Cryptocurrency Cloud Mining
aviet replied to Mister Mister's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
Mining BTC is a bit like a printing press for the people - low barrier to entry, and thus making money is difficult. Everything I have seen about mining seems to suggest it is unprofitable, chasing profits in the future. The cloud mining firms I looked at a few years ago are now gone. I made the decision to buy instead of mine. I think the only time it would be a good idea to mine is with a new coin that will go up in value and then probably collapse. Your more likely to make money in trading, but since the last Bitfinex hack, which I was caught up in (Goxed also) I have pulled out of Bitcoin. I think its junk. Its been around for 8 years and already about 25% of the money supply has been stolen without restitution. The only real value it has is for making anonymous transactions. The bulk of the dollar price is speculative inflation. If the price of Bitcoin was set by people who are actually using Bitcoin in real transactions, the price would probably be a few dollars. With that said I don't think the BTC speculative bubble will pop until something better comes along, as the interest in crypt is real. Also, as BTC would be grossly deflationary if it was gaining more and more adoption, it would be useless as a currency. -
The description you gave of your father sounds somewhat similar to mine, but I didn't come close to going down the routes you have been down. I would suspect your behaviour would have been moulded more by your mother and your father was not there to put you back on the rails. You don't go into the family dynamics enough to give much thoughts, but it seems to me that you are on the path to healing - looking to understand how you got where you have been and not looking to find out which parent to place the blame on. Could you describe more about your mother?

Leftist Media Going Out With a Bang of Insanity
aviet replied to aviet's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
A few Alexa ranks stumbled across today. Top right is express.co.uk, a British newspaper that was all but dead a few years ago, but has been revitalised with a Trump/Brrexit slant. -
If WW begins and your gov wants you to fight Russians. What will you do?
aviet replied to A4E's topic in Current Events
I hadn't really thought about the foreigner aspect. I'd imagine its probably going to be much worse in somewhere with a low civility rating like Venezuela, but I'd imagine it would be risky anywhere. I'd also not go for Chile, but because I can't be bothered to learn Spanish. This year I bought a furbished and utensil-stocked house in Serbia for about $6,000. The garden is not so big, but it has a well and thirty-tree fruit and nut trees. Next year I am going to go back and fill it full of bulk food, which is very cheap there. In terms of nukes it's the only place outside of The Union State of Russia and Belarus that will likely be safe from Russian and Western nukes. Other than that it has similar qualities to Chile, better in some areas, worse in others. I'm not sure how being a foreigner would go down, but that my house is remote and that Serbia has a good food security and agrarian knowledge, that would make it less dangerous than being in densely populated Britain. If Trump is elected I will give buying somewhere in the conservative, low-natural-disaster corridor starting in North Texas more thought. For the quality of people and availability of supplies I think its the best bet. I just hope the guys at Ancient Aliens are right and that the Eloheim will intervene in the event of nuclear war. -
Never Trumpers have been having a field-day with the expose that Trump supporting Great America PAC agreed to take an illegal $2m donation. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/10/24/exclusive-investigation-donald-trump-faces-foreign-donor-fundrai/ They didn't bother researching the relationship between Trump and Great America though. Roger Stone has been disavowing them for months: https://twitter.com/RogerJStoneJr/status/735112377226559488 I don't remember if he disavowed in his interview(s) with Stefan, but head him do so in virtually every other interview. Great America PAC is represented by Jesse Benton, the same guy who destroyed Ron Paul's presidential run.

I didn't. Just an opinion of where the best place to avoid global conflict may be. -

Best answer to any question ever. I think that the current talk of war is hot air. Though it does appear that at the highest levels of globalism there is a desire for a global conflict, I don't think this is the time. Overall I think the best place to flee to is Chile: - 10% of Germany's population density - Good farm land - Good growing season - Good agrarian knowledgebase - Relatively cheap - Developed and relatively civil - Good in various indices relating to economics and law - Well out of the way of any likely nuclear targets - Area least likely to be affected/involved in a global conflict Targets and blast zones in Europe (Sarmat): How about for mixed-martial arts cage fights? -
I have a database of over 2.5 billion people, much of it compiled from voter lists, and they all have deceased people in them. The exception is countries with highly integrated indentity systems, which tend to be low-development countries and these countries also have much better protection from election fraud. Removing people from voter lists is a problem and countries typically retire voters who exceed a certain age. 1.8 million deceased sounds a plausible number to me. Since people move around a lot twenty-four million double-state voters also sounds plausible. These stats say more about the antiquated registration system. If there is election fraud, which I expect, it will come from areas with less of a paper-trial. Stamford put out a report showing that in states in the Democratic primaries that had a voting paper-trial 51% voted for Crazy Bernie compared to 65% for Crooked Hillary in states with no paper-trial. I'd imagine this machinery is controlled by the Democratic party. I'm not sure what the control situation is for the presidential election, but I think this would suggest the high watermark would be a 16% fudge. If the controlling party of the state runs things, this could suggest about 8%. I have no idea what it could actually be, but think maybe 3-5%. An example of how much it could be fudged though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hursti_Hack#Hacking_a_Diebold_machine

