Do Republicans and pedophile priests share the same vile sexual morality. I wrote this for the religious forum but it seems to be a question that I should have put to Republicans as they are exhibiting the same vile morality as pedophile priests and the religious who ignore morality to feed their tribal needs. Do you see any difference in the immoral and unethical position of both groups? How and why can people ignore their God’s immoral ways? I find it quite strange that Christian, Muslims and Jews can ignore the immoral ways that their God is shown to have in the Bible, Qur’an and Talmud. If you have read any of the critical books on God, you will have seen God described with some rather disingenuous terms that, if applied to a man, would see that man executed by any moral government in quick order. The Buddhist saying that if you ever meet God, kill him seems quite fitting. Frankly, I think killing him without making him suffer for a time would be too good for him. If hell were real, that would be a better end for him as mankind would surely need to see that torture to gain real closure for God’s crimes against humanity. This aside. I can appreciate the value for society of local churches, mosques and temples but cannot fathom why lying priests, preachers and imams try to sell their God as a good God, when he is obviously more satanic than Satan. Perhaps scripture speak at least one truth in that the whole world would be deceived by Satan and his lying preachers and imams. Not that I believe in Satan. As a Gnostic Christian, my focus has been to try to become a Parfait, a perfected moral man, using the methods Jesus taught. It has been a long climb up Jacob’s ladder and apotheosis put me up one rung and I have tried to climb higher, but seem to have stalled due to my inability to find arguments that are persuasive enough to loosen Satan’s grip on the minds of Christians, Muslims and Jews. Their need of fellowship is stronger than their work on their moral sense and they stay in their religions even though they know that their God is immoral and not worthy of their idol worship. This Gnostic Christian truth is not a flattering epithet for God, which is likely what cause their destruction by Inquisition. The truth hurts the religious even when given with a loving touch. I am not that good at that but have seen good honest lovers of Christ get verbally abused by theists. They think hate is motivating those who speak against their God even when love is the motivator. Hate is born of love, and the Gnostic hate of God is justified on moral grounds, and the attempted correction of a believers moral sense and their thinking is done out of love. They forget that that is how Jesus was and how that love driven expression of hate with what he saw around him almost got him killed at the hands of the Jews. So the myth says. The fact that I have had many theists resist entering into moral argument of their God indicates that they know that their God is immoral. I can appreciate that once a person accepts the fellowship that his tribal nature seeks, and he can survive without having better morals, he is loath to jeopardize the comfort zone he has created for himself. The problem is that theists are living in self-deception and for one who seeks or has attained Gnosis, a deeper knowing of himself, self-deception is basically not allowed. That is why I have to bother fighting a fight that is almost un-winnable. If you have an answer to the question I posed at the onset, please enlighten me as I am quite disappointed to see so many living in self-deception and without Gnosis, and following Gods who are demonstrably more Satan like than God like. In the terrible days that we will face from environmental degradation that will soon be upon us, a new and moral God will be required and we presently do not have one. I recognize that our tribal and fellowship needs are quite strong and a part of our basic instincts. Do you have any idea as to how we can break Satan’s hold on Christians, Muslims and Jews and change their fellowship and tribal needs to a need for a God with decent moral values? Regards DL

Did God err in making Adam ruler over Eve?

Exactly. None of us want to be as bright as bricks. I just gave you this elsewhere. http://dish.andrewsullivan.com/2013/10/20/comparative-theodicy/ ‘Instead of the Fall of man (in the sense of humanity as a whole), Judaism preaches the Rise of man: and instead of Original Sin, it stresses Original Virtue, the beneficent hereditary influence of righteous ancestors upon their descendants’. Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Is that not what A & E did? Gen 3:2 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: Is that a fall or an elevation to you? Regards DL -

I do not see pride quite like you do. To me, it is just stating a subjective fact from the speakers POV. Pride, in that sense, is not hubris, humble or vanity. Regards DL -

Only that it is all fiction and a Jewish coming of age yarn. Jews rightly say it as man's elevation while the more stupid Christians saw it as our fall. Regards DL -

If homophobia is natural, I must be un-natural.. In the wild, many species have gay members and you do not see them abused just for being gay. I do not like the idea of burning children. I do see the need in communities where finite resources would cause it though as a new young mouth might cause an older worker to die. Don't you? Regards DL -

Did God err in making Adam ruler over Eve?

