Why are we not ostracizing free riders on this board?
A4E replied to a topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
Yes, but it should not be right away, so it will take effect after they have asked a certain number of questions, and we need someone to decide what this number will be, so every 4 months we can have our say in what person we feel will handle this decision adequately. But this person can not do this all by himself, so then we need to enroll a kind of secretary who will collect the information on all the users who are not donating, so that the prime ostracize decider can make an informed rule. And then give the order to donators to enforce the decisions. We need to make sure that every donator obeys the new orders to ostracize non donators who have been asking one too many questions, so we need to hire a law abiding group of donators who will see to it that donators are doing what they are supposed to. Reprimanding any donator who are not doing their duty. Repeated violations may be subject to fines. The prime ostracize decider, secretary, and law abiding group of donators need to be compensated for their tireless and strenuous commitment to the greater cause of the forum, so it is only fair that all forum users chip in 1 dollar each per month to pay these hard working officials. Some forum users are not agreeing with the efforts for the greater good that we are in pursuit of, and are not chipping in to pay for our great decision maker and his staff. They are on trial as we speak. some may have legitimate reasons to not be able to pay, but for those who do not, we are taking necessary measures to ensure that they can not log in or even see the contents of the website. This necessity required us to hire an internet specialist, a judge and bandwidth for court procedures, this means that the current tax is now at 2 dollars per month. We have noticed that a portion of users are having trouble making logical and consistent arguments, which is why we can announce that their life will be much easier from now on, as other more experienced and logical forum users are now required to jump into your post to help you, for a minute, whenever you want to post something. And remember, If anyone do not like the way things are being governed around here, you can always vote for the next prime ruler of ostracizement. -

[H&W] Oral health. Oil pulling. Secrets of tooth decay.
A4E replied to A4E's topic in Science & Technology
My mouth before oil pulling, and tongue scraping, was in a bad situation, which is why I can note several effects after 2 months now. People who do not consume lots of sugars are likely not getting into such bad situations. Noticeably more energy. I was feeling a bit drained before. Less need for sleep. Before I was sleeping around 10 to 12 hours. Now its more like 8. And more taste. I had not done anything to clean my tongue for around... well since I was born. I've even had to use hydrogenperoxide to get some results. -
One reason I made this thread is that I noticed the sticky thread ban on conversations regarding determinism had been taken down. Or I could not find it. I see now that the ban is in the guidelines. I admit my wrongdoing and assume all responsibility. I will attempt to delete the thread, and await any appropriate punishment.

[H&W] Oral health. Oil pulling. Secrets of tooth decay.
A4E replied to A4E's topic in Science & Technology
Yes definitely could be that. I used that technique quite a lot before I started watching Stefan. Attacking myself preemptively, so others wouldn't have anything to attack me with, or at least less. Because attacks from others are mostly predictable. I hope I've not been doing that too much on this forum. -
[H&W] Oral health. Oil pulling. Secrets of tooth decay.
A4E replied to A4E's topic in Science & Technology
Hehe! Good catch. I'd like to think that I was just trying to say that I am very much into health, but the more I think about it, it looks like a self attack yes. I don't behave that way with people personally, so it must be something like a public self attack. -
As promised here is my opinion of the various statements. Please note that I do not want to start or participate in debates, as I am convinced that they are mostly completely useless and just creates resentment and division. And I was starting to regret making this thread when I saw that debates are beginning to form. 1. The laws of the universe are absolute. And nothing can directly violate them. Hard determinism. 2. like 1, but some things have the ability to choose what happens to it when given options. I was originally going to just call it compatibilist free will, but I don't really understand this position, so then its better if internet can explain it for me. I found Compatibilism, explained from wiki: "Compatibilism is the belief that free will and determinism are compatible ideas, and that it is possible to believe in both without being logically inconsistent. Compatibilists believe freedom can be present or absent in situations for reasons that have nothing to do with metaphysics. They define free will as freedom to act according to one's motives without arbitrary hindrance from other individuals or institutions." 3. The laws of the universe are absolute. But some things within the universe can directly violate them. It does not seem like it is a thing on internet, but I aimed for hardcore free will. That free will works outside and independently of a deterministic universe. Perhaps alternatively it could be a standard free will stance as explained by google: "The power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one's own discretion." But then we are getting really close to compatibilism, so I guess my original aim is more relevant. 4. The laws of the universe are not absolute. And so can be altered and manipulated within the universe. Religious position. ie, if the laws of the universe are absolute, then praying in itself would not be able to change the universe. And miracles that defy the laws, would be impossible.

I am quite a health freak and have embarked on numerous journeys towards better health for many years. Now recently I began a new journey in an area where I am severely lacking. I brush my teeth after every meal, but that's about it. Coke consumption, and tongue neglect had been plaguing me. I had no idea that a clean tongue might be important. Tooth decay has been a problem for me since my teens. I would like to share some videos with you incredible people here, regarding oil pulling and things you may not know about tooth decay. Also I recommend looking up tongue scraping. Here is some short videos, if you are in a hurry, regarding tooth decay, and there is a longer and older video below, with the same guy, that starts out kinda cheesy, but I promise that it gets better after the first 5 minutes. Longer older video with lots of detailed information regarding tooth decay. Start on 4:45 if you want to skip the cheesy stuff:

By "Laws of the universe" In this context, I mean "That which moves and changes it through time". Which is probably what most associate "Laws of the universe" with. Feel free to change a vote if it is possible. I am very excited for every vote!

Edit: In violation of guidelines, so please ignore.

