  1. There is a way to monetize without advertising. It's through upselling some other service. This is a model many Internet businesses use. They offer a free service and use it to build a base of potential customers to sell some paid service to. I think Stefan only sees advertising and pay per download as the only way to monetize, although to be fair, he does offer premium podcasts for subscribers. I think there are other upsells he could make. Eventually have paid private sessions for example.
  2. I don't have a car. And the south shore schedule would get me there late. I'm not sure it would be worth me going.
  3. Promote and rsvp on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/events/286766414825199/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming
  4. I just noticed this. Let's plan another one for anyone still interested who couldn't make this. These need cross promotion on Facebook and Meetup and anywhere else appropriate. We need to compile a list of potential people and contact info. Anytime there is an event each person can be contacted and info posted in places where it will be seen. I am trying to get some events going in NW Indiana. I am still figuring out this whole promoter skill. I think I have to figure it out enough until I attract a person better at promoting. https://www.facebook.com/events/231237587074076/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming

  6. I am interested in a meetup too. I have been wanting to organize something for. A while but haven't been in a position to. If you organize something I will go if I can make it.
  7. "Where there isn't a state, whoever has the most violent power determines who gets the stuff" The argument here is that without a state, things that are currently done by those claming state power would be done by someone. The myth of those with state power serving everyone in some egalitarian collective way is needed for this to make any sense.
  8. I don't think copying another's work is immoral, but it can be an asthetic issue. And I'm not sure where the asthetic line is. The more I learn, the more I realize people are copying others. Those who are being copied have copied others. If we didn't copy, knowledge would not advance.
  9. What is the line between plagarism and speaking an idea as one's own even though it was copied from someone else. Is there any? Stefan sometimes repeats things others have said without giving attribution. Would he consider this plagiarism? Is it different because it is spoken? I don't know of all the times he has done this, but what comes to mind now is he quoted verbatim some of Tom Woods's work in Meltdown without citing Woods. He also copied much of Dave Champion's work on Treyvon Martin. He did add a citation in his YouTube description after Champion complained.
  10. I have noticed that a common theme in those who oppose a free society is to project scare fantasies that are what already exists in reality. The fear that someone will just claim to own a vast tract of land without making a valid claim is in reality what already exists. Since those who claim state power have claimed vast tracts of land without doing anything to make their claims valid. A parallel list of these scares and the current reality supported by the state would be useful.
  11. My life has been shaped largely by social anxiety and the resulting behavior habits that have resulted. I have found the podcasts on this topic useful in sorting out this problem for me, but I was thinking it might be useful for others to have a compilation list of all of these shows. I know it is a huge problem with people drawn to these ideas, and it is something that will hold back these ideas. Some may need to be cropped from larger call in shows. I think I will edit this original post with the list. Add known episodes. Include times if known of relavant conversations.
  12. Accept Western women for what they are. Have some fun with them, but don't get caught seeking a family with them. That can lead to great disappointment. Some do want marriage and children, but leave the pursuit of that commitment entirely up to them. It is their job to sell a man on commitment. It is a man's job to sell them on his sexual attractiveness and comfort.
  13. Make bittorents of all versions.
  14. Then he can find himself someone 27 years younger.
  15. I think I remember a similar conversation multiple times and more than a couple months ago, but not sure.
  16. I should try to claim disability. I'm not a cop, but I'm sure there is some Social Security I could get.
  17. There is a lot missing to this woman's claims. Power differential is very important to consider. I know I do a lot of the things she describes because I am tense with social anxiety. I have worked on reducing it and have a lot. I am very much convinced that the state is an institution to re-victimize traumatized people. I got social anxiety from trauma, and cops trigger it greatly.
  18. It's hard to care about people from a position of weakness. And you are weakened by your inability to express yourself to people who will listen. I refreshed my memory by checking the YouTube video you referenced. Did you ever look into materials to help with what you were asking about?
