You encouraged me to do a google search: The next one was confusing to me. It appeared when I searched on "spanking hypocrisy". Perhaps it is a real and old ad, but I imagine it can get people to think.

I was gobbling up information about this and the double slit experiment for a period. The double slit experiment is at the top of interesting things for me. The overwhelming evidence, and also near infinite probability, suggests that we are part of a simulation. And also that the simulation we are a part of could also be within a simulation of its own, and so on... Following this notion, being born in the one true mother universe, (if there is only one), would be equally probable as Barrack Obama admitting that he is partaking in training ISIL forces, and being sceptical to his own involvement in creating this proxy army, but openly asking congress to give him more authority and resources to train those fighters... Wait... maybe we are in the true mother universe after all.

It could be as simple as one soldier letting his emotions take control of him. There does not have to be a top down order from a Ukrainian government to launch a missile. Also people are not always good at seeing potential consequences, even if they have a nice suit. Just because something would be stupid to do, does not mean no one did it.

Being authentic will probably drive away a portion of the people around you, which would likely result in you finding out who the quality people are. So I would like to ask you this first: Do you want to respect yourself and do what is ultimately best for yourself in the long run, or do you want to keep all the people around you at the moment, and have them like you, with the fake person you have created? This is important, because you are right in being scared that (some) people will not like you if you are real. But are you getting paid by the people around you to always be positive and always make them laugh? (or whatever else you are doing for them) Comedians get paid to entertain people, but they dont have to always self sacrifice to entertain their friends or family. Also, do you want to be liked by as many people as possible? If so, why? Another thing about the people around you now. I think they do not respect you. I remember now that I have actually been in your situation. I had little to no respect for myself, and little to no respect from others, because I was usually just trying to entertain those around me, and everyone picked up on that superfluous and shallow personality. This was partly due to me eating a pharmaceutical poison for years, because a lot of that junk will mess with your head. but thats another story. I was liked by mostly everyone, like an audience will like a clown for a while, but they had little to no respect for me as a person. It was mainly a toxic environment, that only served to degrade me further as a person. Thankfully I stopped eating the artificial chemical, and gradually stopped entering into the toxic environment. Now my life is much better. Maybe the solution for you might be the same it was for me, to (gradually) stop putting yourself in the situations where you turn into another person. You might see that the obligation you put on yourself to be mister happy positive guy will slowly fade away. Your ultimate goal should be to respect your feelings and respect yourself no matter where you are or what you are doing. You do not need to be liked by as many people as possible. Life is way too short and valuable to go around pleasing or entertaining everyone with the self sacrifice that entails.

I thought for a moment other life outside of our ant hill might have emotion but I doubt it. Even if they did they don't express it very well or seem to be influenced by it to any great degree. We have already tested giant monster brains and determined they can be made to act panicking by exposing them to the chemical in our abdomen. They would never be ants because they lack self-conscious reasoning. They are clearly not responsible for their actions and wouldn't qualify for anthood. Although they do display some pretty intelligent behavior- I am not sure they understand or have any concept of what they are actually doing. It's a sad realization when all other life outside of our peaceful, productive and caring colony is pretty much just a biological robot."

I have a feeling I am being punked. If it is everywhere in the news, then it could be a distraction from something else. Like in the same morning when the top news was that Russia was carrying out airstrikes in Syria for 2nd day, we had the Oregon college event without evidence, making it the top story. So what else happened? Could the following be a story worthy of creating distractions? Migrant crisis: Merkel says EU must secure external borders. I have been wondering if it is good training for children to be exposed to this lie when they are young, so that it will be easier for them to spot much bigger lies later in life. Is there any correlation between the exposure and subsequent reveal of the santa claus hoax, and the shift from religion to atheism in the western world? I have not heard of any muslim world where they teach their children a lie on purpose, for then to reveal it later or let them figure it out themselves. Deceit is a potentially very costly and harmful ordeal to go through. Most people on this planet do indeed go through life in deceit to varying degrees. Exposing your children to a harmless deceit might actually then turn out to be a great idea. Perhaps I would still believe humans are destroying the world with plant food, and that humans have been on the moon, and that there are no cures for cancer, and many other lies, had I not been told that a mysterious creature called Santa delivered all the presents.

It is supposed to be time lapse shot images of the real moon going in front of the real planet earth, put together as a playable low frame rate video. I never thought or insinuated that it is presenting itself as being realtime. I have not seen any update on this obvious divide and conquer hoax, but if they have finally come out and admitted that it was fake and that they are sorry for wasting everyones time and energy, then that is great!

Stefan's guide here that i learned from him would go something like this: Telling the truth makes you vulnerable. Being vulnerable will reveal all sadists and assholes around you. Life is way too valuable and short to spend with assholes, so now that you know who they are, do not give any more time to them.

I had the same opinion until a youtube commenter helped me realize that nuclear bombs are probably a hoax. You can check out the thread on this board here. Whether they are a hoax or not, this attitude is very detrimental for any self realization and progress towards freedom and peace.

Maybe she wants, or her parents want her to take the slow bus if it will be safer?