I meant I would not and could not argue against your idea that a supernatural God does not exist. As a Gnostic Christian, my God is not supernatural. When I say that the name of God is "I am, I mean me, based on the more Eastern tradition Jesus shows in these quotes. Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. This expands on that theme. Regards DL -

Yet God showed pride. At Jesus' baptism, --- in him, I am well pleased. This is showing pride. I am proud of my choice of wife and have pride in my kids and family. I see no sin in that. Regards DL -

Are the .1% are shooting themselves in the foot by hording. Presently, the rich preside over a demographic pyramid that is top shaped and de-stabled. Ironically, because the rich have put themselves so far from the base, they themselves have become the most unstable part of the pyramid. This is not good for the rich. Trickle down, an economic concept which is what we all live in, if increased would remedy the stability problem. With the world below being de-stabilized by the rich, due to their distance from the bottom, and the rich knowing the benefits of stability, would be well advised to lower its demographic position and bring profits to the whole demography. To the rich, with profits to all being possible, I would ask, what are you waiting for? Regards DL

A nuclear WWIII will never happen. Dishonor will prevent it. Wars are fought for honor and a nuclear WWII would have nothing but shame for the initiator of such a war. Our leaders know that there would be no honor in a nuclear war that would destroy our environment and insure that there is no real winner. Any leader or military war machine under his command that would initiate such a war would know dishonor like the world has never seen. The hate for Hitler and his regime and ideology is still alive and well in the world and that hate would be dwarfed by the hate that the initiator of a third WWIII would feel from the world. The main reason for that hate and denial of honor would stem from the fact that any nuclear war would be fought against cities and their citizen instead of having an honorable battlefield war. No leader or military force will dishonor itself the way the U.S. did in Japan. Honor in war comes from facing an enemy man to man and our technology has now made that impossible. There is no honor in killing innocent non-combatant citizens in their beds from thousands of miles away. Ordinary people know this and so do their leaders and military. Mutual assured destruction says that any nuclear war will be self-genocide. Some who do not know why wars are fought, and honor sought, may think some leaders are foolish enough to initiate a nuclear war but forget that no high ranking military man, especially of Asian descent, would ever dishonor himself and his family by initiating such a war. Such a man of honor would never initiate such a dishonorable war. A man of honor would know though that he would not be doing his duty if he did not retaliate. Reciprocity is fair play and is honorable and duty and honor would force a reciprocal reply. Do you understand the psychological principles at play shown above and do you agree? Regards DL

Did God err in making Adam ruler over Eve? Scripture are clear. Sin and death entered this world through Adam, and he was thus to blame for original sin. Yet God rewarded Adam with dominion over Eve even though Eve was not responsible for sin and death entering the world. Gen3:16 and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. This shows God continuing the policy of punishing the innocent instead of the guilty that is shown in scriptures. 1Peter 1:20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. God seems to be rewarding Adam for sin while punishing Eve for the events in Eden even though she was innocent of sin as she did not have any evil intent and was deceived by Satan, a force that she could not possibly resist thanks to God giving Satan the power to deceive the whole world after God put Satan in Eden with Eve. If making man ruler over women that was an error, it would help explain the 5,000 years of war we have had to endure with undeserving men as rulers. Gnostic Christianity, a Universalist belief system, believes in full equality for all souls. Christianity obviously does not believe in equality if it preaches that men are to perpetually enjoy ruling over women. Not to mention the inequality of gays. Did God err in making Adam ruler over Eve and thus punishing the innocent instead of the guilty? Regards DL
