Sex and Character by Otto Weininger
RCali replied to Spaceballs's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
"but there is no woman who has surpassed certain circumscribed, not particularly elevated moral and intellectual limits. And, therefore, I must again assert that the woman of the highest standard is immeasurably beneath the man of lowest standard." "The greatest -geniuses, on the other hand, have nearly always been antisemites (Tacitus, Pascal, Voltaire, Herder, Goethe, Kant, Jean Paul, Schopenhauer, Grillparzer, Wagner)" "The Antisemitism of the Jews bears testimony to the fact that no one who has had experience of them considers them loveable – not even the Jew himself" "It cannot be denied (there can be no mistake about it) that Wagner's music produces the deepest impression not only on Jewish Antisemites, who have never completely shaken off Jewishness hut also on Indo-Germanic Antisemites. From the music of “Parsifal,” which to genuine Jews will ever remain as unapproachable as its poetry, from the Pilgrim's march and the procession to Rome in “Tannhauser,” and assuredly from many another part, they turn away" "It would not be difficult to make a case for the view that the Jew is more saturated with femininity than the Aryan, to such an extent that the most manly Jew is more feminine than the least manly Aryan. This interpretation would be erroneous." "The true conception of the State is foreign to the Jew, because he, like the woman, is wanting in personality; his failure to grasp the idea of true society is due to his lack of free intelligible ego. Like women, Jews tend to adhere together, but they do not associate as free independent individuals mutually respecting each other's individuality." "As there is no real dignity in women, so what is meant by the word “gentleman” does not exist amongst the Jews. The genuine Jew fails in this innate good breeding by which alone individuals honour their own individuality and respect that of others." "When men change, it is from within, outwards, unless the change, as in the case of women, is a mere superficial imitation of real change, and is not rooted in their natures" I chose a chapter at random "Judaism" from his book - and the modern translation, as you so advised. Seems like there are no shortage of misogynistic and antisemitic ideas. -
Sex and Character by Otto Weininger

"No men who really think deeply about women retain a high opinion of them; men either despise women or they have never thought seriously about them." It's right there on the first post. Just one of many thoughts of his you can easily find. -
Sex and Character by Otto Weininger
RCali replied to Spaceballs's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
I'm more curious about his past. What led him to hate and fear women such, and that he would associate Judaism with the female sex, in terms of how lowly he qualified them. I'm more curious about the reports of him having never smiled or laughed. Does anyone have stories on his background? -
WAKE UP: Warmongering West is on the war path again!
RCali replied to laowai's topic in Current Events
How can a criticism be evasion? And, if I were part of the state, I would kick them out of Europe. All the countries. But, alas, I'm not, and will never be. If there was anarchy, I'd ostracize them. -
Ouch! Perhaps Bill Gates should call in:)

I do believe you're in the wrong forums, and the "reputation" feature seems to agree with me. You constantly put words in people's mouths, you assume of them without reason, and I do believe it's safe to say you insult many, ignoring their words when actually said. You provide lies, bad and non arguments, and logic constantly fails you. You speak many times of mysticism, gods and demigods, and superhumans, as if such truly existed. You just seem to spew all sorts of nonsense, just like the common sheep, but you've got a few more words under your dictionary. And, my, do I hate that you believe that adding a title to every post you make with bold font brings you closer to a Shakespeare drama. -
You wouldn't steal a car...
RCali replied to Koroviev's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
Wasn't it "download a car"? I've seen this so much being advertised in cinemas, and I would always think... Yes... Yes I would download a car! In fact, I would download lots of them! And I would download the most beautiful there are! -
Honesty isn't the opposite of reservation. You aren't dishonest if you tell someone you don't want to share some information. You are dishonest if you share fake information. And I do understand you can't be blamed for someone else's incident. But, taking your example of car driving, I'll what happened with my licence aquiring. I had classes with this guy, and eventually went to the exam. The examining guy started asking questions I had no idea he would ask, and it didn't go so well. It's my fault, that I didn't look up what exactly what they could be asking, but partly because of my intructor's words. He said I was completely ready. I trusted him, and, of course, I will partly blame him. He's not responsible for my failure, as that was my actions, but he's responsible for his negligence. And that's indirectly related to how I failed. I can't say that was an appeal to emotion, but one to other stories which very well represent the value many hold of truth. You said «"Honesty is a virtue" is something that dishonest people try to spread to lower resistance against their predation.» Well, if that were true, those who died defending truth, who gave their very lives so it could live on in stead of them, they were liars. If what you say is true, what I'm trying to do here, which is to make a case for honesty being virtuous, would be lying, and I would be a predator. No, this isn't right. I do want to spread honesty being virtuous for my own benefit, but so would anyone else who practices good, for it is preferable for people of good to have their actions know by all.
-
Comparing honesty to property seems weird to me, as it is not only yours, but whom you share those words with. They may originate from you, but if you tell someone of something and they take it as truth, you may have lead someone to do a very bad action, and it's indirectly your responsability. A very bad action, as to say, they may have wasted their money, they may have wasted their time, they may have wasted someone, they may have gotten wasted... Is it not universally preferable to tell the truth? Did not Irwin Schiff die for the truth? How many scientists have died for it, in the past? Religious figures? Were they all wrong?