  19. I'm not sure if I have listened to this one. I know I have listened to others on lack of motivation, and I find the topic useful. I doubt he would have taken your call and posted it later if it was a waste. Lack of motivation is a common problem. Some refuse to acknowledge it. If those commenters are dismissing your experience, they are dismissing you and don't have judgements of you that are worth considering. I think learning who to be emotionally cold toward is a useful skill. Some may disagree with that. I may be wrong. I know I repress a lot of emotion. I also don't feel safe expressing emotions. I was recently doing some work for a woman who told me that she has never seen me express a single emotion. I thought that was a bit odd since I feel them very much. Emanuel, were you attacked and shamed for expressing problems and emotions as a child?
  20. Women are good at fogging out unpleasant memories. The sex was awful, so it didn't count in their mind.
  21. What does it say about the human species as a whole when female fertility begins the downward trend before the brain is fully formed? The free society is made up of memes just as any society is made up of memes. Males are more likely to think up these memes and spread them to women, and women are more likely to transmit these memes to children. Brains that have hardened off are not very likely to be open to the ideas of a free society and voluntary family. There is this constant question of where are the anarchist women? If you want to try to find older ones or make older women into anarchists, you are setting yourself up for frustrating failure. Call it sexist if you want, but men need to spend some time getting themselves together so they have some leadership qualities and then they can attract women who will be much more accepting of these ideas if the guy is more attractive. Unattractive men are typically the ones drawn to libertarianism. The only way to change this is for them to become attractive, and this takes years. People make decisions based on emotion, and social conformity is the leading factor in deciding. Women have little motivation to think about nonconformist ideas. Men who have been excluded from the mating pool are more open, since they have already been rejected and have nothing more to lose. If they actually end up learning how to become attractive, they will draw in women. Men often do become attractive into their 30s.
  22. Why is it that a 16 year old girl can decide to date a 16, 17, 18 (or whatever the range you people approve of), but she is unable to decide to date someone older? What if the younger guy is also attractive? What about the guys who are fortunate enough to reach the 10,000 hours of mastery on a subject by their late teens? Attractiveness is about more than resources to a 16 year old. Perceived status and attitude are more important. I don't get why this guy in his late teens is somehow much more trustworthy. Why can't they both grow in maturity even though they are over a decade apart in age? For those who are open to expanding their minds, younger can be far preferable. Older people can become hardened off due to rationalizing past mistakes. Women who have repeated the cycle of abuse are not going to be open to questioning the ethics of parent-child interactions. What if Stefan were to take this whole emotional maturity argument to philosophical teaching too? It could be argued that he is exerting power over anyone under 40 due to them not understanding whatever it is that he has developed into. He has a stronger verbal ability and therefore will be taken as speaking truth. Maybe I am being exploited by him since I was born more than a decade before him. Also, the biology of it is most definitely a relevant consideration. We are gene reproducing machines in addition to our higher cognative humanness. We cannot ignore all aspects. There is a reason that females shut down in their 40s and males can keep on going as they push the century mark. Get angry at biology if you want. I think it's nice that a few of you (Stefan and maybe a few others on here) developed on a more healthy trajectory. But most men do not. The idea of dating as a teen for me is extremely foreign. It is one of the things that bothers me about ever having children. It is a stage of life that I do not understand. I think at this point I would just be very hands off which seems a bit negligent.
  23. I know for a fact that Stefan gets off regularly by sticking lighbulbs up his ass and farting them into illumination. Any statements to the contrary are filthy LIES!
  24. The type of show its likely intent must be considered. Are they attempting to make him look foolish by manipulating the conversation? Or are they actually curious? Maybe someone like Stossel would be a bit more fair.
  25. This sounds so sad. I feel bad for you. How did you end up in this situation? I see one of the benefits of younger people bringing a youthful perspective and energy to things. It sounds like you have none of that. You don't even have children to bring that perspective. In many ways health and youth is a state of mind. Thinking young and acting you keeps you younger.
