  1. Friendly invitation to meet up at the Hillsboro library. The room is on the second floor left of the stairs.http://www.meetup.com/Freedomain-Radio/Portland-OR/
  2. I am sure the surviving family members will have much relief to discover their loved one wasn't killed by one of them nasty tee-or-ists. That is like totally the worst. /sarc
  3. "-Despite the most strict and expensive emissions regulations in the country, California has the worst cumulative air quality of any state in the union."How does the air quality today compare to that of 20 years ago? "-California is the number 2 carbon emitter in the country next to Texas."Is carbon ,in fact, a pollutant?
  4. Epic rant by CC regarding the removal of the Libertarian Brutalism page on FB.Warning: bad words ahead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX2qG7jS0GE#t=125 (edit: looks like the censors won't allow this particular vid to embed)
  5. It's hard to go from the best, Stefan, to the rest, but variety is sometimes needed. Aside from Kokesh, I like Larken Rose, Christopher Cantwell, the articles on Daily Anarchist.Jason Lewis podcast is also good for a "mainstream" show. He is a miniarchist in name only, his message is that of volunteerism.
  6. This is not related the OP question but rather the discussion/condemnation of "the porn industry." The video posted about Why Porn Damages Lives is nothing more than an appeal to emotion. It has no philosophical content or arguments. People have sex, and some people have sex in front of camera. It's a matter of aesthetics. I could be wrong, but I see no difference in principle between the porn industry, the tobacco industry, or the ice cream industry. That people were treated badly as children (and possibly exploited) is not the fault of porn consumers anymore than diabetes can be attributed to chocolate lovers.
  7. A number of people support him, I agree. That is how Moore has amassed a small fortune. If someone thinks he is brilliant, I would say they have a blind spot to noticing counterfeit currency, which is probably due to something in their past.Nothing wrong with having a (strong) view/bias as long as it is consistent and logical. Moore's use of capitalism to point out the failure of capitalism does not quite meet that standard.
  8. Cultural Marxists, being the cowards they are, have no problem blaming the old, the white, and anyone else on their hit list as the culprits of society's ills. It's typical politics of identity, us the majority against you the minority, tactic of divide and conquer.
  9. Why have a Truth vid about Moore? Even a third grader realizes this guy who has made millions of dollars can't be taken seriously when he promotes anti-capitalist ideas. Outside a small number of commies who think this guy has anything useful to offer, who would be the target audience?
  10. Combinations of words that have no basis in reality are a sign of propaganda and should make you cringe. They are without logic, without reason, and anti empirical. A few examples: social contract, hate speech, social justice, structural violence, patriotic duty, social security, food desert, patriarchal society, etc.
  11. "In his December 29, 2008, column for Truthdig, Hedges stated that "the inability to articulate a viable socialism has been our gravest mistake." 'For what do we have structures of government, for what do we have institutions of state, if not to hold up all the citizenry, and especially the most vulnerable?”[21]" Author of I Don't Believe in Atheists http://www.salon.com/2008/03/13/chris_hedges/
  12. This issue/question has bothered me for years. Is the person who perfomrs murder for money, passion, patriotism or whatever irrational thing comes up less responsible, equally responsible, or more responsible than the person who ordered the hit? Is talking about or lobbying for murder as bad as actually doing murder? The Manson murders are a good example. If you believe Charles Manson was equally or more responsible for the "Manson murders," would you have have any objection to the recent murder of Anwar-Al-Awaki in Yemen by a drone? If you are not familiar with Al-Awaki, he was a publisher of a magazine. That was the crime for which he was executed by a government that claims the moral high ground in the tea-or-ism crusade. 3 years after they murdered Al-Awaki, they have "released" a piece of paper with some words on it that claim murder is an okay thing to do if they feel like it. It was deemed legal and justified. It's now part of "the law."http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/24/us/justice-department-found-it-lawful-to-target-anwar-al-awlaki.html?_r=0
  13. Violent even when not on the clock should automatically disqualify one from having a position of power. Law enforcer is a professional sadist. Worse are those who worship these scum as pillars of society.
