  1. I've had that problem with certain foods. Maybe that's a coping mechanism: it's easier to recover from bad food than bad humans. On the other hand, maybe I should try throwing those little pink PeptoBismol tablets at certain people and see what happens.
  2. What was that?...it looks like the whole thing is staged, with the camera work.
  3. I did watch the video, and there's a lot going on, true. Why would anyone sweep the floor? I forget if that was in an episode. Possible answers: Somebody broke the Roomba. They are only capable of sweeping, for some brain reason. They are disgusted with high falutin' thinkers and it's meditative, and they occasionally find futuristic paper clips. It gives them something to do with a little exercise, since everything else is automated, and there's a line at the holodeck. They can eavesdrop. AS to scooter vs. starship: Try to get some private time with a starship. Try to take a starship into a forest. Try to feel the breeze in your face with a starship. Maybe someone is NOT an ego case. Who would build/maintain systems?: Who builds cars more and more--machines. Yes it sure seems like a lot of humans on those starships under construction, but as a fraction of the population, it must be tiny. I note this video of small drones assembling something: Two Drones Build A Working Rope Bridge [VIDEO]
  4. The Star Trek humans are not evolved or genetically reengineered (at least not to that extent). To have an IQ like that...avoiding for the moment the definition...troublemaking emotions would have to be vastly curtailed, and that is no longer a human species, however the individual.
  5. Maybe he just likes the opportunity to speak his mind honestly, when nearly all other politicians speak pander lies. (Panderfaust!)
  6. OH boy, no pandering in this interview... Was Ahmed Mohamed arrested because he is Muslim? - Al Jazeera English And what did the clock look like?: Handcuffed for Making Clock, Ahmed Mohamed, 14, Wins Time With Obama - The New York Times Like a friggin' dry run for a suitcase bomb, is what it looks like. He milks his heritage for sympathy, and even Scumbama ("the man with no discernible ethical core") is gonna ride this pony.
  7. Thanks for the link. Someone is quoted as saying fraud in science is "rare." I disagree! 2 top medical journals claim medical research half false - Current Events - Freedomain Radio Message Board
  8. All those occupations could be replaced by automation. A doctor is basically a human database with a range of sensor ability. Engineering is all about math, even checking the ground to be built upon. Scientists do what?...pursue questions, which like themes in novels, are limited in category, just tweak the particulars. Also, by that time in the future, most questions would've been asked already. Software, which is originally guided by all the human insight available, could easily see most questions. And carry out the research without supervision. Even artistic insights could be largely placed into categories, being that a human thought process is accessing data that is commonly available, then sorts it through various geometric or emotional intrigues.
  9. It got me very nearsighted. Tho' I can fix really tiny things. The Dr. Patrick video is very high value.
  10. Europe has land with water and trees and the mideast in general doesn't. One stinkin' desert swapped for another. The other big reason is the cultural differences, which are well discussed here and elsewhere. Europe is compassionate, and will cram refugees in between the places already occupied by those native locals who don't have a say in it. Gulf states point out their border guards.
  11. Yes, that was harsh in it's way. Probably should've been saved for a database of unwanted observations. I was a blubbery youngster, so it felt vetted as it were. And it's all personal taste anyway.
  12. Tough one to pin down. It's true that male/female tend to have different interests and skills, but that's sort of surface. Where I'm coming from is that a woman generally should be born with a certain amount of potential charm...heck, doggies generally manage that...but arrogance or meanness or dishonesty kills it. Character in this case means that the ego is not the supreme motivator. Maybe it's like saying a sunny day is one without overcast; the sun is already there, just don't obscure it. I have a vague memory of a day camp at young age. There were a male and a female instructors, and I was strongly drawn to each without any intellectual element, pure innate response. I'd say they both had similar character...in my very limited sample...in that they both struck me as kind and honest and genuine. I didn't have the vocabulary for that, then, but was purely reactive to their essence. I was assigned the male, who was fine, but I was drawn to the female. (Both male and female healthy elements were grossly missing from my childhood, so each was like an oasis in the desert.) She was a healthy female. Undamaged, honest. Like the unblocked sun, her feminine light simply showed, even if she didn't do much.
  13. I found the thinktwice.com paper, reviewed or not, as very interesting. Seemed pretty solid to me.
  14. What's a turtle in this case? Renaming Los Angeles as Istanbul won't work...once a name's already been taken, you know....
