  1. Feel free to back it up.
  2. Anyone keeping up on this? I got raving mad about the public's reaction. Here they go out on a huge multi-billion dollar limb to give the consumers exactly what they've been begging for and what do they get? A heavy, swift kick right in the balls. https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/why-the-us-is-attackiing-volkswagen/ http://www.autoblog.com/2015/09/21/vw-dieselgate-effect-on-us-diesel/ http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/22/business/the-wrath-of-volkswagens-drivers.html
  3. Yeah, that, too. Met one, another cougar, got drunk and told me, actual quote "it's my turn to be a gold digger". I swear, driving nice cars is the best truth serum money can buy. Want to scare up the cockroaches? Get a new sports car.
  4. Then don't do it. I mean, you're looking for a thousand reasons not to do something. You're not going to do it. Good luck, regardless. As to the specifics: What do you mean infiltrate? Going to a car lot? Ask about the car. Say you're just browsing, if they leave you alone, go to the next lot. Find one who wants to sell you a car even though you're just looking around. It's just shopping. The other places, too, are open to the public. Someone wants to give you a happy-ending, start negotiating. Even if you don't want it, are you being disingenuous if you ask about the menu? I don't know how that is lying, it's interesting to learn about even if you just wanted the knots rubbed out. But even cell phone salesman, guys on the street, mall kiosks... Manipulators trying to take your money are everywhere. This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Go do some on-site work. Even just talking to other people on the street. Go find anyone for practice. Worst case, all you did was meet some people! Pretend to be whatever you want, I don't know what you're talking about. Either you're interested or you aren't. If looking at a car you don't intend to buy seems too manipulative to you, don't do it. If you think so, don't do it. I mean, if you go to a grocery store because it's a good place to meet women, aren't you being manipulative if you go looking to meet women? It's a grocery store, so you should be there to shop for groceries. But that's obviously horseshit. If you want to talk to someone, then do it. If it makes you feel better, you can even tell the salesman you just came to learn about salesmen! So, this 'being manipulative' is just a boogey man that a lot of people, particularly on this board, use as an excuse for inaction. Philosophy is supposed to be a a spoken discipline. Go do it. Probably not, but learning about manipulative people is the goal... I don't know why, that's twice now, this has come up. Finding genuine people is separate from learning about manipulative people. You don't need to go out, find the sleaziest person you can, and start inviting them to BBQ's. The reason salesman are such a great target for this sort of stuff is they're 1) Accessible and 2) You already know their motives. That gives you the low-down on any single one of them and it requires next to no investment. A few minutes, you pick up on shifty eye movement, body language, actual language, tactics with hand shaking, sometimes they do the buddy thing and act like your friend, a lot like to say this 'chief' or 'boss' or 'champ' garbage, belittle you a little, all the things that I'm trying to explain that you have to experience to understand. That's fine, don't do it. If you aren't taking any risks with people, you'll never come across sharks anyway, so it won't be a problem. Or you will, and they'll take you for a ride, and that's another(more expensive & painful way) to learn. I'm not knocking actual life experience, just putting forth an alternative, faster way to learn about people.
  5. Yes. To swim, you can't hang out in the kiddy pool. To lift heavy, you can't play around in the aerobics class. If you want to figure people out as a task, opposed to passive experience, there are ways to do it. We have a very, very corrupt society full of seedy characters. Years, and years, of experience or fast track it and get something done. The thread is how to spot red flags, and how well they can be hidden. Looking for people who don't have them won't help with that. Especially if one is to start from a position of inexperience, or naivete, even. If someone already knows how to spot manipulators, then they aren't part of the topic.
  6. Hookers tend not to accumulate in safe neighborhoods in the US
  7. Everyone sees and ignores the signs. They overlook the flaws for the quick rush. This would be fine, but then where it gets hairy is people want to play make believe about what they've got. Thats the only problem. They want a serious relationship, found someone, ergo, they found a serious relationship. FALSE. It's this "love the one you're with" horseshit. No, never. You know love is an earned trait, along with trust, respect, forgiveness. Assholes will tell you otherwise of course, but fuck them. If you can't tell when someone is genuine, it won't matter if they are or aren't because you can't recognize it. Thats called "gambling". Everyone CAN win at Roulette or slot machines, but its basically all chance. Learn how to spot behavior, when to hold when to fold, then hit the poker table and play a skill game. Otherwise a win was dumb luck. And the only way to get better, is by playing better opponents. Go to car lots and feign interest in nice cars. Find hot sales ladies if you can. Watch the signs, get into their movement. Practice swimming with the sharks and some fishing on the pier will be a cake walk. Or dirty massage parlors, strippers. Hookers if you can find them and not risk your life.
  8. I had a colleague/employer in nearly the exact situation. Didn't go through courts, but didn't offer to help. Just said you owe me money for work performed and you don't get my stamp. The company lost its ass on the project, brought in a stooge to rubberstamp multi-million dollar project, then lost their asses again when the drawings weren't viable. Not quite as formal but similar approach. Also, there are private arbitration companies like the American Arbitration Association that handle such matters. As far as stopping them, the client has to give a shit in order for shame and reputation to work. In this Atlas Shrugged society, its tricky to find those types of people. But until we(can) stop doing business with these bitches its how it goes.
  9. I can't speak for JD but my argument would be that juicing beyond the natural capabilities of your own body is neither fit nor healthy. Strong, muscular perhaps. But meth can make you stronger, too. And momentarily more muscular if like every single one becomes active. Same for the heart attacks. They're probably malnourished or over exert. Nutrient replacement is about as important as anything else regarding exercise and often goes overlooked.