Question: Is it okay to please and/or entertain a person in order to sway the person into a different mindset?

The problem with trying to guess this is that there is probably a lot of R&D going on (and been going on) in this field outside of the public eye because insect lookalikes are very valuable for espionage, and a wide range of other uses.

I watched something long ago about a person studying ant behavior in extreme detail down to each ant by marking them, and the conclusion was that every single ant behaves differently. This was not a surprise to me, as I have always suspected that there is a lot more brain processes going on in insects than we think. 100s of millions of years with survival of what works VS decades of programming I'd say not even 1% close.

Randomness does not exist. It is just a word we have created and use for describing something we do not understand how came to be.

Mirroring other people and wearing the culture you are born into is the rule. There is no reason to be upset that a child has learned new words, any more than being upset that the child learned to walk. If it becomes frequent, then I'd just tell the child that people will find it harder to understand him/her. If someone wants to go through life swearing, then that is their choice. If it is directed at other people on the other hand, it becomes harmful and have to be addressed.

Trying to convince someone directly to disassociate with a tribe based on logical arguments is very unproductive. Not only are they 99.99999 % likely to stay in their tribe and attack you, but you wasted your time as well. If it is public, and you refrain from ad hoc and other mudslinging. Then it has some value for other people even if it will not change the person you are talking to. If it is a podcast, video, or article, then it has much more value, as people do not have to read or listen to the tribal member, and you have plenty of time to make your case as understandable as possible, to as many people as possible. Having 'debates' with tribal members is the same as having a 'debate' with a fan of a soccer/football team. You want to cooperate with people to find the truth, while they want to make everyone else aware that their perspective of the world is the best, and right one. It is investigation VS conclusion. And those are incompatible. Racism has been ostracized in society to the point where racists can typically only state their opinion in privacy. The same can be done to feminism.

Great video. Trying to figure out why she did not reply is very unproductive and really just self torture. Something more likely is that she is chatting with 20 guys simultaneously, and your answers were somewhat anti relationship, so your messages likely just drowned in comparison to the answers from other guys. A stable relationship is more important biologically for a woman than a man. So when she asked you what hobbies you have, that is not really what she was asking you. I genuinely believe that women are looking for hints of where they will be in the mans life if they get together. And also inviting the man to come up with something pro relationship. If the man really wants a relationship, then it makes sense for the woman to look for these clues right? She might not even understand herself that she is searching for them. Lets say you answered: "Oh, I like to spend hours counting money. And when I'm not traveling the world, I go to the gym and I usually hang out with all my friends there. and talk about how to stay fit and healthy." It only says something about you, and even though it seems that you are well off economically, and world experienced, and healthy and fit, there is nothing about a potential stable relationship or where such a partner would be in this context. So you are likely to not get an answer back there as well. This does not mean you have to lie. We all like to imagine how a perfect relationship with someone will be. So why not include hints of that in your answer? You could theoretically mention any hobby, as long as you include her into the picture at some point. When you want a lifetime relationship then just give plenty of hints around that as well. And don't make the hobby sound like an obsession. If you are obsessed with something in the world, how are you going to find time for her? Do you intend to use her as your napkin in between the glorious fights with evil? Example: "I like to tend to my plants, while I am thinking about finding the one." As opposed to: "I have to make sure my plants are ok. They need certain amounts of water, and such and such amount of light and nutrition. It is complicated and I have to do it this way to get the results I want." She was not asking what hobbies you have. She was asking where she would be in your life.

Just like with most 'solutions' to the plant food hysteria, I am delighted to see that my hasty parody solution does not really make sense either. Thanks.

Quite some time ago I devoured information about how cancer cells do not initially become cancer cells because they mutate, but because they have been hijacked by tiny bacteria that always reside in our bloodstream in great numbers. And that it is the reason why cancer cells always get the same mutation as a side effect of being hijacked by these 'micro' bacteria. Don't remember the name for them. It makes sense that it is not mutations that initially cause the cancer, since if it was, then there should be many many more different mutations going on that does not make cancer, such as perhaps glowing cells, or nasal bones, or teeth, or tree bark, or whatever else biologically possible, anywhere in the body, yet we do not typically see that. Does that video mention anything about this? If not, anyone else heard about this? Or is this the first time? I think I remember where I can find information about this.

This is similar to some plant food alarmists in that every earthquake, tornadoes, tsunami, etc, is blamed on humans. Plants will eat the plant food, and the planet will continue to do what it does regardless, as it has always done. The much more immediate global crisis is that polished cars are reflecting sunlight into space, which is going to make the planet cool down. This global cooling is endangering camels, as they can only survive in a warm climate. (camel_in_distress.gif). We will force everyone to pay an extra fee whenever they buy car polish, and we will have websites where you can pay for your si... uh give your fair share of the car polish you have used before. We will use the money to increase awareness of the impending doom if people do not stop polishing their cars. And we will use the money to buy more nicely polished luxury ca... uh I mean take care of our planet by imposing 50 degree angled reflectors on top of all cars.