  15. Loose ends: --it's common that military uniforms will have collars with color tabs, showing the branch of service. In WW2 German military, pink was used for motor transport services. Armor was black and pink; in dress uniform, the pink was dominant. I cannot imagine a Tiger tank commander being called a sissy. Waffenfarbe - Wikipedia, Ranks and insignia of the Heer (1935–1945) - Wikipedia --almost twenty years ago, I was working in a wholesale food prep business. Most of the line employees, about ten, were hispanic. (I should interject here, less I should suggest a utopia, that these very cute women would likely meet an hispanic man who knocked them up then split, leaving them with children and increasingly large belly fat. Too bad the innocent are so innocent.) Nicaragua, Costa Rica, unknown others. One thing really struck me: The women, some of them especially, were very feminine. Quite capable, no compromise there. I had NEVER known a feeling like that before. Just standing near (some) of them, I--FELT--GOOD. Simply good, no complications. Nobody was flirting or speaking or anything, no agenda, they were...and I thought about it, what was it? (And yes this is a limited sample, but it illustrates the point.) They are not mean-spirited. They are genuinely respectful! Not brash or haughty or arrogant or fraudulent...ya' know, like most women we see now in Western Civ countries. I had the feeling that if I tried to talk to them about reason and honesty (assuming we spoke the same language), they would listen, not fight! If they didn't know something, they'd admit it without any penalty, not lie and lie and lie. Take away the crap, and what's left is (okay, might be) feminine. So I'd broadly define feminine as being decent in character, and having not-awful looks. If you are a girl, and don't fuck it up, then you are by default feminine...even better if you were raised by such, good luck on that. The catch is to not fuck it up, and this culture is utterly deadly. It's about the spirit of the woman. Is she a jerk? Another example: in town there is a weekend outdoor market, and the Vietnamese food stand is primarily run by an adult woman, who is stunning. She has good features, but features without character are just empty yuck. It's her character that shows, and she didn't really do anything, just took money and gave back food. She seems to me to have not been raised in this country, or if she came over when young, the women raising her were from the old country. She has two teen daughters, raised here, and they show nothing of that character. The grandmother is working more towards the back, see her less, maybe doesn't speak English, and she seems honorable to me in her quietness, not diminished. Just the feeling I get. I have discussed this with a USA man who has travelled to SE Asia and Central America, seriously a backwoods, off the beaten track traveller, meets women en route from yet other countries. His words over one lunch were "American women are trouble, they're nothing but trouble." (As he threw his partly eaten taco down to his plate in disgust.) Boy, did that resonate. I have been in the non-sexual company of an attractive housemate who I went to dinner with. Dress and heels, and a real looker, I felt pretty jazzed up to just be seen with her. Yet, inside, she has characteristics that serve the Devil, details aside, the topic is very well covered here re ego vs honesty. Doesn't matter who gets hurt, just don't admit being wrong. Western woman in a nutshell. So if I were to date...and I'm not...I now see those female clothes as facade hiding dishonor. Too bad about that, doesn't have to be that way. Feminine? It's Character Character Character Character. EDIT: the house next door is being extensively remodeled, and the owners and workers are all Mexican or other hispanic. Pleasant people. I saw painters show up, and might need some work in a couple of years, so over the fence I asked for a card, of a young female who I saw up on the ladder doing detail prep. She was polite, as any business contact might be, but it was more...that Old Spanish gentility, is that what I'm sensing? Seriously, those mere seconds made a vastly better impression on me than years of sloshing through "whitey girl" crap. Like it was core, not facade.
  16. Search "carbon billionaire" and read about Al Gore and his henchmen with shady connections.
  17. It's a definition issue again: curvy yes, blubbery no. If it hangs or folds, and it ain't mammary or butt, that's blubber.
  18. Wow, your first line surprised me. Keeps me on my toes. A year or two ago I first saw a link, maybe at FDR, which explained red/blue pills, the movie reference. But I'd been learning a lot before that, so it's less a red pill than a red I.V. drip. I'd been married for many years, divorced some years ago. Verbal abuse, drove away two sets of neighbors with it, not me just making it up. Tried dating, not in the best circles to be sure, real clowns sometimes, but every time I felt more and more in despair at what i was encountering. Finally gave it up several years ago; learned of MGTOW also about a year or two ago. Anymore, I have trouble even looking at women, especially as I'm in a liberal, groovy, town, where rational thought is cause for firebombing. I'm a great looking guy, nice smile, I can make them light up just walking by, genuine. But I can't take it anymore; I see what shallow spineless bullying jerks most of them are. I can't respect most women. Good Lord, look at the pile of empty I.V. bags that I've got piled in the corner....