I'm yet to see you write anything based on reason, and I've read quite a few of your posts. Islam is evil from it's core, to its very edge, but there are people among that culture who are yet to commit any imorality. -
That's great. Hope you have a great life with your new family and do spread the virtue to whom you are closest. And when there are no more, spread to whom is far.

Thank you for the comments, I'll read those books. Jaken, I must say I don't quite understand why you enphasize so much on the "small" in business. I surely don't intend to be small forever, but that's what the reality will be in the beginning. It will be a local business of direct bread selling, either in the store, or deliveries to homes. That's the idea, for now. I'm not sure how possible it would be for the business to be large and maintain extremely high quality. I'd rather have a smaller business (in terms of facility size, and how many employees there would be) and the quality be at a supreme level. But when quality can be assured, expansion will definitely happen.

Hello, fellow intelligent and intellectually driven virtue persuing posters and listeners of FDR. Here, I will be asking for your knowledge regarding business, as is made obvious in the title. I will be opening a bakery, with the goal of offering the best of products, that would make people moan when they taste them, and make good profit out of it. In the long run, perhaps open a chain of such high quality providers. And, though, my taste buds are quite sensitive, I know barely anything of business, and have less experience. So I come ask of you, who may have experience or knowledge thorough studying, or both, to share it with me. I've been researching the internet, and these forums, and have some good things to read, but it's never too much. Tell me your stories, books to read, articles, etc, the sky is the limit. Thank you for your attention. Cheers!

I'm sorry for that, dsayers. But it's good to see how much you've gotten along since those times. You're likely the smartest poster in this forum, and it's always good reading your words.

Free Republic of Liberland, a new libertarian micronation

Seems like a fantasy, after a short read on wikipedia. No nation recognizes this "Liberland", including Serbia or Croatia, and that guy keeps getting arrested.- 24 replies

Call me a weirdo, but the first thing that came to mind, watching that chart, was: there's a whole bunch of herpes on the bottom of the chart.

Just like Lars here, I do not enjoy body mods, at all. In fact, I see it as a hint for not wanting to persue a person with one. It can be associated with low confidence, and I've heard, long ago, but never really looked into it, that people who modify the body are more likely to have emotional disburbances. And just one of those things, that they would worry about their appearance over their wisdom and virtue.
-
What I still consider more strange is not that people enjoy watching stupid crap like those shows, but that they find those ugly whores physically atractive. That one to the left, on the first picture, looks like a horse who had its face punched in. The one in the middle looks like a fat defective goth barbie doll who had one too many facial surgeries. All of them look like sad clowns who need to use paint and plastic surgeries to feel like they're worth anything. Slutty dresses, covering their faces in make up, doing anything for fame, thoroughly trashy behavior. Oh, yes, that's definitely the kind of woman I want to marry.

Voter turnout among the younger gen
RCali replied to powder's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
For me, it surely was the constant propaganda. I always knew that everything the state offered was trash, but it absolutely never came to mind that so many things taught at school were complete lies. After all, pretty much everyone goes there, and my family put me there. Must be trustworthy... Right...? Global warming was very real for me, among many other things I now know are garbage. -
Very good! That's something to be proud of. Hope everything goes well from here on.

Voter turnout among the younger gen
RCali replied to powder's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
I can speak of my own experience: I'm 23, and before, I argued for the left, before seing how silly and immoral it actually was, partially with FDR's help. I did consider who to vote, in my teen years, and in the first 2-3 years of adulthood, but there were none worthy of my approval. None were trustworthy, none did the job well, none held truth as more important than their careers, or dare I say, lives. I did argue for the left, and even for some communist ideals. I thought everyone having equal opportunities would be the most fair of all to apply to the world, and I did seek one who would follow with that. But there were none of trust, none who cared about the ideals over the vote and money. I wanted to be a part of the democracy, but there was no leader, only manipulators. Never believed anyone. Not who my family voted for, not who mostly everyone voted for, so I never went to the booths. Aside: for anyone curious, Portugal now has no parties with parliamentary seats on the right. It's 100% leftists, or according to what they say some "right who defends social state". Edit: oh, and only 55% of the people voted. -
Sounds like something heavy metal bands would use.

From what I'm finding, reading the Quran, there's not much room for interpretation. There are many contradictions, yes, but in "chop off the heads of the infidels and wrong-doers" there isn't much room for consideration.

To be clear, it's the reverse of "hit your children". It's a lesson teaching the consequences of violence. Is this correct?
