Some good history books that don't have a Revisionist tinge are: The Arabs: Journeys Beyond the Mirage(it's a mix of history & current affairs), The Persian Puzzle & Wars of Empire.

For capital you could put a means to an end. You said it wrong it's currency is money but not all money is currency. I think valuations would be fine unless something else is brainstormed. I'm saying you get a Hayekian Triangle with the divisions in the order of goods & you add colors from the capital color wheel to illustrate what types out capital are used at each stage of the production process until the final stage of consumption is reached.- 41 replies

I think it's the simple fact that the Fascists were militarists while the socialists weren't so much they weren't bent on direct conquest but through indirect subversion through worker consciousness & stuff like that. Honestly idk what the hell people are thinking but I will say that Communism has never occurred in the world the only things that have been tried & failed are State Socialism & State Capitalism under both of which many political ideologies fall except Communism, Anarchism, Voluntarism, Statelessness etc.

Your definition of capital is to broad & misses the mark. The source of exchange/interaction is the Action Axiom(Humans act, humans have many preferences & humans have a variety of resources to achieve their ends) Capital can be the means to the end(human preferences). But capital can also be the result of human action, example: Robinson Crusoe is picking berries at a rate of 20 an hour which costs much of his time. Therefore he decides to build a stick that would increase his rate to 40 an hour. So his end was making a stick & the means were twigs & such. So I think you need to change your definition of Capital. Also you need to flip inter & intra cause you mixed them up. Inter is within & Intra is outside. Currencies cannot be used as the measurement because they are a specific form of money i.e. paper bank notes, coins etc. Other than that I think this is pretty good, what I see in my head is a color wheel that shows the different types of capital & in between each you show a new form that mixes between the two bigger forms. Then it could possibly be combined with the Hayekian triangles to illustrate what kind of capital is used at each stage of the production process.- 41 replies

Instead of labeling ourselves as Anarchists we could use either Voluntarists, Agorists or Autarchists.

Here are 3 fantastic games two of which made me cry: The Walking Dead: The Game (This one made me breakdown in tears & if you've played it you will know why) Unfinished Swan(Very visually pleasing game along with a very stimulating audio experience & a story that will blow you away) Journey(This was hands down the best game I have ever played in my entire life, it is gorgeous, the sound design is Unparalleled & the story is really heart warming. I cried a little at one point during this game & if you play it you will know when.) These three games really drag you into the experience with really lovable & relatable characters that you will get attached to.

This was a very surprising thing to find out & shocking. Not that I see anything wrong with people's lifestyle choices but you never know what you will find out about people you don't really know. http://m.scotsman.com/news/john-maynard-keynes-bisexuality-ballerinas-and-brilliance-at-economics-too-1-1138050 "Yes, yes, he was one of the fathers of modern theoretical macroeconomics, but it cannot be overlooked that Keynes's sex life was pretty wild. His early romantic relationships were almost all with men – his diary lists 50 gay affairs between the ages of 18 and 33, ranging from Bloomsbury Set painter Duncan Grant and writer Lytton Strachey to a boy who operated the lift in a London Tube station. But then he amazed all his friends by falling in love with a 38-year-old Russian ballerina, Lydia Lopokova, right, and marrying her in 1925. It was, it seems, a genuine love match. Robert Skidelsky, Keynes's biographer, says: "Sexual relations certainly developed, and by 1924 Lydia was appreciative of Maynard's 'subtle' sexual technique."

I think your taking it to the extremes, the grape is not a capital good it is a final good however the human body can be considered a capital good.

Your definition of Capital is applicable in certain circumstances not all.

Things that I was taught in school that just ain't so.

Yea i'm glad that I'm graduating & next Friday I will have made it out of the gulags. They just teach so much bullshit & then when you call them on it you get in trouble. -
Same, on some of my posts I get down voted for no apparent reason & whoever down voted doesn't explain why they did.
-
Fair enough but I think there should be an addon to the down vote where you can explain why you down voted the post.
-
Organized Ostracism. What would be the objective guidelines for such a thing? But what if the people who want to engage get down voted & are cast out most of the time for no apparent reason?

It's amazing how people have been trying to link video games to gun violence & psychopathy. It's utterly ridiculous & it's like they have nothing better to do. Instead of scapegoating video games they should try & understand the real causes of violence.
