I think PVP and Griefing should be turned on, so that we can practice our peaceful lifestyles in Minecraft. We can regulate ourselves through the NAP. Also, how do you even turn off griefing?

I had this thought the other day. Many people go through parts of the year just masturbating. When people do have a partner, they often engage in non PIV sex acts. As well as gays and lesbians don't engage in PIV sex. So my question is, if the basic form of sex was the only kind possible, how would the world be different? Specifically, it only, feels good if it is PIV and this is the only way orgasm is possible. Would there be more rape? Would there be more prostitutes? Would there be more gold diggers? Unhappy non-straight people? More people trying to make relationships? Let me know what you think.

The first three reasons are basically the same, and basically are erase yourself and live for others. Maybe #5 wouldn't be a problem if they didn't do #1-3

Good thinking, I think a respectable employer would value an employee seeking to make work more efficient. Thanks I apologize on my part for the confusion, thank you.

I would appreciate some hypotheses. Here is a map of the world by IQ: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7e/IQ_by_Country.png It seems that generally the further away you are from the equator, the smarter you are. My hypothesis is: 1. You need a high IQ to survive colder areas. You need to be able to foresee the future and plan for the winter. People with low IQs are not good at planning for the future. Surviving the winter, growing food and getting water in the winter forces you to work hard which stimulates brain activity allowing most to achieve a higher IQ. What do you think?

Well, yes. I used to work at the back of an Italian restaurant doing dishes, it was an incredibly hard job as it was because I was the only dishwasher and was crazy busy. But during really vusy periods, other people would pile their work onto me. People making pizzas who used to get the dough themselves, now became my job to get it. People battering the wings now became my job. And all sorts of other stuff which made my job physically impossible. There was constant failure as a result of the impossibility of all my tasks. And all this for minimum wage, I quit. My point is that yes, yes you can complain.

I understand and agree with what you said. However it becomes very difficult to do so in practice. Typically, you receive extra minor responsibilities. For example if you worked in the bakery of a grocery store, your boss might say "Oh and can you sweep the main floor", after that "Go to grocery and help with this", eventually they all build up and you are working another persons job in addition to your own. So the way to prevent this would be to reject these small activities upfront. But when your boss asks something small that's extra and you refuse, you look like a disobedient slacker. It would be much easier if your boss desired to add a large responsibility to your workload and you could refuse that. But refusing small tasks makes you look bad.

I could only stomach the first one and didn't read the rest. "We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we're willing to fight for it." If this were a commandment, something that is to be constant, then it wouldn't make any sense as any level of enforcement would never be enough as it always needs to be "Tougher". This is impossible. This woman is functionally retarded, not surprisingly, she is practically the God of young liberals.

Without bothering to give further explanation, the simple answer is I'd rather be with a statist Good question!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/urban-farmer-facing-fine-for-backyard-chickens-1.2713200 People are criminals for trying to feed themselves. This shows the extent to which government power has gotten out of hand. Do they have nothing better to do than criminalize people for having a bird? I was looking to get some chickens lately and I live near this guy. Anyways, this was just a bit of a rant, what are your thoughts?

The morality of human shields and dealing with hostile borders

I love what you wrote. I never thought of Gaza as an open air prison before, but you're right. I've heard people basically say this: "Look, I know no one should ever be killed, but Israel tried to have a cease fire and Hamas didn't care. Israel just defended itself and Palestinians purposely huddled their children in there and the Palestinians love having dead children so they can show it to the media and make Israel look bad" This is a dangerous belief many people have. I think many people see the Palestinians as "Just arabs who are immature and love killing" which is not at all true. That sounds like a more accurate description of Israel. I understand your argument about how Gaza basically has a free market militia. But people argue that the children are so young, that that's why they aren't aware enough. They aren't being kidnapped, they are just obeying adults. (I don't believe this is even happening) Anyways, great post, thanks!- 131 replies

I too, have always used "Voluntarism", it makes a huge difference for first impressions of explaining this ideology. Voluntarism sounds like we are going to do good things, while anarchy sounds like we are going to just not do bad things. Just my two cents.

Most of us are fighting for a free society, whether it's through making Podcasts, Real Time Relationships, Peaceful parenting or something else. Freedom most likely won't be achieved in our lifetimes. But when freedom is achieved, an almost completely, true, voluntary society, what would people be fighting for? What will drive people? When freedom is achieved, what is there to do next? Thanks!

I don't think I'll be flying with Malaysia Airlines anytime soon. Seems they can't keep the planes up in the air or on the radar... -

I know this isn't a philospher, but I also reccomend watching Peter Schiff, he is great. -
I tried Civcraft recently. I didn't like it all. It was all spaced out, dead, no activity, not for me. I also heard it's full of marxists now, so... Also, I would prefer a vanilla server, but I'm not picky.

This is disgusting. If you were a bystander to this situation, what would be the best way to help? Intervene, stop the abuser and then call the cops?
