Ya' know, I was just trying to help, with this link. Discount Revolvers, Handguns & Pistols for Sale Except I'm mostly seeing semi-autos, not revolvers, which make for truly terrible odds. I think this is metaphoric. -
It's "kettle" not "cattle." If you weigh six hundred pounds with hooves that are hell on the carpet, then that is always going to be a social hurdle. Does that make the saying more sensible, the pot calling the kettle black? Tho', nobody cooks over a sooty wood flame any more, have no idea where the saying originated, so it could be any two words at all, which ends up being racist without knowing why. Language, aaargghh!--I see why math is attractive.

We lost hair because our ancestors were living near proto-Nairobi, not proto-Spitzbergen. But that's old hat. Notice your wording. You assign inherent value to homosexuality, you good closet livveral you. Gills and such partly evolved into other structures. I think ear drums stem from ancient jaw structures, waaaay early in fishes. We ditched our tails. But we still have freckles. An appendix. That danged tail-end spinal remnant that hurts like hell if it gets hit. Evolution didn't value those things per se, they just weren't enough problem to root out. Remember, we are complex code, and rooting out something isn't as simple as one snip, no repercussions. Think how easy it is to fatally crash software by making one change. An organism is worse. Bluntly put, homosexuality has such a trivial effect on species-wide existence (and it IS a numbers game), that it's not even on evolutionary radar. I know that with overcrowding rats, there are changes in behavior, etc. But mostly, species don't overcrowd in a laboratory. If they population bloom, then some hawks show up and dial it back. So those behaviors might just be leftover clutter, not evolved strategy. If later cultures make use of them, fine. But that's like using a stone as a tool; the stone was not created for later tool use.

You wouldn't steal a car...
AccuTron replied to Koroviev's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
Wait...we can cannibalize our slaves??? When was that made possible, what link is it? And to think of all that money I've been wasting at Safeway.... Yeah, I guess it is like comparing a large random rock to a finished stone sculpture. I think apes. I, ape, figure out a way to use a stick to obtain and eat termites. You other apes mimic me, and I don't care as long as you stay away from my termites. You steal my stick, and that's another matter. The song is the mimic, the car is the stick. Tho'...I don't want you taking my termites, and that conceptually nudges into royalty-land. (At first I didn't notice the words "for profit.") -
Boone, Asheville, Banner Elk, Lenoir? A cave in Grandfather Mountain? You look possibly Southern, an indistinct valuation, native or import? Please, send hot grits, dash of butter. Pecan pie if it's not too sweet. Collard greens, yum. I's a yankee by bringing up, but like Tecumseh Sherman on his first time around, loved my extended visit to Y'all-Land.

It also highlights another aspect of female oppression : Overall, if we factor out deaths caused by aging, the mortality rate for black men—from all causes—in the United States is 1,104 per 100,000, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For white men, the mortality rate is 878.5 deaths per 100,000. For white women, that figure is 630.8 per 100,000; for black women, it’s 752.5.

On Steam, there is a game called UberStrike. Point One, go sign up, it's free. A few years ago, it was FB's #1 game. Players from over 60 countries. Created about 2006 by a small independent company, a first person shooter designed for youngsters, so no gore, blood, heads flying, or gnarly zombies (except for one zombie costume). No goals, achievement levels, or plot. No creature avatars except players. Just reflexes and cunning, pure skill. Excellent gameplay. Forums noted for good mind and heart. Somewhere in the last couple of years, being FB's number one, they did a game upgrade which included a major laundry list of bug fixes and new features. Alas, one bug was introduced: You couldn't enter a game. You'd click on a game, and go prepare veggies for dinner. If it let you in, you'd click on a team, and go fix rice. You might then be able to play with dinner, but if a game glitch meant leaving the game, start over. Pretty disastrous, hey? That would kill outright many ventures. The attendance only dropped by about half. There were millions of players worldwide who would make dinner or paint the bathroom waiting to get into a game. That is devotion. Come see why we are devoted. (No mercy, your learning curve will be thunderous. Yet very nice people.) I'm also making this pitch for this reason: The browser-based game fixed that bug after months(!), and was slowly recovering, then a swarm of game play hackers hit. It became difficult to play, attendance plummeted, which made it impossible. (The company CMUNE is stretched trying to keep up with new games for other platforms.) Then the switch to Steam. The hacker problem dropped dramatically. They still show up, they are reported. It's minor, and there are other games to join. But the attendance is low. So I'm asking anyone here who thinks they have WASD skills to test them to the limit, and tell your friends. For children of all ages. Thank you.

