  1. Men have exactly the same resources available to them to appear more attractive and desirable to women. It is just often the case that they lack motivation to obtain then which bleeds over to other aspects of life rendering them unattractive.
  2. You can listen to what he has said and make your own mind up, a lot (not all) he has said lines up quite neatly with libertarian views. Make up your own mind and act on what you think. Take off the filter of everybody from CNN to Stefan and read in to what you think is important.
  3. I used to have a lot of respect for Penn Gillette and Teller. But after the recent election and their crying and propagation of the lies and slander of Donald Trump I have lost a lot of respect I had for them. They espouse libertarian virtues, small government, free thinking and open market capitalism but when Trump shares these values he completely backpedals on what they want and joined #NeverTrump brigade. They compromised their beliefs in order to stay popular and current.
  4. Right now, Oil & Gas or the armed forces would provide the greatest returns. I am aware of where I am posting this, but approval of the NAP does not negate the current need or appeal of a career (or stint) in the forces.
  5. Lindybeige is not known for giving the whole story, he does not make note of the fact that this was a war close to home for reasons most people did not know, they were conscripts mainly, forced to fight a war they neither knew nor cared about. He does not mention that the difference between a Britain, Frenchman and a German is basically location, the cultures are so very similar, the religion identical and their values the same. Contrast that against an insurgent enemy that shares none of that, that acts and behaves in a way you find abhorrent, disgusting and primitive. The conditions the men fought in WW2, the depressed, soul-crushing slog of trench warfare is a far cry from the outside the wire for 12 hours and back before lights out. All of this bred a commonality for the men fighting each other, during Christmas they heard each other singing christmas hymns and with this came the realization that they are not what we have been told. Again contrast with the increased attacks and suicide bombings that happen around the holidays in the wars we are currently fighting, look at the behavior they condone during their holy days and see why it is no longer the case that most men will refuse to kill.
  6. This is false. The average man on the street does not care if you are man or woman, only that you present the qualifications needed to do the job in question. The fact that she is a woman has very little to do with it and there is the problem, it is not that we do not care what gender you are, but in the average working man's eyes gender does not equal anything at all but you seem to think it does. You mentioned the entertainment industry, why? Because of the hilarious pandering failed PR campaign of Ghostbusters? Did you forget about some of the most enjoyable female leads in the industry? Ripley from Alien, Clarice from Silence of the Lambs? There is no problem in making a remake of a movie and putting a twist on it but when it is shoehorned in to a long standing franchise in order to profit from the social movement of the day it becomes transparent. Had they dropped the whole campaign of feminism behind Ghostbusters I daresay it may of done far better at the box office.
  7. While working, we had the chance of getting flu shots paid for by work. Never really bothered as in a big metropolitan city since flus blow through all the time even when the strain you are immunized against is predicted to hit here. This did not stop the Anti-Vaccination Quality Assurance Manager from coming out the day before and posting a computer made message about them containing mercury, formaldehyde and all other nasty poisons that can damage your children and your health! It was pretty shocking, the amount of disinformation out there is staggering at times.
  8. They believe what they are spouting is honest and true, though it is irrelevant, closing one's self of from people in a social environment because of differing opinions is of no benefit to anybody and discredits both you and your argument.
  9. A) Your behavior is worse than those as you are forcing them to agree with your beliefs or else is childish, petulant and likely to reinforce all negative beliefs they hold about whatever associations you have tried to share with them. B) Evidence would say you are not a 'pretty convincing guy' as you have failed to impart any lasting impression of your beliefs on family members, those who trust and love you. You also threaten to cut off contact. C) Given the manner of your post I suspect that you are the one that brings up the majority of any political conversations. But yes, this appears to be the best option of those you have said. D) Again, your insistence on wanting to cut off contact is immature. Your desperate need to create a safe space for yourself is no different to the ones that are being called for in Universities all across the West. You have neglected to mention how or where this vacation will take place, I strongly urge you to not bring it up and let it pass without incident. If for reasons beyond your control issues are raised by other members of the family, reply with a few certifiable facts and move on.
  10. Began full time work at the age of 16, loved it, gained experience and a work ethic that has stayed with me all my life. The idea that people begin full time employment upon reaching 18 or 21 is a huge disservice to themselves and their local economy as they are entering the work force under-educated in vital aspects such as time management, professionalism and the much valued lesson that life is not, nor should it ever be, fair. By entering the work at a younger age they are more likely to be shown and taught key information that will make them more employable in the future. There are valid, desirable and profitable career paths other than college, which increasingly seems to be the worst option a young adult can do if you do not include STEM and a couple of other under-taught subjects.
  11. This, and instruct the girl in the correct and safe use of self defense with firearms and a mental attitude that can place her needs and survival over that of an attacker.
  12. F) Trump puts more money in to their pockets, gets many of them gainfully employed and improves economic prospects, infrastructure and security for all here legally.
  13. Social gatherings, meeting in person and such. Never understood the sharing of ones whole life.
  14. I'd say that is a fair assessment, good old Varg. Very inspired by Tolkien he was.
  15. Wait until Trump is in office and use the Whitehouse.org.
  16. It won't stop, as all the alt-media has said this is the easy part. The hart part is not letting a malaise fall over the population that rejected globalization and fall back in to old habits of complacency and contentment. They will try all the more to prevent this happening again.
  17. The involuntary manner in which one must attend and leave this super happy fun time pals gang is immediately curious.
  18. “Never trust people who've only got one fucking book.” ― Billy Connolly
  19. Trigger warnings mean, and always will, booger hookers off the bang-switch until you are ready to fire.
  20. No it's not Dsayers, it is a cheap and easily concieved political/social comment, I do no detract from the issue it attempts to tackle which we all agree is very serious, but it is not art. It is dull contrite and replicated a thousand times over, everything art is not.
  21. Violent crime spike after gun-ban, in a nation with so many large and deadly creatures you are not trusted to defend yourself.
  22. Whatever principle you want and can defend through sound reasoning, clear logic and rational thinking.