Wow, that would be pretty chaotic! Birds would fly into trees and buildings daily, badly injuring themselves. Bears would walk into lakes and try to breath under water, suffocating in the process. "challenged" Lions trying to eat antelopes alive without killing them first would actually work because the antelopes are too stupid to run away. They would just start scratching themselves, because they don't understand what the cause of the pain is. Having pets would be a continuous job taking care of the equivalent of a mental patient, as they are not intelligent enough to figure out anything for themselves, do what works, avoid danger, or learn anything new. What meaning does the Milky Way have now, and how will it be lost if humans are not in it anymore? We could all convert to Islam, and live in Sharia law and a severely tyrannical, unproductive, and non advancing, deteriorating, anti scientific, theocratic world, with 1000s of suicide bombers detonating themselves around people with a different view on Islam every week. And then we can just wait for extraterrestrials to visit us. And hope that they will then feel so sorry for the state of our species, that they will erase all our memories, and spread us to other planets together with them as their slaves or something.

I see that you have received and accepted training in dealing with this sort of thing. A good example of horizontal pull down. I am absolutely certain that if someone told you there are multiple cures for cancer, you would have the same reaction. I tried to make it pretty clear that I have spent quite an enormous amount of time researching it, but you could not accept that, and wasn't going to let it pass. You want great things for humanity, but I imagine that you never considered that you might be a pawn of the bigger problem towards such visions, which is letting yourself be a minion of the propaganda grid. Do you think we will achieve great things when these minions go around 'arresting' people? One reason why muslims are so hard to get out of their condition is because of minions within them arresting, (and killing), anyone doing anything different. If you had said you do not agree with me, I would not have gone on this tirade. But you made a personal attack.

I have been through so much regarding it, that there is no point being ambivalent about it. Also I have no desire to spend any more time on it. At least not by repeating myself, so you can go to the wtf nasa thread if you require further insight.

Reminded me of cars running on water for fuel. It doesn't look like we are going anywhere as long as there is a global propaganda and distraction grid subduing people in the developed world. Also I think that after those pulling the strings figured out that it might be too hard even today, to go to the moon, that they are not interested in trying to cooperate to reach the stars, but rather they are intent on putting groups of people up against each other for the purpose of divide and conquer. As long as the majority let themselves be controlled and brainw4shed by a few, and held down horizontally, your visions for the future are bleak.

Bringing Climate Change Criticism to a Green Energy Company
A4E replied to lbnuke's topic in Self Knowledge
In your post, are you one of those who are sceptical and is being laughed at? If so, I do not recommend linking to an article. It will look like you are defending yourself, which automatically puts the burden on you, and you will just receive more ridicule and condemnation. Sure a low percentage will actually read the first 10 words in the article, and have a few braincells awoken, but the status quo'ers will continue to dismiss you, or attack you. I don't think linking to it will have much negative impact on your relationship with them, because it shows that you are not scared of stirring things up, which earns some respect, but as I noted, and from my own experience, you will definitely look like you are desperately trying to defend your viewpoint. Such an approach is commendable, but it is not effective, as I and many others can attest to. The great hidden secret sauce of demolishing illusions is that it is those with the original claim that needs to defend themselves. I've just recently started switching my failed strategy to the effective approach, which is putting the burden where it belongs. People in the wrong are very unlikely to rethink their position, (unless it is one of those rare souls who are open to new information). That is not the kind of result you are looking for. The victory is where you ask a question, and it is followed by slander towards you. Quote: "When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser." -Socrates When this happens I will just recognize that I have won, and that there is no point following up with anything, as they have clearly expressed that they are not willing to be open to the matter. If light ridicule is their first answer, then you could point out that it is an important matter which affects people significantly, and that you hope the person will take it seriously. Then ask again. If you then get a "Your crazy.", you have won, and the person made it clear that he is not going to take you seriously. Here is an example of the effective method, but you could do it in any way you want of course: Also you are unlikely to grow the same sized balls as Christopher Monckton, so I don't think you need to worry about your workplace: -
It is fairly easy to tell when a feminist youtuber is funded and supported by strong forces. The production value on those videos are perfect. Perfect cozy background. Perfect lighting. Perfect makeup. A nice looking lady. Even their clothes are perfectly suited for the video to not be intimidating or stand out in any way. It will look rehearsed. And they are not starting or stopping the video recordings themselves. Its all there to make the message more powerful and convincing. Sometimes though, the message is so outrageous that it blows up in their face and they remove it. I dont think I ever watched a whole video thankfully, just mostly smart people replying to them.

I agreed with your first post. Was just adding to it about the Indonesian thing I recently heard about. Sorry for not making it clear.

Great introduction! FDR is aWeSomE. I had the basic philosophies present in me at a young age, but they were being beat down and undermined by family in particular. Stefan made me realize just how powerful we can be when using basic principles. Letting other people dictate what you should feel and do to serve their superficial needs is a horrible life.

Well, I made a computer model that clearly shows that if we continue using cellphones at the current rate, the data is conclusive in which the electromagnetic radiation from these devices will lower the amount of gravidioxides, (part of the gravitational system), to such a degree that we will be in orbit around Jupiter in 2024. And Africa will be desert free by 2021 from our displacement in the solar system, meaning that if we do not reduce our use of cellphones by 2018, camels will be ext... wait... there is some new data in, and it looks like its too late already. But we can still do something to reduce the effect of this. Please go to makemeashamedofmyself .com

(April fools joke. can delete or lock) A quite prominent feminist on youtube (lots of views), with scores of videos on her channel, has a more recent video where she points out what views muslim immigrants coming into Europe most likely have. And also she at least look like she is admitting that we need to focus on the real misogynists, as now in her own words: "Men around here haven't been that bad..." Really heart warming. Watch the video yourself.

[YouTube] An Important Message From Stefan Molyneux
A4E replied to Cesco's topic in New Freedomain Content and Updates
This deserves a thread of its own. And also you, or someone, could make a video talking about this.
