besides my day job as a developer in the space industry, I have 3 other jobs, which is freelance work as a crypto developer, and my own personal project of a cryptocurrency exchange, and finally consultancy work for the university, since I built a communication platform they use for some experiment. And with all this, I trade cryptocurrency, so I made even more and more money... but... I'm going to pay half of it as taxes!” “As you can imagine, someone who works this much wouldn't be happy with 45% taken off his paycheck. My fault and sin is that I make so much money because I work hard. And instead of buying a big house for my family after living for years in apartments that range in size from 25 to 57 square meters, I have to pay taxes for those ‘refugees’ that live in 120-meter apartments and sleep every day until noon and don't even learn the language of the country. I'm talking from what I saw and what my wife saw with our naked eyes. And yet, those people complain and are not happy with everything they're getting for free, while I tear myself 16 hours a day working... and let's not forget the sexual harassment my wife started receiving since the migrant crisis.” “And it's not getting any better! Although the dominant right-wing part in Germany got highly voted in the last elections, it still isn't enough. The vote results are like 17% or something. And to be clear about my culture, I and my wife are ex-Muslims. Currently I'm a flaming atheist, the kind that had debates with people and argues using quantum mechanics and quantum field theory why this universe probably doesn't have a creator. So after all this, I'm thinking of leaving... this country is going down and is continuously taking a cut of my children's money... where the hell will I go? All western countries have gone crazy with leftism, and I don't see a way out! Should I just stay in Germany and shut up and outlive this crisis? How should we deal with this?” Question 2: [1:39:35] - “I always hear Stefan urge people to have kids when they’re young. Please explain how this is possible in today’s economy? If you’re going to have a baby shouldn’t you own a home first? You would at least need a two-bedroom apartment preferably in a safe area near a good school. Most people of child bearing age don’t have the same opportunities their parents had. We are faced with sky rocketing home prices and rent. Heck, higher prices for just about everything except for stupid electronic gadgets. Jobs opportunities are few, precarious, and often low paying. Few young people can afford the healthcare needed to have a kid. Many don’t have healthcare at all. Many are living hand to mouth where having a kid is just not feasible without outside support.” Question 3: [2:32:21] - “Do atheist tend to lean towards far-left ideology? If so, why? I once believed that socialist governments tend to push towards atheism, but I am beginning to believe that maybe the reverse is also true. I am surprised that many critical thinking nonbelievers are so quick to buy into the half-truths and unsupported claims that socialism offers. They will argue against religion using empirical evidence and logic yet when choosing a political affiliation, they throw reason and evidence out the window. I'm increasingly concerned about this due to the growing numbers of "NONE"s here in the US and what impact they may have on the future of our republic.” Your support is essential to Freedomain Radio, which is 100% funded by viewers like you. 22. As the October 14th, 2018, Bavarian state elections approach, Germany is in the midst of political civil war which not only threatens the current government coalition, but the political future of long-term German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the stability of the European Union. The state of Bavaria - the largest German state by land area and its second most populated with 12.9 million inhabitants - has been electorally dominated by the Christian Social Union (CSU) for decades, but concern about the surging Alternative For Germany (AfD) as elections approach had prompted an establishment party push for stronger immigration policy. Includes: The political future of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Bavaria, Christian Democrats (CDU), Horts Seehofer’s Christian Social Union (CSU), Social Democrats (SPD), Alternative For Germany (AfD), German Interior Minister Horts Seehofer, Bavarian State Premier Markus Söder, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, Italy's Political Revolution, European Union, George Soros, Asylum Applications, United Nations Estimates On Foreign-Born or Foreign Citizens and much much more! 24. Question 1: [2:14] – “I am 36 years old, yet just this past year I have discovered (through a DNA test on 23 and Me) that my father is not actually my biological father and that my real father was a student and anonymous sperm donor at a medical university—where I was conceived. My brother was also revealed to be a half-brother. I had underlying suspicions for years to which my parents had always mislead me—and when the DNA results were finally revealed their response was ‘DNA was not really known in 1982 and had we known this would ever be found out we would not have lied.’ My question is whether or not you consider the practice of donor conception to be morally viable? And whether or not lying to children about who their bio father is—is akin to child abuse?” Question 2: [46:00] – “In the fall of Bill Cosby episode, Stef talks about women needing to take greater caution when interacting with men. He equates a woman accepting an older man’s invitation to accompany him to private quarters with leaving a Rolex on a park bench in downtown New York. My interpretation of his argument was that because women are more vulnerable to predation than men, they should limit their freedom more in order to avoid being confronted by evil in our society. Vulnerability is not only an invitation for evil but also an opportunity for others to act with moral integrity. The right to freedom from the initiation of coercion and freedom of movement for women and other vulnerable citizens of a nation, whose constitution is based upon those principals, are promised defense against those who violate the constitution. It is through defending our freedom that we protect it from being destroyed by those who wish to enslave us. How much more of our individual freedom are we expected to sacrifice in order to escape the evils society claims to defend its citizens against?” Question 3: [2:22:37] – “I'm either somebody who's being enslaved or somebody who signed the dotted line and needs to get over my regrets. The difference between that decides whether I need to chase my own dreams, verses learn to be happy with the options I have. Thus, the reasoning behind that Right to Pursue Happiness becomes the fine line from which I can gain critical introspection which I need to move on to my next career. My undergraduate degree is in Math. Everyone knows that 1 x 1 = 1, but *proving* it by the underlying definitions wasn't something I did until Senior level coursework. Thus, I figure coming up with proof for basic things that most people accept as axioms is best left to specialists. Thus, I'm calling a philosopher to prove why freedom is a right.” Your support is essential to Freedomain Radio, which is 100% funded by viewers like you.
