  1. I have to disagree with this analogy. THE SSRI gives you a chance to consider what your doing, look down, and slowly take your foot off the gas pedal. At this point, you still have to press down the break, and you do this by changing your environment (which is causing the problem) or by changing the cognitive behavior that is feeding the neurosis. The drug is a tool, like any other drug in the world. It has effects, both helpful and not helpful. There is not much you can do when being bombarded by repeated panic attacks.
  2. People can speculate how things might turn out, and Stef has done just that, I'm sure you will find answers to your questions on his free book "Practical Anarchy: The Freedom of the Future" I recommend you read it and if you still have questions feel free to post them.
  3. You prevent things from getting worse by changing people's ideology. If they no longer believe in government as necessary, then the government will eventually shrink to insignificance. At the same time the governments shrinks, natural selection will take over the gene pool and we'll be left with smart, well-adjusted, free-marketeers. If there is no state, there are no laws, furthermore, the rich can't steal without a monopoly on force This was just covered in Stefan's video: An honest conversation with a Bernie Sanders supporter No, there would be no "rulers." Why would I want someone to "rule"? If I wanted that, then I would want to leave things just the way they are. No one would have a monopoly on force. That is the only difference as far as structure goes. Also, no one would believe in government because they would no longer get forced indoctrination. The only reason why someone commands a monopoly on force, is because the general public grants it to them. That is all. If you watch my preceding video on the constitution, you'll see how the "producers" voluntarily gave a monopoly on force to the takers. It was a trade-off.
  4. Dude, I just realized you're not even donating any money to FDR. I can't believe you're calling anyone out here. Why don't you "take action" and donate your labor to Stefan. Otherwise fling off.
  5. I addressed this. Did you watch the end of the video? The country was already taken over by the super rich in 1776.
  6. You take the lead. What are you going to do?
  7. Thanks guys for your feedback. I really appreciate it. It's encouraging.
  8. It was my attempt to sort of prompt people to test my model. Apply the theory to everyday political happenings and see if it matches. A lot of my relatives and family members are very new to this way of thinking, so it was mostly for their benefit. Not sure how effective it will be.
  9. Happy New Year guys and gals, Enjoy this New Year's gift I made for everyone. I'm pretty sure this one is my best video so far. It is an easy to understand, comprehensive analysis of the modern social-political dynamic in 1st world countries. It's a great tool to share with people who have no clue what's going on, like teenagers for example. I've actually used this video series on my own family (all of whom are for government in some capacity) and I have gotten really good results. They haven't seen this video yet, and I'm really curious to see how it will effect their outlook on the current election. I hope to change their behavior in terms of voting. If I actually effect their "political" behavior, then I will consider this a great accomplishment. Wish me luck.
  10. Thanks for the reply. I doubt that any school system would adopt this video. Maybe a private school. As far as the first picture, I only noticed the confederate flag after I published everything and was like "oh shit!" The picture gets the point across though. Hopefully people will just gloss over it.
  11. Greetings and Merry Festivus! I think this is my best one. This video starts with right before the revolutionary war and describes how the United States was founded by debtors. I think I do a good job of demonstrating to the viewer how this event was directed not by any lofty principles, but by individuals pursuing their own economic interests. It's pretty easy to follow and hopefully will be a good tool for getting discussions going around the dinner table about taxation and the monopoly of force . Enjoy!
  12. What the hell is wrong with you Mantis?
  13. really? what are Cylons? sounds really interesting
  14. Except, why did the wolfs' eyes light up like they were flashlights when the survivors were huddling under the plane wreckage?
  15. I suppose you're right. Regardless, I would rather be in a situation where everyone had a gun (even though it may take a few seconds to understand who the aggressor is), than in a situation where no one had a gun except for the aggressor.
  16. In the case of a lone gunman, or even a group of gunman, how would people be able to decipher who is the aggressor if everyone pulled out a gun to defend themselves? That's the only thing that bothers me.
  17. The whole thing is self-detonating. He's using reason to try to prove that reason is in-effective?
  18. All religious scriptures are violent. If you follow religious scriptures, you are violent. If you don't follow religious scriptures, well, you're not religious. Can you really be religious without following religious scripture? I say no. Most people, "Muslims" and "Christians" included, don't follow religious scripture. What does that mean? Yes, They are not religious. So I don't know why they claim they are.

    Atheism

It doesn't take a rational person to be an atheist. Animals are atheist.
  20. Hey everyone, I put together this presentation linking the ideology of the Indus River Civilization and the ideology of the those people who formed the "freedom club" in the 18th century. Many of you already are aware of the things discussed in the video but I think it's an interesting perspective, especially when considering the parallels between the heterarchy of the Indus age and the founding of the United States. I hope you get something out of it.
  21. So let me get this right. Bill Gates thinks the world is too selfish to do anything in anyone else's interest, so he wants to grab the gun and force everyone to do what he wants? And this makes him different?
