  1. This is how the mainstream does polling. It is worthless as a lanyard to measure anything against. It is no different to going to a NFL forum and polling who here likes football?
  2. Good friends with a lot of hispanics, live in Texas, don't say a sodding thing about politics to anybody. Instead tell them to buy guns, get guns and aquire more guns so if they are so pro-gun they will never go Democrat.
  3. Invest in antacids and means to neutralize stomach acid and acid reflux, often when your diets change massively it can trigger a whole range of reactions, one of the worst is acid reflux. It can be easily treated with a simple, cheap tablet. As well, iron pills, if you suffer from acid relux a lot as antacids can block the bodies absorbtion of iron, especially womenfolk.
  4. So what you wish to do to the next few generations is what the Baby Boomers did to the current ones? We run up the cards, they pay them off?
  5. What exactly is obscure about your children, or your grandchildren? Both of which you have the highgest possible chance in the World of holding in your arms.
  6. I would strongly recommend trying to get a hold of some 'Biscuit Brown' from some milsurp place. The Army discontinued it after the abdominal discomfort became too much for young squaddies to take, especially after the Badge bets him a beasting he can not eat ten of them in one sitting.
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbWenUiJ4Ps Christopher Hitchens nailed it with Hillary Clinton on her experience. I do not know how long ago this was recorded but I would guess at least ten years.
  8. Was Asgard not doomed to die in the fires of Ragnarok with Fenris howling until he swallows the moon whole? On a more serious note, how does the current or the idealized state of the internet differ from the Noosphere, digital or otherwise? There are a couple of things, access requirements, filters on imput (Should I type X?) but functionally, it can be called the noosphere, couldn't it?
  9. Has there ever been an election in a Western Democracy with one of the candidates so mired in corruption, scandal, illega dealings than the upcoming US one? Or a one where the established media has repeatedly puhed and pushed and pushed for her election?
  10. Proof in history? That is an awful, brutal and hellish place, regardless of your nation. Many of those who fell to Communism still suffer under it, especially in Asia and Afirca. Those under a Caliphate/Theocracy more-so, as those in power genuinely believe they are doing God's will by stoning rape victims in the street, by cutting the heads of homosexuals and silencing all negative speech about their practices. You seem under the mistaken impression that the current eleciton is completely fraudulent but Donald Trump was elected entirely democratically during the Republican primaries, he beat all other contenderse (Was it over a dozen at the start?) to take up the mantle of Republican nominee, he broke records in turn out and popularity. It was Hillary Clinton and the DNC that ran the corruption that plotted against their own nominees. But still, at least we are able to have elections regarldess of what happens. Look at the UK whicht has recently appointed another unelected official take the Prime Minsters chair, again. Gordon Brown, David Cameron and more, was Tony Blair the last elected official to hold that office? Then you have the House of Lords, an entirely undemocratic instituion were power flows from father to son, one can not be raised their by popular demand. Nobody speaks ill of the rampant violations of democracy this old Country commits, with the complete insperation of Church and State, benign as it may be right now.
  11. I get the strong impression you are speaking from personal history about the dangers of alcohol. In the West, I do not believe any sizeable number of people are unaware of the dangers of intoxication or indeed many of the things that cause harm. We are all aware of what it does to the body, to our minds, to our perception. The reason it happens? They just do not care enough, about their family, their work, their home, their friends to stop them from showing the worst of themselves when abusing the drink. It may be addiction, it may be apathy, regardless the result is they care for intoxication more than those around them. In a casino you are fully aware of your surroundings and what the overwhelmingly result is going ot be, we know they are designed to take money. We are completely in command of our actions. If you believe pissing your hard earned money up a wall in the hopes of striking it big is worthwhile, go for it, the casino will not stop you. If you get drunk and do the same, it is entirely their fault as no action was taken against them to force them to play. You entire argument is one against personal responsibility, people are aware of the dangers of almost every dangerous thing they can encounter, stray dogs, guns, casinos, cars, motorbikers, planes, fast food, sugary drinks, too little exercise, swimming pools, rotten meat, disease, bacteria, banks and indeed landmines. You give people far too little credit and yourself far too much.
  12. I recall something like this being proven to be false, a couple of the less hilarious ones were taken out of context with more absurdity tacked on.
  13. When Trump does win the Republican party will come straight to heel as they realize they have more to lose by letting a Democrat majority get in to the House than they do by being babies and boycotting the Don. I predict now there will also be a notiable increase in 'Localized 'Trumps' that is those without political background but a name, a reputation the resources to run a campaign and the inteligence to run a strong one. With these people they will return the wayward ship back to the core values of this fine Republic.
  14. But get this, he then used his loss of an investment to off-set his tax for later years! He followed the law completely and in the manner it is meant to be used for, saving many hundreds, if not thousands of jobs and keeping many people fed, clothed and housed. Can you believe the nerve of this guy?
  15. It is very hard to believe that on the same day as damning Emails surface about Hillary are released is the same day an 11 year old video of a business man talking to a few guys surfaces at such a convergence of him both running for office, deflecting media attention from Hillary, right before a big debate. The good thing is people are becoming wise to this and the more the media back Hillary, the more people realize something is wrong.
  16. Stay out the Armed Forces, even the women talk like that.
  17. Michael Moorcock > Michael Moore What will be the bubble that is inflated, what industry will be the catalyst? I suspect, if Hillary wins, clean energy. Massive Fed incentives to invest in it, people do, short-term gains are made by those in the industry at the cost of long term growth, coupled with rising energy costs make continued used of it impractical/unprofitable.
  18. Tax can be derived in any number of ways, it can be done by a tithe of workable materials such as steel alloys, woods, grains and other consumables or time spent labouring on communal projects. There will always be a way to levy a tax, fee or charge.
  19. Are there books that can be recommended to people that can broaden your mind? Not completely related to Philosophy but for general education? Books that can be consider essential to a rounded education, fiction or non-fiction, historical or modern or satire. I ask because everytime I step in to a book store I find myself overwhelmed by the choices there and the endless lists on the internet, in the end I usually cop out and get something simple.
  20. When you say gamed, you mean understands? It is not gamed when a Quarterback or Striker avoids the defense and is able to score for his team, it is competency. Though I agree, crack open the Clinton Foundation and suspect you will find some very creative accounting, some of it putting Jackson Pollock to shame.