This may be one of the signature posts on all of FDR. We have what should seem the simplest thing possible, two plus two equals four, unless it isn't, and we have what, three interpretations so far? What hope is there for all other issues?!!! -
I said "...note that Jesus was not a warlord..." I see how it could be confusing putting both in the same sentence. I'll edit with parentheses. And yes, now that you mention it, almost certainly Sikh. If I correctly recognize the headwear. Thanks for the Quran quotes.

[YouTube] The Truth About Gun Control
AccuTron replied to Freedomain's topic in New Freedomain Content and Updates
I look forward to investigating more of these links. The first link I clicked, the International Crime, showed some darker-is-worse shading on the world map, usually in a predictable fashion. The standout was Greenland, at 10-20 homicides per 100,000 one of the worst categories. Current population is 57,000, indicating a total homicide count of maybe a dozen or fewer. I can't help but wonder if it was one bad bar fight, and Greenland is usually a lighter shade of homicide. -
The Joy Of Asking What If [VIDEO] 9:29 duration This is the creator of XKCD, we get to see what he looks like! This will only be a positive experience. The first third or so, an entertaining must-watch, is the answer he worked out in mathematical detail, to the question, what if a pitcher sends a baseball to the batter at 90% of the speed of light?

"Porn actors are people who get paid for how good they look, how they act in front of a camera, for what they're willing to do and can do in front of a camera, and for how well they can titillate the viewer so as to throw them into a fantasy world where they're in the middle of the action. So how is this any different than what Hollywood actors do?" At first I thought this was a description of a contemporary newscaster.

First, you have a great/grateful attitude. Kudos. I wonder how old you are. I smoked pot since I was in my early twenties. Never did booze or t'baccy. (I knew that was bad.) I had severe problems, all kinds of abuse...etc., and pot was my only relief from grief. I had nobody to help me in other ways, curious to ponder if FDR had been around then.... Many years later...still no booze...I have done tons of mental work, am a totally refurbished person. I still like pot. A puff now and then, not required, more like a small glass of wine instead of an empty bottle. I recall that for many years it was so confusing, the initial abuse vs. the pot pain relief. If you mentally confuse the two, it will trip you up. You will smoke pot as long as you need to, at some level you are meeting a need. As you refine yourself, your pot use will automatically adjust. This is NOT visible to you now, like the ground way ahead is not visible, when you're on the beginning of a trail. But it's there! I suggest not considering your pot use a bad thing. (It's not booze!!!--value that!) It is a symptom, not a cause. Mentally, get that. Then you will be more focused on the real issues, the sources. -
As I understand it: Old Testament said it was okay to slaughter villages if they're in your way and you're Jewish. (See Palestine in the late '40's to see this continued.) New Testament, which supersedes the Old, presents Jesus as the Prince of Peace, the ultimate non-aggessor, not counting tossing a few temple vendors from the courtyard. Early Mohammed was a nobody in an unhappy place. His original message was peace and inclusiveness. Over time, Mohammed's battles became successful, his followers grew tremendously, and his writings tended to become more "kill anyone who isn't us." (Note that Jesus was not a warlord.) The Koran is taught as whatever was written later supersedes what was written earlier. So as written, Islam WAS of peace, but became something more like Krupp Armaments. There is a local Muslim (I presume) liquor store. The men I see wear head cloth from that part of the world where that is done, don't know which country yet. They are SO pleasant and peaceful; in fact I'll drop by again just to chat it up, see who they are.

2+2!=5 Is that a typo? Or 2 factorial, which is equal to 2 anyway. Either way, I got a math nostalgia hit seeing a number as factorial. " It wouldn't make sense to "talk neuro" about climate change" The above is from the article. I beg to differ. HONEST research shows it's 100% fraud, falsified data, totally bogus techniques, huge money... but trying to tell someone that I read every word of (sic) ~1,500 websites on the topic, over 60+ hours, gets me a dirty look quite often, "Oh you bad person, you researched honestly!!" Oops, somebody might not be the silver clad social warrior they thought they were, can't have that. In passing, is anyone here capable of noting that many websites might amount to something? Amazes me how that is just ignored when I try to explain to someone. God forbid I could get them to look at even one bit of evidence. EGO REFUSAL!!! And that is totally neuro. -
Ouch! Perhaps Bill Gates should call in:)
AccuTron replied to DCLugi's topic in Libertarianism, Anarchism and Economics
A fair question of those two deaths out of many thousands, is what is the projected death rate w/o the vaccines? (I don't know.) The other items are concerning, such as faked signatures, etc. However, as to Gates...do you know how he got started with that abomination called Windows, by intimidation forced upon the world with endless blue screen crashes and huge amounts of wasted money? I can supply that briefly if anyone wishes, but for now, know that he's basically a mobster. That's how all those billions came into being in the first place. Maybe he's trying to quell his conscience as the first truly powerful cyber-bully. (Bullying workplaces into cyber/computer distress.) -
Firstly, there's no such thing as a "standard porn unit." The people involved in one place can be quite different from those in another. Like real life. I won't watch something where the guy is a jerk, or something else triggers my "ain't right" sensors. I like SM videos, and from one outlet, with the models seen over and over, there are unscripted moments, mere instants within hours, where the female sub gives the male dom a glance, with eyes and/or smile that you can't miss, saying "OH yeah, that is just right, give me MORE!" She's getting her wishes. Probably paid decently; w/o or supplementing another job with hours on her feet or sitting in an office chair, or commuting long distances, which are hard on health. I can easily agree that past abuse might lead to many porn actresses, but we're talking many thousands of women, if not millions by now. I don't believe all of them are abused. Maybe many, but not all.