  19. The thing that struck me was the co-opting of the word. Conservative couples, or just anyone, might be understandably irritated that a word with a solid definition...absolutely meaning a man and woman...was suddenly changed. (Not concerned with good or bad behaviors under that name.) Like somebody built a Ford, but called it a Chevy. It ain't! Give it another name. (My dictionary shows the word marry, from Middle English, was linked to a word which would in English be husband, and originally comes from Mary, mother of Jesus. Didn't know that. Now that opens a can of worms!)
  20. Think of a herd of deer as human analog. The males are all about rational interpretation of circumstances to best defend the herd, can't pretend anything or a cougar will eat somebody; in human males (generalized) this is the imperative to seek the rational and true. The females are most concerned about their place in the herd, for when the winter is bitterly cold, the babies on the edge turn blue and die, and so females have a hardwired mortal fear of even minutely reducing their place in the female pecking order. Larger rationality has nothing to do with it, it's all about being closer to the center of the herd. Where mortal fear is present, any organism will do anything to remove it, and in a hurry or panic too. When that female got away from your immediate presence she was back into that ruthless aspect of nature that we call female. Her mind had no (ahem) choice but to pretend the truth never existed. This is easy to do, since a female herd/tribe animal must immediately be able to dismiss anything, including someone else's dead babies, as immaterial to her (and her young's) immediate well being. Those babies at the edge died, well, they just had to, too bad but not my concern...which is entirely correct in the ruthless natural world. Also, a female who raises young must always feel that THEY ARE CORRECT IN ALL DECISIONS, which is proper when it's about finding good water and food, nesting, avoiding trouble, etc. It's so natural as to be unnoticed. In a deer. But in our society with so much power to corrupt and misinform, this is deadly. I think this is also hardwired. I've not seen this overtly mentioned elsewhere, but I'd say that female pecking order is probably a dominant force in feminism-as-fascism, perhaps THE dominant, for it is the tool...based upon unspoken mortal fear...that can make women en masse do anything. Just lie to them; the fear is afraid to take a chance that it's a lie, will just go along anyway as a reflex towards self-preservation. In the natural world, that worked. But we ain't there no more, no more.
  21. I see endless coaching for girls to know they can run or throw a ball if they really want to, get good jobs, etc., so far so good...but I have NEVER seen anyone tell young girls to honor in themselves Honesty or other forms of intellectual integrity. Which is obvious after a red pill, burp, because there is very little honesty in headstrong feminism or voter pandering. Reactions?
  22. Ooh, ooh, trigger word...I think I'll start a new post about how girls are soooooo coaxed to be good at achievements, but I NEVER hear girls guided by mainstream feminist efforts to be HONEST.
  23. "women have an easy time being satisfied loving each other, even if it is without lesbian experiences." Long ago, a twenties female friend told me "Women's worst enemies are other women." I have seen women online in bursts of honesty repeat as much. I question if corporate and gummint want us to stop breeding...more voters and more consumers. Especially, breeding brainwashed youngsters.
  24. Love it. If borderline starvation is a common problem and struggle, as in much of human history, fat will look good. Like in a rainy climate, a solid roof looks good. In times like ours, fat means lack of self control probably, so looks bad. I think the word fat is not well defined some places here. I saw a link about redrawing gaming female characters, and frankly I thought they looked better filled out. My taste of course, and they were NOT obese, the belly did NOT flop and fold. A heavy woman can't be picked up and moved around for fun, be it quick smooch or something more involved. The difference between picking up a bicycle and picking up a riding lawnmower. One is fun, one is labor. Someone here said they prefer skinny women, which is fine and good, assuming we're talking still healthy. Said they didn't care for the big boobs, and I agree, can we pleeeeasssse get rid of that one. Cutest boobies I've ever seen didn't hang at all. And if you as male found yourself legitimately rescuing a female from a sudden flash flood or such, a lightweight female is easy to lift, the heavy woman will have to drown, despite good intentions. It's very practical at some levels.
