Don't get me wrong, I have sympathy for you but how do you plan to find a friend if you spend time with only a few people? I don't think so. There are few good friends at the top of the pyramid, then more semi close friends and many acquaintances. Those come and go. But they are the people that can become semi close or good friends. By having few acquaintances the chances of one of them 'moving up' is pretty slim. For every good friend there are a lot of people on the periphery you know but don't care about. Not at all. Man is a social animal.

That may well be. None of them works.

I know the pseudolegal bs the sovereign try at court doesn't work becasue there are a lot of videos showing how they got owned and no evidence that it does.
-
You are aware that these pseudolegal theories don't work, right?
-
Where did you hear that?

And why is that important?

Did the crash of 2008 lead to hyperinflation? No. Stock crashes lead to deflationary periods, all other things being equal.- 27 replies

What about them? Still no clue what you mean.

Read "200 Years Together". It's the prequel to GA, but very hard to find for some reason.

Gold as money (as one medium of exchange) was used for a long time before it was used as currency. The first to use it as currency was Croesus who enforced the use of gold and silver as money as a means to pay taxes. He got famously rich because he already had large portions of silver and gold and could use coins to buy stuff with a mark up and pay his soldiers relatively cheaply. -
I have no idea what you are trying to say.

Sure, it was an example that it can be done. But then again how do you know that a machine has consciousness? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_room

Neurons behave in a causal way. They don't fire at will, only when there is an impulse. There is no reason to think that this can't be simulated.

This assumes that there is a blank slate where people can actually progress, independent of their innate abilities. If you combine the Maslow Hierarchy with Kohlberg and Piaget you will notice that self actualisation is quite rare and largely dependent on IQ.

The time for a political reform of the system is long gone.

Yes. Once Non Asian / Non White people are the majority of a country the country is doomed. The best that Trump can do is to slow down the immigration of Non Whites to give the US a bit more time to deal with problems related to immigration.

Well no. It's a lot more complicated. There is a reason 'The Sleepwalkers' is such a lengthy book yet can only stay at the surface level.

You think that's absurd? Hold my beer... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/aug/08/chinese-tourist-who-lost-wallet-in-germany-ends-up-in-refugee-shelter

I would like to see some reference for that.

I have really enjoyed the Bioshock series and Final Fantasy Tactis. The latter is more sophisticated than most what you hear about philosophies in schools or universities.

All you need to do to troll other people is to confront them with facts that contradict their worldview. That alone causes negative emotions. Furthermore, it doesn't change your opponents positions but makes them stronger. It's explained here http://theoatmeal.com/comics/believe in detail.

So how do you complain the rise in temperature in some parts of the graph?
