dsayers, you have made claims, but you have not proven anything. I have made the claim that voting does make a difference. I can prove it empirically—look at the last 8 years. Can you think of things that would be different if Obama wasn't in office?
-
You have to demonstrate how voting in this elections cycle, or any election cycle, won't make a difference. You have not demonstrated that. There are plenty of examples throughout history that shows that who is elected makes a difference. Whether that difference is good or bad, is another subject all together

If the act of voting is "amoral", then this whole charade is just a matter of strategy, not principles. So far, my strategy, outlined in "The Anarchist's Guide to Voting" is the best, and probably the only way to get from A to Z.

whew! I'll put away my rat poison that I was about to swallow. Thanks for letting me know.

Option 1: Bend over and take it up the ass for eternity from inferior people until the human population gets consumed in nuclear hell-fire. Option 2:

In a causal universe, doesn't every action have both negative and positive consequences? Furthermore, what's negative for one person could be positive for another. I'm not trying to annoying, but I thought I would just point that out. Otherwise, yeah, I would say that the principals of not stealing or murdering evolved for the purpose of limiting social problems and enabling the species to flourish.

On the one hand a politicians actions have unknown consequences. On the other hand voting for a politician, thus enabling him to act, has very real consequences (exploding a grenade in a crown of people). There seems to be a contradiction here. Either the consequences of political action are unknown, or the consequences are bad (exploding grenades). Which one?

social justice warriors debate race and IQ at the RNC
jpahmad replied to jpahmad's topic in General Messages
I don't really care much about the IQ argument. I just thought it was interesting how that chic in the video was arguing the guys point for him. -
Check out this video. It think it's pretty entertaining. You always get this idiotic line of reasoning from lefties on this topic. I think I break it down pretty well.

If Trump gets in, then we will certainly find out the answer to all of your questions. That is why Trump needs to get in. It's information we all need! -

What does Trump's debate performance have to do with whether you'll vote for him or not? I mean, how does it change anything fundamentally? -
no sources. Just my empirical observations from teaching privately for 15 years and seeing people develop from age 7-18 ( I have quite a few long-term "cradle to grave" students) I do have sources that I link to in the article concerning self-determination theory though.

For those of you who don't like the carrot and stick approach to motivation, read my new blog post on the issue: http://franklinmusicacademy.com/intrinsic-motivation-and-its-misappropriation

Ever wonder why some anarchists are so eager to see a complete meltdown of society as soon as possible?