It seems they only do this in the US and maybe Canada. I'm thinking more on buying somewhere in the U.S. and the availability of preparedness and all manner of other goods is a big factor. If Hillary get in though...

Feminism deflowers the minds of women
aviet replied to Donnadogsoth's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
This is a very interesting analysis. Although you can't sum up the sum drives of all men and women in a few paragraphs, this gives a concise description of some major, current trends. Diverging slightly, the philosophical approach to raising children is possibly the most important aspect of civilisation. The only reason we live like we do now is via the family system through which large amounts of effort are put into bettering the lives of offspring. One of the key differences between modern, Western humans and animals is the collosum of information that is passed on. Feminism has thoroughly assaulted this model with a toxic form of liberalism that says there is no difference between children raised by single-mothers and two parents, there is no difference between a child nurtured by its parents in infancy and a child shoved into childcare with a few minutes of personal attention each day; there really isn't any difference between anything (unless its something that is labeled conservative, such as homeschooling, in which case its bad) so long as a woman is making whatever decision she wants. In true regressive form, all of this ignore reason and evidence liberalism is counteracted by the double-think that the government needs to step in to subsidise situations created the notion that those situations are no different to traditional models of raising children. -
1962 <- "And that's the way it is." 1976 <- "There are questions as to whether Carter is too close to the eastern-sea-board-establishment." 1985 <- "Of course the Federal Reserve is part of the government. It's the FEDERAL reserve!" 1995 <- "They have on their tin-foil hats to stop the mind control rays from the black helicopters." 2001 <- "We must not tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories." 2005 <- "You can't believe everything you read on the internet." 2010 <- "Dangerous ideas have been circling from fringe website, infowars.com." 2012 <- "Some guy, we don't know who he is. He's not a patriot. He's a pinhead." 2014 <- "We've debunked the conspiracy theories of Alex Jones here already." 2015 <- "Didn't we debunk Infowars last week?" 2016 <- "We're debunking Alex Jones every day now. Get your facts checked here!" 2017 <- ? It used to be that the media would not touch anything cooky. Then it was brushed off as sad fantasists reading The Lone Gunmen newsletter. Then it was jokes about tin foil hats. Then it was the slurs of conspiracy theorist. Then it was making things up to assassinate individuals. Then it was brushing words off with the most cursory of glances. Then the words had to be more critically 'debunked'. Then debunking became a common affair. Then a mainstay. I think we're now at a point where the mainstream and alt-media are addressing each other more or less evenly. It used to be them debunking our conspiracy reallies. Soon we won't even be aware what their conspiracy theories are.

Also came across this while looking for data: Interesting to see that out-of-wedlock births are probably down about 10%. I think 2007 really was the year when the line between r and k was crossed.

I was crunching some number today relating to trends in US states, when I got distracted on what trends there are with abortion. I used data on voter registration, as I thought this would give you a better idea of emphaticism for a given party. The results show a very strong correlation between abortion and the Democratic party. The four states with a 25% surplus of Democrat voters, also made up four of top five for abortion rate. When there are democratic states with a low abortion rate, they are in the bible belt. There is not such a great correlation between registered Democrats and children born out of wedlock, but that is somewhat offset by the Democrat state's abortion rates. Births out of wedlock are lowest among middle-income states. Abortions are lowest among low-income states. Wyoming is the gold-standard of protecting the poorest and most vulnerable people in society. Achieved with a moral compass, not with the government. They seem to have bypassed the marching phase and gone straight to assaulting police officers and throwing grenades.

