  1. Any ideas? Has that ever worked though throughout history? The more wealth a person produces the greater the incentive to keep them under the whip. Is that in effect creating a country and state again? I think that it may be a good idea to try and create more competing states where possible, but getting dirty in politics in some way, is in my opinion unavoidable.
  2. There's loads of ludicrous stuff going on, from the Bloomberg article you linked to it looks like the USA dairy farmers were pooling their resources to try and get a better price from the larger dairy processors. But got screwed over by the more politically powerful dairy processors. What might sound even crazier is that there is cheese smuggling into Canada http://www.niagarafallsreview.ca/2015/09/18/niagara-cop-found-guilty-of-cheese-smuggling I think their dairy farmer industry is more politically powerful and just to buy a dairy quota for a small farm is over $1 million dollars https://mises.org/library/cartels-and-subsidies-canadian-agriculture Probably thousands of examples of things being screwed up in different industries, can think of a few others such as logging and Maple syrup in Canada, Fish processing in Norway and Iceland as well as the lack of one in England. Horse meat in lasagna.... Might make an entertaining presentation of the different absurdities, kind of only talking about the symptoms though. What might be better, if the state is not going to be eliminated overnight would be to have more local governments. Make California independent or Texas, on a more practical scale have Flanders independent. Maybe there is some other way, but I have a feeling milk is going to be the least of people's worries at least in Europe.
  3. MGTOW hasn't something like this happened before, circa 793AD Lindisfarne?
  4. I wouldn't say aggressive, though I really hate to say it, confirmation bias(Not a Psychologist). Nothing wrong with looking at traits, though shifts thinking to a more statistical approach and unless someone's an actuary or state official, perhaps not too useful imo. On a more personal level having a list of questions to ask might be better, unless they feel like saying "What are you my fucking Dr?". Resolving complex topics in just a few handfuls of posts seems ludicrous to me.
  5. "But choose wisely, for while the true Grail will bring you life, the false Grail will take it from you." "He chose... Poorly." No Shit, hahahahahahaha. How do you get someone interested in SK? You don't. Having said that, you could try various social activities, get more involved in a community. Various fables, old childrens stories, Angry Birds Movie(Not seen it)..... SK to me seems basically a lot like psychology(Not a Psychologist). Covers a wide spectrum, ultimately comes down to who you are, though ethics is a very important component.
  6. Really, where did you learn this? Moodiness and Aggressiveness are low IQ traits. Happier? Perhaps an interesting thought experiment, anyone care to elaborate.
  7. You're not a rocket scientist!!!! That makes YOU! ignorant. Maybe, instead of looking for traits that could have any number of causes. It may be better to ask questions instead. On a larger scale sure traits could be useful to look at, to ascertain a degree of intelligence, smarts or cunning; though that sounds to me more like livestock management.
  8. I looked at Dr. Jordan Peterson on Youtube, bit of a slow tempo to his voice, but I guess his intent to make the world a better place is apparent. Wim Hof looks like an interesting character, "The Iceman Cometh" a phrase I haven't heard for a long time. Never heard of either person before or at least registered, thank you.
  9. Sir, are you classified as "Alt-Right"? "Negative, I am a meat popsicle." (Bruce Willis, 5th Element) Interesting seeing many of the different right wing groups fight it out. Perhaps to have a more centred view of the world is to be very fortunate. The more left-wing groups seem content to hold onto political power or double down. So much of the economy of the UK seems geared towards people with a more left wing out look or in group preference. The Alt-right does seem to have its figureheads. The ones mentioned at the beginning having a strong alternate media presence, though maybe there are other people not widely known doing great work behind the scenes. A lot of the Alt-right figures I've never heard of until recently. Perhaps Hegel wasn't so much of a philosopher, but some sort of herd psychologist.
  10. Team Jihadi is basically the winning team demographically. What teams are effectively winning? Looking for knowledge, ease of participation, material profit, not a particularly empathetic person, though annoyingly I find justice somewhat important to me. If opinion of self doesn't count, then does opinion of others count either?
