  1. maybe there is something that you would enjoy doing, like.....mechanics or something like that. For intellectual persuits..., try a good math book. It can change your life.
  2. I will think the most important question should be is. Why do people/mainstream/ care about Isreal so much in contrast to say..... tutsi/hutu conflict? 800.000 dead? or Chechen/Russian conflict or.... <fill in talking point>. I mean, its bad and all that, but why the special attention? I dont think a thread covering another conflict would gather the amount of pagebending post or votedowns/voteups as this one.
  3. I dont see why their skincolor is relevant.. for being anti or pro-israel. Or even why you see it as beneficial for colored people on average are not well educated (as they are less likely to support israel?))))) Anyway...., the next point is just weird,..,lack of education (what kind?) makes for critical thinkes?))))
  4. Nothing new here. from Rothbard speach at mises , recorded back in 1984 "The history of the federal reserve" fragment quote on "intellectuals and the state" "the ideology was pushed by intellectuals who were rising up, throughout history statism has been imposed by 2 groups, the state itself, and the opinion molding groups, the intellectuals. wich in most cases in history was the church, the function of the church was to tell people to obey the state. "the state is god, the king is god" "After seperation of church and state, in the progressive period, they began to refrom the old alliance 'intellectuals and big government' forming the court apologist for the "new empire". The intellectuals were ready for this alliance because a lot of them were comming up since the late 19th century when the Phd program was introduced the intellectuals were seeking privileges security the state could provide". Well, seems Dr Peter Corning was just doing nothing more then provide services he was payed for by the states gravy train. No need for wasting argumentation other then calling a spade a spade. /Judas/ Whore. /poverty pimp. Some info on the culprit Peter Corning, Ph.D., taught in the Human Biology Program at Stanford University for many years and is the long-time director of the Institute for the Study of Complex Systems. He is the author of several recent books, including The Fair Society: The Science of Human Nature and the Pursuit of Social Justice, as well as more than 150 professional journal articles in the biological and social sciences, and he is widely known for his work on the role of synergy as a causal agency in evolution.
  5. Holes in the fram make the structure chassis more riged and add stiffness. (and also more lighter because of drilled out matterial) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightening_holes Nice picture -> from wiki 1935 car chassis, with lightening holes h
  6. Its physicly impossible to create cost effective (emphasis) integrated circuitry that will last decades, sure you can create durable electronics but never in a cost effective way. This all has nothing to do with evil corperate greedyness. The price of any basic electrical component (not IC) is just above the base raw material that went into it + energy used to create said component. Profit margins are incredibly thin in this sector.
  7. I enjoy music alot, especially death metal, or grunt,.. its a good mood stabelizer..... . well i like every music, even polka if i am in the mood)) haha
  8. Funny critters these politicians. unless someone has your private key, nobody can touch your assets, and how ill they prove you own it in the first place?, if you stay withing the bitcoin space they cant do anything. I dont believe this is about bitcoin,.., bitcoin was a nice trial baloon to test the waters as it were. The next one will be more weaponized. (ethereum).
  9. why is electricity unnatural? I dont think you can compare a Camera with an incredibly advanced piece of equipment like a Mac. Obsolecense is not planned either.,,, semiconductors lattice suffer wear and tear because of heat. http://spectrum.ieee.org/semiconductors/processors/transistor-aging Thats just how it is.., maybe things will improve when we start using graphene.... If you are interested in learning more about material science with regard to semiconductors i recommend these book "C Kittel, introduction into solid state physics" http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Solid-Physics-Charles-Kittel/dp/047141526X
  10. True, all those oblisks and greek/roman style government buildings,...,all coincidence.
  11. mm its funny the US economy needs 300.000 engineers and cant find them. Hence the H1B visa. lazy people get rewarded,..., and now they need to import people NOT in the USA cultural space ( ouside the freedom club?) because it seems impossible to find home grown engineers. Enough people who do stupid shit like "Masters in yoga" though....
  12. These are mostly utilitarian arguments and not helpfull Best argument would be "why do you think you are a better human because you wear a uniform"
  13. Preeching anarchy in a warzone,,,, thats like preeching anarchy on the beaches of Normandy on D-day with all the bullits wizzing around. Well,.., could work, but honestly i think it has a low propability of success. How did you end up in Israel btw? Edit: you answered this question already. Its funny on the vote-in/buy-in, you described. There are still some places in Switzerland that require your fellow villagers a positive vote for you to gain Swiss citizenship (after going through all the formalities and pre-requisites). I think immigration might look like this in future "state-less" communities.
  14. Well its funny because there is the context of "moon-landing-never-happended" movement. Otherwise people would not really care about peculear perspective shifts.
  15. clear footage showing hooded men using kids (13-14 year old at gunpoint) as meat shields in street combat is disturbing to me personally. You claim it is not disturbing to you , this is not good. You Claimed Stalinist Russia/USSR fighting nazi invasion was "citizen self defense", ( Note: Surrender or retreat of Russian Soldiers invited extermination of family members by the Tjekka ) but somehow Poland defening against nazi invasion is glossed over as not valid. I think this ( your WWII remark) is a clear case of a moral compass not working. This is made up nonsense, the IRA was heavily funded by Americans who identified themselves with the Irish cause and Identity. After 9-11. The US government made financially supporting organisations on the terrorist-list a criminal offense (this included the IRA). Basicly IRA funding dried up. Also after 9-11,. politicians identifying themselves with the Irish cause couldnt sell their allegiance to the American public. From the horses mouth: http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/opinion/news-analysis/how-911-gave-the-ira-an-exit-route-from-war-28654323.html On October 18, just six weeks after 9/11, the IRA began destroying its weaponry with barely a peep of protest from its rank-and-file. Fear of isolation had done the trick. You do realize that you actually are saying: "Younger, American non-whites" are on average not well educated.
  16. 1) first that is inaccurate and since people dont say random stuff for no reason you are trying to say something here? what exactly? 2) ok, lets see how you apply this rule. 3) Oh, Poland=no selfdefense, but USSR=selfdefense because Stalin would kill your whole family if you surrendered or retreated. mmmm Accurate depiction of what happened to Sovjet soldiers retreating at the battle of Stalingrad/ I found this very disturbing
  17. @Extraordinary_rendition "..Couldn't I just as easily say you have bias because you're not in college?.." mmmf.. I actually wrote (in this thread) I went to uni. but ok. also your ideas on what CS is, what CE is, what EE engineers do is a bit inaccurate, but ok , its not about that. happy programming.
  18. Thanks,, I will google.
  19. Thanks pipeline_mike for the link What am jawdrapping totally amazed about the amount of excusing that goes on. Why do people get kids while they are not even in a position to take care of themselves .....I have no words to describe this utter dysfunction.
  20. Ok, so you universalized the statement that "self defense" doesnt exist for a state,..., so when Poland fought back nazi invasion/ USSR invasion.. that wasnt selfdefense...or in defense of its citizens.
  21. I dont see it as immoral if the government steals 100 euro from you and you ask for 10 euros back.
  22. But who will pay for the roads?))
  23. What language do you use for Andriod (?) development,..., did you use a gaming library?
