They apply critical thinking and skepticism to supernatural and paranormal claims, but magical thinking to political and economic claims. -

He's right; the NAP is a preference, but it's also a principle; they're not mutually exclusive. I prefer to abstain from aggressing against others. I live according to this principle through demonstrated preference. -
Why is it a big claim to say that contradictions don't exist? A contradiction is, ipso facto, false. Why do you need to be shown that no contradictions exist in nature? Do you apply the same rigid standard of proof to all other claims in your life, or do you make decisions based upon reasonable certainty? There isn't a fine line between being thorough and being foolish. Submitting research for peer review is being thorough. Claiming something like, "We can't be certain that 2+2=4 because 2+2 might equal 5 somewhere else in the universe," is being foolish.

There are two major problems with the minimum-wage: 1. It violates property rights by imposing a negative servitude. 2. It makes it a crime for a person to work in the employ of another if his marginal revenue product is below the minimum-wage. Another significant problem, which isn't so apparent, is that it deprives people of opportunities to apprentice.

It isn't necessary to invest hours debating the merits of their ideas. None of their ideas will ever materialize because the ZM repudiates private property and money which are required for economic calculation and division of labor. There are several threads on this forum (and mises.org) discussing this.

It's not a difficult problem to solve. The real problem is the people who prevent problems from being solved. -

Commuters' wasted time in traffic costs $121B "Experts" solve traffic problems. Yeah. I remember my dad complaining about traffic when I was a child back in the 1970s. There has been little to no improvement since then. Posted under economics for two reasons: tragedy of the commons and central planning.
