  1. Using the plant food alarmist logic, it is probably the cost of building an air conditioning unit in every square mile of the planet.
  2. I have a simple view on this topic. Condoning bad behavior will enable a (more) harmful society. Ostracizing or retributing bad behavior will create a less harmful society. And in case someone can find a person who is fine with anyone harming him or stealing from him, then everyone implicitly agree that we need and want a less harmful society. Trying to find excuses for bad people is meaningless, unproductive, and inefficient, as it is a giant waste of time. Going on such a wild goose chase will severely hamper any and all efforts to create a peaceful world. When I see a mosquito, I don't try to find excuses for it and let it have its way with me. I recognize that it is going to harm me, and so I will protect myself accordingly.
  3. I strongly suggest anyone still thinking that vaccines are good, or even work, to acquire information on this topic. "The main advances in combating disease over 200 years have been better food and clean drinking water. Improved sanitation, less overcrowded and better living conditions also contribute." Source. A lot of what is in these shots is criminal to inject into a person.
  4. Something does not add up for me. Maybe I just got lost dunno. You already established that this girl is very manipulative, and you realized what hell that can bring with it in the future, and also you had conflicting world views, so you are hopefully not interested in her any more. Your friend, in spite of warnings, wants to pursue her. That is his choice. Why do you still care? The girl is most definitely going to try to cut you off your friend anyway. Look at the bright side. You can make a movie about it.
  5. What I have accepted is that homosexual mens brains are not exposed to testosterone in pregnancy, which supposedly would also explain hyper femininity in gay men. I have no idea if its true or not. If it is true, then perhaps lesbian brains were never exposed to estrogen in pregnancy?? If someone is 100% bisexual, maybe the brain was not exposed to estrogen or testosterone, or both too much? I have no idea how it really works, just speculating. Either way, there are theories that this 'random mistake' has survived evolutionary because being gay has some advantages. And is prevalent in animals as well. I thought everyone was aware that its not a matter of choice what orientation a person has. I agree that sexual behavior exists, but so does orientation imo, which is what the brain is programmed to like. If sexual orientation does not exist, then why are most males and females hetero? Shouldn't it be roughly 50/50 if there was only sexual behavior? Is the argument then that hetero people are somehow brainwashed to like the other sex?
  6. God is watching. Listen to authorities and the scripted stream media. Without a government, who will x as ineffective as they do today? My country is the best. Children only learn when you teach them a lesson. Did you see the match yesterday? The past is the past, you need to forgive. Sorry for swearing.
  7. We have a natural substance for most if not all ailments, that are in many cases more effective than artificial patented drugs. But most importantly, deaths due to natural substances like vitamins and minerals and oils and fats, are virtually nonexistent, so they are actually safe to use and mostly without side effects, compared to patented drugs that can also tag along several other patented drugs to 'manage' the side effects of the first one. I can say that natural substances have 'saved' a lot more people than patented drugs.
  8. Is there an easy way to figure out or list what podcasts never made it to youtube? Or if most content makes it to youtube, what podcasts were only partially put on youtube. I might only need a list back to 2014, june.
  9. Is it okay if I go to your neighborhood, set up a local food distribution, and: -Require everyone in your neighborhood to give the food distribution 50% of their net income -Hand out food for everyone, because my food distribution is good and wants the best for everyone. Also who would distribute food without food distributions? This is why we need food distributions! -Give my food distribution the 'legal' right to any kind of violence against anyone who oppose it in the neighborhood. -Give my food distribution the 'legal' right to change any rules, and make new ones, and get rid of any others as it sees fit. And ignorance of the law is no excuse. -Make it hard to leave the area. -Let everyone in the neighborhood vote for what family is going to manage the food distribution, and get paid to do it, out of the 2-4 families that my food distribution lets you vote on. Is this okay?
