    I have changed my mind, I think you should vote. I used to repeat to myself the mantra, 'if voting changed anything they'd make it illegal', But this election cycle I can't say that. For the first time we are presented with a non-establishment candidate that isn't bought and paid for by special interests before the campaign begins.

    Yesterday I messaged this girl who had the kind of qualities I am looking for, namely; not a liberal, traditional and family oriented type. I messaged her and she got back to me almost immediately. She appreciated my massege, however she told me she couldn't date me because I am an Atheist (it's listed in my profile). Now I completely understand that a Baptist is not going to want to date an Atheist for religious reasons. This left me feeling like I missed out on someone who I could have been compatible with and she missed out on someone who is virtuous. I realize that most women of the type I am looking for are going to have a religious slant. So is religion a topic I should take out of my profile and save for after the 4th date or am I being a pussy?

    If someone is a Christian they got to be one by either being born into the faith (most likely) or converting. Comparing that to an Atheist who comes from a nonreligious household or who deconverted (like me). The Atheist seems more appealing than the Christian since we will have more in common. A Christian who is consistent is also appealing. An Atheist who is a leftist and a cafeteria Christian are both unappealing to me..

    I too think that a Christian woman who is on the fence is the best prospect there is at the moment. As a side note, I notice an overwhelming number of religious people seem to be living as de facto atheists with no morals.

    I invested a couple of hundred bucks using www.loanbase.com back in February of this year. Long story short I ended up loosing 20% to lenders who defaulted on me. The interest received was about 10% so overall I ended up in the hole. Never again, or not until they introduce a better system to deal with defaults.

Like a vegetarian working at a slaughterhouse -It legitimizes statism -A bunch of votes don't affect the outcome of the election -If you vote you are in a way responsible for the harm/good your candidate causes, and if your side loses, you have to accept being ruled by the other side's candidate because you accepted to participate -If you are doing it because it's the lesser of two evils, you are still choosing evil -No politician is obligated to keep campaign promises -Its a desperate act. A voting anarchist evokes pity and signals a surrender of one's pride. Like a vegetarian working at a slaughterhouse -Voting to reduce the size of the state is like joining the mafia to turn it into a charity