I thought similar. They seem to be similar to the Christian-conservative, stay-at-home, homeschooling types in that they want the man to be in control of resource gathering, but there it seems to largely end. While the above stay-at-home mother would make it known and seek to bring value in terms of nurturing, tutoring and other tasks, the princess does not want those responsibilities, or any others. They just seem to demand resources out of virtue of their perceived attractiveness and anything that is to be reciprocated is at their discretion. From my small knowledge into this world it seems to be connected with fathers, who seems to be good bread-winners that spoil their or a daughter(s). One of the most extreme expressions of this appears to be the phenomena of rinsing, in which attractive women seduce men and drain them of resources like being put up in an apartment, expensive jewelry, cars, etc., but they will never engage in any type of physical relationship.

Let's play a game called Count The Non-Arguments/Fallacies
aviet replied to Mullerick's topic in Current Events
Since when did GQ transition from being a Melania Trump tit 'n bum mag to an spout of virtue? "You really think he will give you a better job? More money?" This is not provided in any real context. But the best is: "nearly every individual thing Trump says he is lying, distorting rationalising..." -
I agree with all your sentiments. If you post one of these, I'm pretty sure you would find a prospect a bit closer to home: https://board.freedomainradio.com/topic/47910-females-click-here-now/

I have all that stuff already. I just want some of this multi-year shelf-life stuff as a real emergency backup. As mentioned, my main food supplies have ran down to about 1kg of protein powder, about 12kg of rice, 7 litres of pasta sauce, 7kg of sun-dried tomatoes, 3kg of cacao and a few other small items. Part of the reason I have let it run down is because I don't live in one place. Everything I buy is organic and I've had a few things infested by weevils as a result. That happens after about 12 months in some cases. Other things like pasta sauce don't have a great shelf-life; though I imagine you could be quite liberal with eating after the expiration date. But I completely agree, this sort of food purchasing is the best idea. I only eat bulk, organic food and spend quite a lot less on food than most people as a result. On top of that I don't loose 1-3 hours a week food shopping.

The most important of all is to absolutely and 100% refuse to ever become depressed. Depression is a choice. How old are you? I experienced something similar many years ago. If you are going down the route of self-reliance, not blaming other people, having a philosophical approach to life, you are probably on to a winner. At thirty, it is clear to see how people who have rejected some or all of this ballpark are unhappy losers who shift responsability, "I'm like this because of my mother." "I'm like this because of the bloody TORRIES!" "I just want to have fun." (while not having fun) And so on. I can't think of the names of any of the videos, but one thing I have heard Stefan mention in several videos is that there are people around you who only want to be around you so they can at least be equal. If you start excelling away from them, they will pull you down. Think socialism. One of the videos this was covered in was a video with a woman who married a man (I think an FDR listener) and moved with him to Australia and her friends at the time were not happy as she was essentially trading up out of their circle. A message from Ben Shapiro.

What did you buy from here? In the US you can get 12 month, 2,000 calorie a day, 25-year freeze-dried food for at least $2299. I've seen a 12 month supply for $800, but not sure what the calories are off the top of my head. At a glance this seems to be the same sort of stuff you will find in the UK, where you will be paying about $5,000 for a genuine 12 month supply.

I've had little contact with these people and was interested in hearing the deductions of anyone who might have.

I wonder if Leo will be using an inordinate numbers of sparsely patronised private jets to travel to the eco-crimes he will quash or will he fly by the power of his increasingly chicken-winged arms and legs? It could potentially be a very short film. Leo gets on his plane to stop a man in Harrogate using an electric juicer to juice a lime, but consequently has to apprehend himself for inappropriate use of private jets. For me there is virtually no one I take less seriously than celebrities who are so thoroughly removed from the realities of the average life and saturated in divorces, affairs and string-along **** monkeys. Not to mention barring black people from the Oscars. I think Captain Planet was a major part of my reactionary, leftist indoctrination as a child. A few years ago I said to a recoiled-spring socialist that I thought that Captain Planet had been produced as United Nations propaganda. He kicked and screamed in anger at this suggestion. Turns out it was written by UN apparatchik, Babs Pyle and UN billion dollar donor, Ted Turner, a man so concerned about the environment that he lives the lifestyle of a decadent king and uses his largest private real estate in the US bonanza to undertake the important task of mass-producing the most environmentally-destructive meat. If these people all had themselves vasectomised, shunned air travel and barred themselves from committing their bird-brain words to paper, people might consider their wailing from their ivory towers.