  10. You have? I've never actually even met a Jew. There was one went through a plant I was working at, certifying it as Kosher or some such shit, but I didn't meet him.
  11. I generally go to the local coin shop, get .999 silver rounds and .999 gold quarter oz.'s. $1500 or more at a time but less than $9000. 70/30 split Silver/gold. The silver ends up being whatever, replicas, 2 oz coins, bars even. Gold is usually American Eagles. I don't play markets, or have any deeper strategy to coins. Silver is silver, for the most part. They trade at spot/bid(plus or minus markups) always. Gold has more nuance so I just stick to whatever is most common to keep the guessing game out of it. I don't buy for collector value. It's just s a store of wealth so volatility is my enemy.
  12. Just to piggyback on the previous post, since mello covered about everything I was going to say, there's a video on YouTube where you can see the documentation of reversing desertification using livestock and regrowing naturally occurring grasses. It was linked in another vegetarian thread on this board, as well. Here it is actually. Easier to find than I thought Https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vpTHi7O66pI
  13. If you compare sleeping with women to buying cars, it raises some concern whether or not you've done either.
  14. Book. Movies are hit and miss, way more miss than hit. The first one is actually good on it's own as a movie, if you're into this kind of stuff. From imdb, it seems a number of people thought the second one was the best but I don't know what they were high on when they made that decision. Part 3 is useless. Zero Hank Rearden and all the good action was cut. I saw the 1st movie, first. Then read the book up through half of part 3 and saw part 2. Finished the book a while ago, finally saw part 3 but regret ever having done it.
  15. LOL!!! What did I say? Brave New World. Socialize the pussy. Maybe Lucy Liu-bots and cloning sex slaves would solve the 'conundrum' of voluntary fuckin exchange, perhaps an agreeable 1% tax on snatch across the board. Since apparently voluntary exchange doesn't mean voluntary exchange.
  16. Hmmm... So in hot-as-balls ancient Egypt, which probably meant little clothing, trim and dark was in. But in Europe through whatever their heyday was, 15-18th centuries, when corsets and big ass dresses , with lots of makeup, were cool, fat and pale was the thing. I mean, sure. Big tits and a small waist is always cool. Even through the 50's, it's easy to say curves and weight were cool, because, form altering dresses and bras were stylish. Ancient Greece is a terrible example what with the rampant homosexuality. If fat chicks were so hot, why were so many dudes banging each other? Say, what time period does that remind me of? I feel like this is important... I may be wrong, but all Asian cultures have desired small, thin women for always? Another real big pain in the ass deciphering trends, is with older paintings as proof of what women looked like. They were commissioned by rich people. Rich people naturally don't need to give a shit, they got money. They can eat all they want and still be rich enough to get it whenever they wanted it and the strong nobility/family negotiations took the element of preference out of the equation.
  17. OK, I'll ask it. What are we defining as a privileged group?
  18. I see where you're coming from. I don't necessarily endorse PUA, myself. I just look at 'it' for what it is. I'm sure the practitoners and supporters are all over the map.
  19. I understand that. As a species, I believe, it's put forth that humans are necessarily K from an evolutionary standpoint. That's just how it is with our biology. There may be some underlying animal instincts, but it's like these animal studies always devolve into a series of asterisks because of some 'synthetic' creation of the human race. I mean we're both lizard and monkey. Almost opposite ends of the spectrum, which would be unclassifiable on its face. An exception proving the rule, sure, but an exception none the less. With the R strategy, you've got early sexual maturity, and they don't spend time developing the offspring. I'd wager most PUA's are late starters, or they wouldn't need a support community. And the presence of a community sharing information in itself strikes me as anti-R in the preserving and passing on of information, experience, etc. to the future generations. If the R/K is being used in a sense of reproduction strategy, then I don't see how it can exclude the reproduction aspect? To me, that's ground zero. Are babies being made? If no... It ends right there. Then, if it's behavior, then I don't see the relevance of R/K at all. It's just behavior. And since it's put forth as environmentally and genetically deterministic, I reject it for removing personal responsibility. Humans have the capacity to choose how they carry on. But don't get me wrong. If it makes sense to you, and it's opening new windows and avenues of thought, that's great. I often upvote people on here when it triggers a new thought based on their comment, even if I don't agree with it or debunk it in my mind upon first read. And since I'm probably not going to delve too much further into the R/K, it'll be interesting to see where you take it. I don't think it's stupid or a waste of time, but I don't like pigeon-holing humans as other animals. Basically, the R/K is a footnote in the larger body of works, not the baseline or benchmark.
  20. Well, that's one of the many reasons the r/k fad is just as much fluffy bullshit as the alpha/beta thing. Humans are a little more complex than rabbits, and in fact, if a rabbit had a condom on it was put there by a human. He has 0 kids after 36(?) years alive. How in any way, color, flavor or perception can that be called an r strategy for reproduction?
  21. As far as his reproductive strategy, most certainly K. In fact, all of PUA is I think? It's how to either find decent women amongst the bunch, or how to sleep with the rest of them. It's generally clear that you should not be having kids with the latter.
  22. Which part? But yes. An arbitrary number representing the amount of a chemical in one's blood should not in itself be a crime.
  23. I have a theory on that.. The loyal order of the bearded necks use up their negs for the day on you, sparing me the heavy hand of the little, red number.
  24. Blah blah grammar. Something something wound up. Mumbo jumbo... Semantics.
  25. "My statement was that supporting someone just because they are being attacked by feminism is tribalism. That that is not a valid argument. That is the statement - try not to read into it based on your own bias." Who said that?
