Today is The (UN's) International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, June 4. All violence and abuse cause outrage, horror and condemnation of abuser, and sympathy for the victims, especially if children are involved. There was abuse, violence and neglect before, but this problem was less discussed. 'Beating' children was and sadly in majority still is considered as 'educational method', which it of course is not. The problems of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, are often hidden and kept secret. This is one more opportunity to spread non-violent, peaceful, philosophical parenting. Author (Kathleen Taylor, Oxford) claims people 'radicalised by cult behaviours' could being treated as mental health sufferers. Techniques that would help curb this are already in the process of development. These could also be used to stop parents hitting children . Congratulations on that. Commendable journey indeed. What I would propose, if you're interested, is to write down your journey, feelings and things that helped you or were decisive for you. I heard in a recent podcast, that people can not remember anymore what it was like to be an statist and have some difficulty to empathize. Same is with me... Yea, it is kinda funnny. I am still up like 1200% in the past few months. The recent media attention did bring in a lot of new adopters and speculators driving up the price very quickly.
