Here is a link to the bill for those curious http://leginfo.ca.gov/pub/15-16/bill/asm/ab_1351-1400/ab_1354_bill_20150910_enrolled.htm Of interesting note: Hey! Only disproven a million times, but it pushes legislature through anyway...arghhh....*gnashes teeth* Can someone explain to me what happens when an employer hires a harder working employee for the same position as they do another, and choose to pay them more? Is that now discrimination? I'm not so good at reading bullshit.

Well now, I have egg on my face. Oh well. -
Was sifting through the Internet, and came across this article. Thought of you guys and how much you'd enjoy it. http://rare.us/story/texas-town-sees-crime-drop-by-almost-two-thirds-after-firing-police-hiring-private-security/ It is my sincere hope that more towns start doing this. Any thoughts guys n gals? Besides you know, "DUH!"

Thank you for this video! As Stefan read the rules of public schools, the descriptions of how boys were disciplined and molded, I realized that they were identical to the ways my parents raised and treated me, especially my father. He was born during WWII in the UK, and was sent off to these kinds of boarding schools. I'm beginning to see him in a different light now; there are more reasons behind his madness. I want to reiterate how intense this video was. Thank you Stefan. I eagerly await the next part.

Anyone attending the hackers conference? Would be cool to meet some FDR people while here.

To each their own. I'm personally a big believer in meditation. To echo Rainbow Jamz a bit, I find that learning to clear my mind, to learn to let thoughts slip away as quickly as they come, is a way to put my mind at ease. I'm able to relax much better throughout the day, I don't carry tension in my body. Your mind is always chattering away, always on, always processing information. Just like a computer, shutting down, or at least restarting is quite beneficial. If you're going to slap up an article supporting a claim, or shooting one down, at least present your own developed thoughts. Vague one liners don't exactly provoke any sort of deep discussion. The very link you provided doesn't even discredit meditation, it merely casts doubt on its ability to combat complex ailments, mainly due to lack of proper funding and subsequent data. Meditation's ability to relieve tension and stress goes unshaken, and the article even states it relieves anxiety and depression "to a similar degree as antidepressant drug therapy." That's pretty awesome in my book.

I look forward to meeting you! Assuming I'll have the chance a midst the swarms of fans.

How many other people are going to the voice for men conference in Detroit? Would this not be a fine time to meet others from FDR? Who's with me!? *crickets*

Apologies in advance if this is posted elsewhere, but a quick search yielded no results. Is anyone else going? I just did a crazy thing...and bought my flights, room and ticket all in one go. Frankly, I'm terrified as much as I am excited to attend. I've never spent that much on my own self-improvement.

Thank You Stefan, I don't live in Belgium!

It took a lot of courage on your part to step away from religion. I applaud you; it's very scary to own up to it internally, and then express that change externally. Regardless, I'm sorry that you've been rejected by so many in your community, that's always hurtful. I imagine it came as quite a shock to them. I hope you find the community here receptive and to your liking. It's not quite as judgmental. ~_^ Welcome!- 4 replies

That's really quite disgusting. This isn't joke gum, this is an action that monumentally changes 4 peoples' lives.

Has anyone else been keeping up with this madness as of late? He left a suicide note for the world to see, and somehow his ex-wife has gotten legal sanction to remove his entire blog under "copyright" laws. It's been all over reddit, and a voice for men has made a post about it. I'm personally disgusted that someone can get away with this kind of behavior. It saddens me as a human being to see us act this way. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