  11. Lot of subtle influences in the film. Sounds like a preversion. (Inspired joke from the Movie Dr Strangelove, "You'll have to answer to the Coca-Cola company") ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Psychologically, though I wonder how the ideas of control, freewill, reality and illusion contrast. Maybe there is some out side influence, but a person has no way of knowing without some empirical reality. To say I accept I have freewill, is different from saying I accept I have control. Though perhaps it is better to say I have full control, the ideas of optimism and pessimism also come to mind. Regardless of somehow recognising everything some-kind of spiritual enlightenment, what kind of psychological make up would help to make a person the most resilient.
  12. I would say that the people you are around or listen to on a regular basis do have a profound influence on your "Will" or Mind. Kind of distorting to what you might perceive as your own Freewill. I think one of the most important choices a person makes is who to spend their time with and the acceptance that relationships, at least when a person is older can be entirely voluntary. I mostly listen to Stefan on youtube, but recently listening to podcasts even the forum seems to have some similar trains of thought. Manifested on Youtube a kind of "World Spirit". A thought of my "own" from the film Dr Strangelove, where an airforce general has gone insane keeps talking about "Purity of Essence"(Freewill?) Kind of makes me think of the recent US election, where even though Hilary was clearly Evil(or Damaged Goods), a part of me was hoping that Stefan would stick to "Purity" or "Footrubs" for Donald Trump even though that would be clearly perverse imo. Fluoridation Mandrake, Childrens Ice cream and never will you see a commie drink tap water and not without good reason. Dr Strangelove (bits of speech)
  13. Is there a better organisation than FDR? In terms of content, quality, heart/balls and release times; Philosophy, Self-Knowledge, Economics, Peaceful Parenting, Journalism, History, Politics, Call-in-Shows, Religion, Save Our Souls The West, Movie Reviews, Books.......(probably missed somethings). Or if not better(which can be subjective), similar. Out of the Hundreds of millions of people in The West is there someone/s with as excellent an organisation and passion. Could be a Priest, Philosopher, former Business Tycoon Genius, Therapist, Communist, anyone? But Not a Buddhist monk(They drone on), Generic Clickbait Smooth Talking Philosophy or Focused on trivia(so generally hardcore and triggering). Specifically does anyone know anybody who is seemingly as Genius imo(Or at least well practised) as Stefan at Self-Knowledge? One of the ways I became acquainted with Austrian Economics, then Libertarianism and then Philosophy was looking at book reviews on Amazon. Its kind of annoying when people say X person or idea is crap, but don't even give alternatives, if not an argument. Does anyone have a good method for searching for better information and Self Knowledge, if not through an empirical method, perhaps more intuitively. Something greater than the sum of its parts.
  14. Talk to her directly. Go with what you have experience with, plus quicker and cleaner. I like the idea of something like a pen friend though. As it would give you a way of getting to know someone better, put your thoughts in order. The problem might be distances, ages, availability (but, perhaps they know someone), topics, as well as the time spent writing, plus in the western world what type of girl actually writes letters anymore etc. (can Skype them though).
  15. Hey that is reassuring to know the next time an Islamic Terrorist blows himself up, you can be marked as alive by a friend. Interesting that you mentioned Brussels (25.5% Muslim), I had almost forgotten about the terrorist attack on the airport and train station. Was thinking briefly about Belgium as a country recently, it is in effect 2 main cultures Walloons and Flemish. What might help prevent ethnic and religious tensions blowing up big style again... Would be if the Flemish gained independence and stopped funding the capital of the EU. The fence is too late for France, England and probably Germany. The language is also a major problem as most people around the world speak at least a little English or maybe French if from Africa, but not Hungarian. Western Europe is also very decadent given the relative wealth and hedonism of the baby boomers, its also has become largely antithetical to Christianity (bulldozing cemeteries, destroying bibles in schools). I think Freeing the Flemish from Belgium, considering Walloons have a veto on all political decision might be the way to go as one step. Would be Ironic if a major focal point for both World Wars and Napoleonic had some big political changes before conflict breaks out. Germany seems to have gone full blown fascist again, though Britain isn't exactly far behind. Though how practical secession is who knows, maybe there is a better solution.
