Well, yes, it's irresponsible to do that, but I thought that talking to the parents might give some insight about the way the parents interact with their children at home. Children become bullies because they, themselves, are bullied by their parents.

Fighting for your bullied child So, the school "questioned" the kids who bullied Alex. Did they question the parents? I doubt it.

It's an interesting phenomenon. It's possible for people to believe in the supernatural while recognizing certain truths in the world. Ken Miller is a Catholic and brilliant biologist. I recommend watching him on YouTube.

What were they complaining about? Travel is expensive.

There are many women online but women tend to have different interests than men. For example, far fewer women play computer games than men. If you're asking specifically about this forum, reasons might include an aversion to conflict, or a desire not to be solicited, or sensitivity to the subject matter, or reticence and insecurity. I'm speculating. The popularity of Facebook might have something to do with seeking validation.

If you can stand the screeching succubus. We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.

Prosecutor leads effort to test long-abandoned rape kits, brings justice to victims If you search online for "untested rape kits" you'll discover that it is a frequent occurrence which happens in many different places. It's hardly surprising since investigating real crimes, which involve actual victims, takes effort and resources while imposing fines, raiding businesses, and confiscating property takes less effort and raises revenue for the State.

What does it mean when atheists say "spiritual problem" ?
Alan C. replied to Pete Walker's topic in Atheism and Religion
I've never used that phrase and I don't recall hearing it before. I don't know what it means. -
He has also joked about drone strikes.

So sorry, Jamie. That was wrenching to read. Your mom sounds very maladjusted and unstable to me. A therapist can help you process the abuse which was inflicted upon you, but won't be able to protect you from more abuse. It may become necessary to take measures to insulate yourself from your mother if she continues to manipulate and abuse you.

US business hits out at ‘Obamacare’ costs
Alan C. replied to Alan C.'s topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
Peter Schiff frequently talks about this on his show and business owners often call in to talk about how they've been forced to alter their existing arrangements or postpone plans for future expansion to avoid compliance costs. A recent call was from a convenience store owner who said that he knows other owners with multiple franchises who are considering selling some of them to keep the headcount under the threshold. -

That's why I rarely read comments on YouTube, and when I do I'm quickly reminded of why I rarely read comments on YouTube. The reason why stupidity runs amok is because the barrier to entry is so low. The cost of spreading vacuous drivel on the Internet is effectively zero.

If you have cash (in excess of what you need to live on) sitting idle in a bank account then you're wealth is being slowly siphoned away via currency debasement. The purpose of buying precious metals is to prevent this. Americans used silver coins in the past as currency and they didn't need to exchange them for paper to buy stuff. If Federal Reserve Notes become worthless then gold and silver will be used for commerce. People won't wait acound for the State to create another currency so that they can buy groceries. In the meantime, it's not a big deal to exchange gold and silver back into paper to make a purchase.
