  1. There are several problems. Finite sets can contain infinite sets if you don't delineate those two. Plus, no first order predicate logic and describe all the finite sets for that reason. Except that the two sets are not bijective. If you have a universal description it must necessarily include countable and uncountable sets. You have begun a monumental task, which is laudable. But why bother with sets (which have their pitfalls) when there is already a logic to describe ethics in a formal way? It's easier to modify S5 so it can describe quantors that occur in UPB than to use set theory.
  2. Why did you restrict that to finite sets? Doesn't that collide with the defitnition of the set being universal?
  3. The Etruscans were a bunch of loosely connected city states. The Irish were pretty anarchistic as well.
  4. Existence isn't a predicate. Saying there is a tree and it exists doesn't add any additional information. Either the tree is there or it is not. Saying that it exists doesn't add anything. Those cells have a purpose. Passing on your DNA to the next generation. The purpose is not only doing their job, but doing a job for a goal, that is procreation.
  5. Communism is anarchist by the description that Marx gives in the Communist Manifesto. It is preceded by Socialism which will fall because of its internal contradictions and then lead to Communism where there are no classes and no struggles. In reality, Socialism inevitably leads to rightwingish anti-Communist regimes (Belarus, North Korea). Multinational corporations, city states, leaders of ethnical or cultural groups (See Diamond Age for details).

    Identity

Left to themselves, people tend to desegrate. Whites move to white neighbourhoods, African Americans to black neighbourhoods and so on. What people do ('white flight') speaks louder than what they claim to believe ('muh black friend').

    Identity

Well, natually we tend to identify with people with a similar DNA to us. There I fixed it. Morals and the rest are an epiphenomenon.
  8. There is a useful distinction between ideology and view of the world (Weltanschauung). You can have the same view of the world (materialism) and yet have different ideologies such as Communism or Capitalism. The key difference is not the interpretation of the world but rather the question who should or shouldn't rule which is ideological.
  9. So I want to study Newtonian mechanics I need to put on a whig, never have sex again, become a homosexual and do all my studying under some apple tree? What do you recommend for studying Relativity? Growing a Jewfro, never wear socks, mistreat my wife and become a socialist?
  10. Where? The state always meddled with the economy. Marx never spoke of Libertarianism. He claimed that Capitalism is a stepping for sociaslism since there are 'internal contradictions' in Capitalism. When companies compete via the marginal cost of production, the return of investment will eventually go down. This in combination with high unemployment in late stage capitalism will cause socialism to rise up. Once the internal contradictions of Socialism will show up you'll get Communism.
  11. Supply and demand and the fight against unionisation of labour. There was an influx of cheap labour and labour unions were fought with the help of the state. The lower limit for wage in the absence of labour unions is the amount of money needed for a worker not to starve and to have a place to sleep.
  12. The problem is that there is no trinity in the Old Testament. Furthermore, the language barrier is vast. The KJV does a pretty good job at translating, but if you want to understand what the text said you have to use an interlinear bible. The biblical stories are complex and it takes a lot of studying to understand them, if that is possible at all. One way to do that, which takes some time is to use Eco's method of structuring, by splitting them up in a table. Every person gets a column, the first column is reserved for the verses. When a person does something you note it in the cell that corresponds with the verse and the person. You'll be surprised how much you have missed
  13. Communism kept the ethnic composition of Eastern Europe more or less intact. Plus, the people in Eastern Europe got immunize against the neoliberal globalist agenda of open borders and unlimited immigration.
  14. The Left would have made no progess if it weren't for their backing by multinational corporations. They are useful idiots to further the globalist agenda. The agenda of the NWA is pretty simple and mundane. Make more money by removing all borders, so capital can flow freely and workers all over the world compete against each other for who gets paid the lowest to have a job at all. The lack of self awareness among the New Left is really astonishing.
  15. There are a bunch of experiments where that phenomenon was studied. Milgram, Zimbardo and many more studied the actions as influenced by groups. This https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asch_conformity_experiments shows who processing of data can be influenced by peer pressure. Adapting to the group beliefs was beneficial for your and the group's survival and seems to be hard coded to the genome of social animals.
  16. That's essentially the Hilbert program which was put to an end by Gödel. Of course, using computers is very useful for proofs and what not, but it seems the human brain, so far, has abilities that exceeds those of Turing machines.
  17. Good catch. Thanks for the info.
  18. In theory, coming up with new theories is a trival task. In most cases, hypotheses about empirical phenomena are abductive reasoning. That can be well simulated with a Bayesian, self correcting approach. I listened to that podcast too. I remember that the argument was that AIs can theoretically process the information a human gathers in 80 years in one second. This is true to some extent for expert AI systems today, the Go Ai can study hundreds of games in a few seconds, while it takes humans days or months to do so. Here http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/explainer/2012/04/north_korea_s_2_mb_of_knowledge_taunt_how_many_megabytes_does_the_human_brain_hold_.html is a good article that gives you the specs of a human brain. In short, you have 100 billion neurons, running at a kilohertz, with about 2,5 petabytes of storage. Technology is still a far way away from that, when you compare that data with graphic cards that have a similar architecture (massive parallel computation). https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/10series/geforce-gtx-1070/
  19. I wasn't aware of that. Been some time since I have visited the Great White North. Still make some Poutine though
  20. You forgot fast food, weaponized autism, and the smell of your own farts.
  21. At least the people in Quebec have some pride in their white heritage. Other areas, like the GTA or Vancouver are overrun by Non-Whites because money laundering doesn't matter when it comes to real estate. Oh yeah, and enjoy the popping of the housing bubble.
  22. Intelligence is the ability to process information, find patterns, and come up with theories based on data. The sheer speed of artificial expert AI makes it better suited at those tasks than humans. A general AI will have the same advantages.
  23. Yeah, I am German too. But how is that related to the topic at hand? It's not like the media is able to communicate information about any topic in a neutral way. I will look into those. Of course it doesn't. A rational expert has his or her work reviewed. It doesn't matter what I think about him. He has a bunch of two hour long lectures. I noticed that he failed the first task of critisizing a theory, namely summarizing the positions correctly. Furthermore, you learn next to nothing about meteorology or climate science when you follow it through. I am sure he is a good classical philologist though.