  16. Well if the opposite of thinking could be considered PANIC!!!! The thought of discipline comes to mind. So various "disciplines" generally follow. Probably one of the most important questions you can ask yourself. (Can anyone else think of others?) Be very careful though with the answer you give yourself. Also don't Focus on too many disciplines, IMHO no more than 3, "maybe" 5 and be specific. i.e if I am going to be disciplined in Mathematics do I want Calculus or just be quick at Arithmetic, if so Darts maybe better. The environment is pretty essential, if the Titanic is going down and some people are still listening to the Violinists, drinking brandy or contemplating their probable imminent demise. I don't know what proportion of Brain activity is geared towards the more primitive survival, tribal side but I think its most of it, hence why emotion is probably the most important consideration. “You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one master and love the other. Or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other. You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.” Maybe there's a Jedi Master out there somewhere so you can test yourself or when you can walk the rice paper without leaving a trace....
  17. Could do the same but with Eastern Europe, not as decadent as the West, kind have got Trump as an example. Or I guess there's the Sexbot option, maybe one of those Asian Corporations might get some housework upgrades installed, though hopefully they won't burst into flames like the Note and I wouldn't trust their testing practices. Or be awesome, beneficent. Too much work for most, so just virtue signal like crazy. But I don't know, path of least resistance.......
  18. Look after number one, don't be reluctant to use whatever benefits you can for yourself and family because the migrants won't be. If you can stomach it, get involved with your local council or rathaus(sounds like Rat House to me). Perhaps one thing you could do, is try and plant different ideas in people minds, though more importantly join an organisation with a following aim. I don't know any. Secession Secede Bavaria from the rest of Germany, it has a lot of the wealthy companies and a Catholic religion, appeal to the local greed of the major corporations and the desired preservation of the peoples culture there. Starve the central Government of Germany of funding. Show clips of hotels owner being thrown out to make room for migrants, have them crying next to their family to appeal to female influence(It could be them) or maybe there's a better way. Secede Schleswig-Holstein and follow Denmark's example of a more centre or right wing Government. Examples of pseudo-economic succession, Republic of Ireland with lower Corporation Tax, than the EU standard and the channel Islands. The Brexit Situation Don't count on replicating the Brexit vote. In many ways it was a freak occurrence, here's why. When Eastern Europe was essentially admitted to the EU Britain and Sweden put no limits on immigration. As a result, the area that I live in a big Agricultural area ended up having the highest % vote for Brexit. One general effect, as an example has been new truck drivers earn the same as low skilled labour, going from £15-20 per hour to £7!!! (Not including training).Meanwhile property prices have skyrocketed. London in effect is a country of its own and ended up voting to overwhelming stay. Change the Legal System Probably the most difficult in larger governments. With more invested interests. Change from a Code of Laws to a Common Law system. What you choose to do is ultimately up to you and obviously depends on whether you have close family, a wife, girlfriend and/or career. We are probably in the same boat (Das Boot come to mind). Funding and effectiveness also come to mind, as well as a narrow window of opportunity. and Happy Christmas 2016 seems like it has been a pivotal year.
  19. The point is not to be fully coherent. The point is to gain knowledge and convey productive meaning, to get closer to Truth. If you want coherence go debate with robots. Marginal Costs of Production and Utility are not automation, they are elements of Central Planning and Keynesian Economics.
  20. That's because you're being stupid. If you wish to respond fine, just don't be rude about it.
  21. Without context, no it does not make sense. So where is the context for "unit". An AI doesn't steam roll jobs, because it is artificial, people do in their own minds. Automation is programmed by people, the value is up to them. Really then where are the mechanics and why does it say "jobs and" in the title. And what are people? The universe was a reference to a quote from a famous scientist, I missed out the word believe, it sounded poetic to me, maybe good as a thought experiment.
  22. Merry Christmas!, Donnadogsoth. A calming picture.
  23. Because I think the correct term would be Man Whore instead. In the movie Beavis and Butthead Do America, they were looking for Sluts in Vegas.