  10. Yes of course. You could even say that the life on earth now IS the most adaptable because it is the life forms that has survived. If you however think that ie humans are very adaptable and can handle most things, like new compounds never before been in nature, then how come so many cannot handle them when directed in how to use them by other humans? (I have not researched anything to see if the number is correct or not) Edit: This looks like a better link. I actually take this more seriously than you think, because a person close to me almost committed suicide because of these things.
  11. I have seen this argument before. And it is logical yes. But it fails on a biological life form perspective. O2 was not found in the atmosphere in the early times of our planet, and apparently Cyanobacteria filled the atmosphere with O2. Quote: "the rising concentrations may have wiped out most of the Earth's anaerobic inhabitants at the time." So that might have been the first example of a life form introducing a new compound which the other life forms had no idea how to handle. I am fairly certain that the human biological life form does not know how to handle all the new chemicals we are adding into our lives. So if you accept that everything we make is natural, then you should also accept that it is natural when people's health go down and can die from what we make. I know people will want to defend these horrid things because they might be using them right now. I am very happy that I am not on any of that anymore. I advice everyone to find out what you really need, and stop using them asap. I was eating artificial hormones for low metabolism for 10 years, which made me slightly retarded. Iodine/Iodide was what I needed. After getting what I really needed, energy went up, and retardation went away. I had a period where I was getting arthritis, turns out you need calcium and gelatin for that.
  12. Wow, you have the same feeling? Hyper vigilance is a very accurate description indeed. It is so consuming! And takes away a lot of enjoyment of being alive. I was hoping that no one would start asking what I was exposed to, and here are the reasons why I did not want to reveal it: -I absolutely hated not thinking. I felt like a walking sack of water able to respond to simple inquiries. I love to think about anything, so I did not touch it after that day, but I know one guy personally who don't want to think at all. -It could possibly ruin people's life and potential, and I don't want to be that catalyst. I might even get banned here. -Perhaps there are much better ways to achieve the same effect it had on me. -There are probably other ways to get rid of the hyper vigilance. -I don't want to promote it.
  13. Great posts! I would like to add some fun, but perhaps unwieldy suggestions: Start carefully and slowly grasping at anything valuable that the person has, like some money in his wallet, and when the person objects or tries to stop you, just say "Well, if you don't like people trying to take things from you here, you can just move to somewhere else." (slowly and carefully so not to be too threatening) Unzip and start peeing on the persons shoes, and if the person objects or complains, just say "Well, if you don't like getting peed on, you can just relocate." Start singing some really crappy pop song, and really badly on purpose. If the person gets annoyed be sure to tell him "Oh, it seems that you are annoyed at the sounds in this area... You can always move away, you know." Start ordering him around and threatening him with fines or confinement if he does not obey you, and let him occasionally know that if he does not like the situation, that he can move to another town or whatever. Start acting drunk or any other way that you know the person will find very embarrassing and/or awkward. If he questions you, then say "If you don't like what is going on here, you are free to leave." If the person walks away saying that you are crazy or something, then if you want to make the point more clear, you could follow him and do the same thing again in whatever location he stopped at. Not in between though, since he is 'moving'. If he however does anything else than move away, then you can respectfully point out that it seems he is choosing another approach than what he was advising you to have, which makes him a hypocrite.
  14. For multiplayer games its normal for the game to promote with or say something like "play with a friend", so then that friend should not be forced to buy a copy, imo. I've seen people make the argument that you are entitled to any pirated version if you already bought the game. Many pirate distributers are good at sending a message that goes something like "If you like it, you should buy it." Especially in the earlier gaming days. Back then trial versions were scarce.
  15. Thanks. Very interesting.
  16. Do you mean a distributer, or a leecher? A distributer who do not play it would be affecting sales for sure. I have not been selling much, I prefer to hand out things for free, so I'm not really the person you should ask. Interesting. Thanks. I have heard something similar. Though I have only heard about negative effects of piracy on the Amiga platform that I made mostly free stuff for. Maybe that developer was trying to discourage piracy by using reverse psychology. I did not understand this sentence. I'm no expert but my first impression is yes. The principle should be value for value. Makes you feel better as well, because we all implicitly agree that we need a peaceful society, and taking value without providing value in return is acting against a peaceful society, and will mess with your mind. So I am now thinking that piracy might actually harm people's mental health.
