  1. "Experienced hyperinflation in the past? So what?" "So what" if it cost Ten million dollars to buy a loaf of bread. "so what" if the money you got in exchanged for your work is worthless. Sorry, "so what" is not an argument. How about "so what" to your "message" that lacks an actual argument. I asked for an argument on why you dont think it will happen to the US, Still didnt get anything, just rambling. You mention hyperinflation hasnt happened in US yet, where is your argument it wont? I am still waiting. It seems you dont even know the basics of economics. No one will take your "message" seriously with statements like this "Experienced hyperinflation in the past? So what?"
  2. "I find it interesting that this economic collapse has yet to materialize" Every fiat currency in history has eventually collapsed. You dont even need to go that far to see the latest collapses, Venezuela, Argentina, Zimbabwe. I am pretty sure the people who were using these currencies wished they knew about this inevitable tragedy. Are you assuming it can happen to other countries but somehow not USA? well, where is the argument? I think its well known this system is not sustainable. The US national debt has doubled in the last 8 years. Also, Donald Trump has mentioned defaulting on the debt. The collapse is not a matter of if, Its a matter of when. I am glad we have people like Ron Paul and the prolific Alex Jones speaking about this. You wanna know what is unethical? Telling people to "calm the hell down with this economic collapse BS" when there are people who are hunting dogs and cats right now because of a collapse!
  3. Well, its hard to say without knowing all the details. However, you mentioned you invested in this blockchain startup. So, You know what it takes to get investors to invest in this startup as you were one of them. That can be valuable depending on the situation. You might be able to start by helping the marketing team attract investors or better yet, reach out to potential investors yourself and try to get them to invest. You have your reasons why you invested, why not share it with other potential investors? If you can bring in investors to the company im sure you will have no problem getting paid for that. One of the biggest reasons I see startups fail is because they ran out of money. Maybe you can do email outreach or my favorite which is cold calling. But again, I dont know much details about this startup and you mentioned you didn't have any concrete skills that are directly relevant. So, I dont have much to work with haha. However, I am glad to see you want to enter the business world. I personally love business and have been an entrepreneur all my life. I truly wish you the best and much success!
  4. Wow, super inspirational. I will certainly be following this. Thanks for sharing
  5. I think if you're spending so much time in self-knowledge that it leaves no time to actually apply it, that can be an issue.
  6. Well, you just gotta be skeptical and ask questions. I try to look at both left and right leaning websites to see what makes sense.
  7. rape is a violation of the non-aggression principle. Its immoral and not neutral
  8. What argument do you feel Stefan hasnt rebuttal?
  9. in·tel·li·gence inˈteləjəns/ noun 1. the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. Smart people tend to want to acquire knowledge. Not so smart people tend to not care. This is the only marker I use. Now, as far as figuring out who is applying knowledge and skills, You can look at their work. But that is subjective, so, I personally dont spend too much time on it. Most of my friends are entrepreneurs, but, Its probably because I am one myself. I do think entrepreneurship takes an incredible amount of acquiring and applying knowledge and skills(intelligence) but someone may feel otherwise.
  10. Well, gifting SK books/dvds have always been a great way to introduce someone. And If someone sees the benefits of SK, im sure they will want more. What is your husband trying to improve on? im sure there are some SK resources that can help
  11. What do you mean? The four blacks are in custody. I dont know anyone who thinks they shouldnt be in custody ie "never the blacks fault"?
  12. Donald Trump isnt even president yet and we are getting major protest and even attacks. The most recent one seems to be in Chicago which was live streamed on facebook http://www.fox32chicago.com/news/crime/227116738-story The majority of the people in the US supported Hillary(popular vote), But I understand not all are radical. My question is how far wide spread is the violent left? And what can be done to stop them from potential attacks? If they are protesting Trump for what he says he will do, will the protest/attacks get worse when he is actually in office doing what he promised?
  13. Well, are you going to continue reading what I am going to say? yes, so you have control.
  14. It will look like humans trying to exist in area that didnt evolve with them
  15. video is private, can you send us another version or tell us what happen?
  16. Would love to see the source for this too, Curious on what is considered preventable and not preventable.
  17. I am not sure if im understanding the argument. I hate trying to rephrase what people mean, so, I hope you can correct me if im wrong, but, are you saying it is selfish to breathe, drink and eat? As far you saying "You provide products/services to others so that you can store value for yourself", providing products/services is probably the most unselfish thing you can do in the free market. Someone who's willing to find the needs or wishes of others and create a business to supply it (which has a 96% rate of failing within 10 years), shows a willingness to put the needs or wishes of others before one's own. And the proof is when people buy the product, as they clearly needed or wished to have it if they paid for it. Business may be a complicated topic, Let me ask you a question that I feel will help me understand your "Selfishness motivates everyone" argument better, what are some actions that humans do, that you would consider unselfish?
  18. Yea that part was just my personally thoughts on the matter. The larger part you didnt quote was the actual argument. So I wasnt trying to appeal to emotion. Can you make the argument of how being selfish motivates you?
  19. Im not understanding the argument, maybe you can rephrase it.
  20. Competition by definition is about establishing superiority. If you made the horse carriages and I made the car you should thank me, as now you and your future children, and the whole of humanity will now enjoy excellent transportation. If I made the car I will thank the person who makes the flying automatic car, as I know me, my future children and the whole of humanity will experience better transport because of it. Its a little selfish to not want something that can benefit you and the whole of the humanity just because your business might fail. I personally have had many failed businesses and only a few successful ones. It might suck in the moment when your business fails but that wont solve anything. Starting a better one will. Capitalism is the right kind of attitude.
  21. well, I think they should be glad people supplant businesses, imagine if we didnt do that? nothing would grow. I dont see how someone who appreciates new technology, would not like getting regress(career wise) because of new technology, or better service, or whatever caused them to get their business supplanted. It seems people who oppose automation oppose competition.
  22. Well, without Christianity there is and has been justice, it just seems to be subjective. People seem to be achieving justice by just knowing what is evil, to jailing, to torture, to death, to riches, to materialism, to legacy etc You claiming there is no justice without Christianity shows you know what what justice looks like. If, I claim there is no dog, I think I must know what a dog is right? So, what is justice to you? and what is no justice? Justice seems to require judgement and from what I recall, judgement is frown upon in Christianity, for only god can judge the living and the dead. At least, thats from what I remember.
  23. One that I feel would be easy to setup, would be interviewing the great Grant Cardone. Amazing businessman who has interesting philosophies. I really hope Stefan can reach out to him. Stefan has done economics and politics a lot lately and I feel doing more business focus related interviews would help.