  14. The Clintons have no ability to differentiate fact from fantasy. They would be lucky to be janitors in a free society. They are natural cretins and anyone with an ounce of self knowledge sees them for the parasites they are. Unfortunately, the other 99.99% of the public thinks they are great because of the "authority" delusion.
  15. To quote the (female) Clinton cretin "What difference does it make?"How would reality change if a fetus is relabled as a parasite? Is this a proxy for the ethics of the abortion debate? Like how would the world become a better place if we were to somehow figure out what to call a future human that is developing inside a woman?
  16. Mad props and kudos. Sharing your experience is a great lesson. Thank you.
  17. That's not anarchy. That's the epitome of statism. Between public school propaganda and hollywood, the public has been programmsed to believe the opposite of anarchy is the same as anarchy. It's flaming mohawks of Mel Gibosn 2.0.
  18. If you live in the world of words, this non-sense makes sense. You can twist perception. Biology won't budge.
  19. Public transportation is a leech on everyone, particularly those who buy petrol/car owners. They only exist because they have A) the right to steal funds, B) prohibitied competition by putting the automobile at a competitive disadvantage through both fees/regulations and less subtle means such as limiting parking space and confiscating part of the roadway for bike lanes. It creates congestion in which they interpret as signal for more public transportation. In my city they steal from business owners to fund their pet projects, and in turn the business owners pass those costs to their customers. I guess that is an indirect theft/tax. Public transportation is 100% statist garbage. In a free society, it's safe to assume mass transit would not even resemble what we have today. It might not even be necessary.
  20. 100% of "Americans" have to live in fear of speaking the truth. 100% of "Americans" have no freedom of associaton despite a piece of paper with some words called the 1st ammendment.Do you care if your neighbor gets lung cancer from smoking? Do you care if your neighbor has gained a few pounds? Do you care if your neighbor is getting enough sleep?
  21. There are no words to describe the lunacy we call public education. $76,000 for showing up and breathing is what some teachers are being paid. It's criminal the oppourtunity costs these kids, and their parents, are facing. http://eagnews.org/prom-slogan-highlights-cps-failures/
  22. This is all the rage on FB and other social media. Notice no one actualy cares to go after the cause of homelessness (legal violence/statism, bad parenting), but instead to focus on private and public efforts that discourage homeless from sleeping in certain areas. Where people are allowed to sleep is debatable. The causes of homelessness are not. The standard pollitical non sense/rhetoric: " I care about the poor. We need a tax on _______, and _______, to help fund shelters for the homeless." blah, blah, blah rubbish BS. The reality: the public safety net provided by the social contract ain't so soft and cushy.apparently this one is an overpass in China. http://breakingdownthnews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/the-homeless-spikes-are-popping-up.html There is one in front of posh condos in London.http://stream.aljazeera.com/story/201406091243-0023804
  23. Seems not a day goes by I don't hear someone having ambivalence about FB or "social" media in general. I find it quite fascinating.Am I frustrated with FB? Not as much as I used to be. I only have a small number of friends. My friends list are people I have known to some degree at some point outside of FB. I am pretty active on my account posting stuff almost everyday. I am lucky to get 2-3 likes in a week and maybe one light weight comment. Keep in mind all of my posts are made to suggest and start a conversation. Yet, it is like pulling teeth to get anything of substance. Now contrast that with what my friends post: a picture of their dog or a pic of them at Disneland. That sort of stuff gets all sorts of likes and constant back and forth banter in the comments. Like I said, it's quite fascinating.
  24. They have one no tipping restaurant in Vancouver, BC, and several in California. Now "progressive" Seattle wants in on the action. If you dare read this article, be sitting down and ready for a shit storm of logical fallacies and inconstistencies AKA Marxism.http://www.esquire.com/blogs/food-for-men/seattle-tipping