  17. 'Artificial' have been defined as 'not found in nature'. Here is the google quick result: "made or produced by human beings rather than occurring naturally, typically as a copy of something natural. 'her skin glowed in the artificial light'"
  18. Yes, the power of divide and conquer is enormous, if we were all united, then governments would have to actually do what the people wanted. A very good recent example of divide and conquer, is the latest computer made animation from NASA. It will create days, weeks, months, maybe even years of infighting among those who eat it raw and those who do not. Those who accept it as real will feel a very strong urge to attack me right now, and that seems to be the exact intention of that animation. I really don't see any other purpose of that animation. We have the technology to fake pretty much anything and make it look very real (see: any recent movie), but in this case they had to have decided to make it look acceptable to most people, but obviously faked at the same time. We will continue infighting about it, and NASA / government / control freaks walks away laughing. Of course they are trying to divide men and women. Of course they are trying to divide races. Of course they are doing all they can to divide people. Because it protects and increases the power of the control freaks pulling the strings, using the government as their handy tool. Execution for rape was a shocking statement imo. I agree with applying retribution to false charges, because all bad people need to see consequences of their actions.
  19. I reserve the word 'medicine' for all things natural that is beneficial for health. But that is not what the dealers in white coats give you. Those are artificially made, and they need to be in order to make lots of money from them with patents. However few people realize what they are actually ingesting, which is artificial chemicals/compounds that have never before been in nature, and so all biological life do not know what to do about them, which translate into all kinds of different wrenches in the biological machinery of our bodies. And plenty of people dying.
  20. Have you been eating, or are you eating any artificial chemicals at the moment?
  21. If you find yourself wandering into the past, you can: -Focus on the reasons why it ended / had to end. -Imagine how miserable your life could have become had it not ended. -Realize how many good virtuous people he would have kept you from meeting. If you still feel guilty, then you can remember that: -Relationships are voluntary. -Bad people absolutely need to see consequences for their actions. -Peaceful / good people have no obligation to hang around or try to fix bad people. -By staying with bad people you are indirectly accepting their bad behavior. When you find the 1, it will be crystal clear how the others were 0s.
  22. Sounds horrible. I really feel with you. Before in my life my brain obsessively wanted to make sure where everyone was at every second. I think this was due to bullying at school up until late teens. Turning the other cheek did not seem to work... Many years later one day I was exposed to something that had the effect of shutting down most of my thinking, and I also coincidentally went to the general store where the obsessive thoughts would initiate, and this time the thoughts were gone, I did not need to know where everyone was, which was a very weird experience for me at the time. Just that one day realization made my brain understand that it did not have to know where everyone was all the time, and all subsequent trips to the store was more and more relaxing, and now a breeze. So from just that one day, my brain seemed to rearrange itself, so that now my brain is a lot more relaxed. Maybe you can try to occupy your brain with something else while working, like listening to low volume music (so that you can hear the customers), or play a simple game while talking to them. Or watch a movie. You can notify your boss that you are struggling with something and want to experiment with different things one day. Just my amateur advice.
  23. I looked at the wiki page, and I assume you are referring to this line: "among competing hypotheses that predict equally well, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.". The result/prediction of each theory is a sequence of the same images, so I don't understand how my example was not applied correctly. I appreciate that you want to clarify how I am wrong, so could you please explain how my example was applied erroneously? Edit: Perhaps you only ment the distinction between assumptions and complication, in which case, thanks. Being able to build and send a satellite to a specific location in space and be able to capture those images would still fall under assumptions though imo.
  24. Let Terry W. Virts, a NASA astronaut tell you his perspective. Here is the full version of the added part in the video above.
  25. When control freaks see that they cannot monitor everything on internet, the likely outcome is staged events followed by attacks on internet freedom. And then it will be up to all internet freedom lovers to expose the foolery, unless you are willing to accept internet regulation.
