See, dear @RichardY(not condescending but trying to sound warm, even after having had a few unsuccessful past trials with convos, this might be my last try) While I'm noticing you're coming up with vaguely related and constructivity leaning bursts, I usually wonder how have you verified (if at all) that what you are putting forward hadn't been implemented (bribery 4th point, btw isn't part of my vocabulary). It almost seems as if there's a lack of desire from your side to try to understand what is really going on. Let me say that its not required (naturally) and feel free to stay distant from asking clarifiers... it's just again I'm starting to feel that I am loosing interest in what you have to say, rapidly. (honestly telling you my experience) What do you think about that?

The problem is in effort. Requires no effort = ok. Any effort = no workee. (I did try Aesop's fables back then, even designed a custom 'choose your own adventure game', only to find out they preferred to know the outcomes first or if not they'd rather act passive and give up... didn't work. I was perplexed for weeks afterwards. Interestingly, it only happens at a certain age range. Younger or older ones don't have such a disconnect from their self.)

Thanks... (?) , I'd have done that long ago if points a, b, c, d2, e, (? not sure you saw them) weren't an obstacle. My heart breaks every time because otherwise they are all good kids, it's just that (seemingly) nothing excites them. (When asked what do they like and why, eventually we have to move on because of the boring silence and emptiness that follows...)

Hi @Dylan Lawrence Moore , giving credit where credit is due... Hey man, that's a really good article! ° authentic ° backed up by research (informative, yet interesting to read) ° several angles ° has plenty of options for giving the readership a constructive lifeline to keep moving towards betterment ° not hyper-partisan Thumbs up, man! Barnsley p.s. (What kind of protective gear/measures do you guys use when 'going down dirty'? Heavy duty gloves, safety boots, triple layer, pickers(to grab stuff from a distance?)?)

I don't think that answers my question. (no obligation, just noticing it... also, let me clarify) While, certainly it would explain why you said... If you thought that the ideas were worth sharing, your perspective&attitude would be different on it. As in... Of course, nobody cares about your ideas (no offence). The world is full of them(innovation, new perspectives). In the thickness of the noise, you gotta break through somehow to be noticed. Making people see just how valuable it is that you have to offer. However, in order to do that you must be convinced, those ideas worth not giving up after a few hurdles. (not getting traction is just that, an initial hurdle that indicates the need for refinement... though you interpretation is completely different.) That's why I concluded what I wrote, because it seems you lack motivation/drive big time... and I was curious if it was due to the ideas being weak (hard to believe in them for you) in the first place. Or perhaps it's related to self esteem...can't tell. Too little information is available from you. If you aren't 'visibly' enthusiastic about the thing, why do you expect anyone to be captivated enough to give it a go or invest their time in it, checking it out? What do you think? Have I explained myself clear enough?

Is it because you don't consider it important enough for others to see?

Trying to skip rungs or the intermediary steps won't work, I guarantee you that. That’s why the aim was for foundational "What little, but existing tangible feats could be expanded further"... in short. Given how big your desired goal is compared to the current stage you are in, aiming for failing at a lot of things (in action!!!) should be embraced by you. (But that won't happen unless you have succinct, deep, interconnected answers to the 3 Wh- questions.) Hope, this helps.

Are women capable of agency?
barn replied to Fashus Maximus's topic in Men's Issues, Feminism and Gender
@Elizbaeth That's ok. I can see where this is not going, and that's fine too. (no curiosity imo) All the best, Barnsley (p.s. I do mean, all the best.)- 95 replies