To clarify...the DNA difference between us and chimps may only be 2%. But in recent years it's been discovered that some kind of RNA can alter the heck out of how that DNA is expressed. Like having a keyboard with shift/option keys. So it's more than 2% difference overall. But that doesn't change the discussions.

The effects of a can of Coca-Cola on your body
AccuTron replied to Alan C.'s topic in Science & Technology
Someone in these forums linked to a chemical pathway kind of talk, and the presenter showed that long term, HFCS is actually a poison. Not just fat making, but doing something bad. Sugar: The Bitter Truth - YouTube I think that poison part is near the end, not sure where. The talk is high value all the way thru, so listen to it all if you haven't already. I thought I'd already know much of it, but was surprised by new info all the way thru. -
Sex and Character by Otto Weininger
AccuTron replied to Spaceballs's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
I'm partway into it, and it's a very interesting work. I was first struck by passing comments re feminism around the year 1900. Could apply today. Also a remark about treating all students as identical. -
I've read that during WW2 there was The Dutch Famine, I think it was called, Nazi induced starvation. It affected those alive during the time, but thru epigenetic effects, also affected their children's future body weights. I forget the details but it was something like the original starvation affected the genetics of those currently alive, maybe stuck some methyl group onto something here and there, as a survival response, but those changes reproduced, and the children were affected. A fairly pure population study with the Netherlands, and Israel is surely much more mixed as far as those who suffered directly in their lineage, and those who arrived otherwise. But it begs the question, are there epigenetic effects somehow at play in Israel? Short of starvation, are there mental states which would also have an effect epigenetically. (I'm using that word as I understand it, to mean that our genetics are as it were original source code, but environmental effects can alter it, which then are passed on.) ===== Other topic: A few years ago I viewed several hours of video debunking the Holocaust as presented. Before I get into that, another tidbit from Military History Quarterly...did you see the movie Schindler's List? I didn't but had it confirmed that the movie German camp commander lives in a really nice house that overlooks the prison camp. In reality, he lived in a standard basic house that Germans would standard basically build for any facility commander. And it was behind a hill, he COULD NOT SEE the camp from his home. So that's TWO LIES right there, from Jewish Stephen Spielberg, twisting the truth. Isn't it bad enough already???? Why lie? How many other lies in that movie, or elsewhere? Jewish state existence is based on a really hairy reality, but why does it require lies to support it? Because it was lots of lies to begin with? We're talking Commie Russia and Nazi Germany, the two biggest giant death machines Earth has seen, trying to kill each other. I think propaganda was already in use, duh. Russia had plenty of reason to inflate the facts. Out of hours and hours of presentation, some nuggets I recall are the fact that the eyewitness reports all come from only a few people, with highly suspicious motivations, often urban dwellers with a grudge, or wanting to save their skins. They drew camp maps that anyone with any rural experience would spot as nonsense, such as a drinking well near a body-piling area. It is claimed that in Holocaust compendiums, the maps are left out, as being too obviously bogus. Does anyone have access to such a compendium, to check? I may visit the library on that one. Why shave heads on someone who is to be gassed that day? Makes no sense. Head are shaved to treat lice, also with Zyklon B fumigating the clothing (which is why piles of empty Zyklon cans are found), and you don't treat lice on someone who's about to be killed. There was a bunch more material, full of logical inconsistencies. The Holocaust occurred, but which version? Israel's entire justification for existence is that story, and there is huge reason to distort. And that psychology is part of their cultural fabric, to lie, lie, lie, because they are the most godly people on the planet, who were punished for it. Something like that. That's psycho.
