Hi @Sean Thorburn Not the happiest song... How about this : An upset entity is hoping to lure a currently neutral acting other into a situation where it could act with power over it. (hunger for power, resentment, cowardice, bottled up emotions) p. s. (neither a happy one but I really like it -> Tool - Parabola (Extended))

Hi @g19 Most likely, yes. Having said that, there are many able men/women who aren't as well-built and irrefutablely lead great lives, especially if they have and follow principles such as the peaceful parenting or dedication to (some of the ) virtues. That's also likely, yet another reason why vetting could have been entirely misaligned for the fella, a bit of "historical reflection" could have cleared it up. (((I'm completely at amiss, why not a single word has been spoken in regards to parents... trust me, the parents must have been "pieces of work" themselves. Wha..? Why no U speak them?! Clearly, he didn't just choose worthless support groups, had no aid when approaching the trap this 9 looking arachnid set... I don't think it was wise from Stefan Molyneux to skip that at all... But yet, what do I know? I only see a small slice.))) Do you have "beta" friends? (My thinking, like attracts like. It's unusual for betas to keep a close bond with strong and assertive individuals.) Oh, no-no-no... That's just going to make him resent the bearers of truth. As painful it is to observe, one should never offer to help when none has requested aid. To whom is it more important to see, the self-righteous? No-no-no, let people fall into their demise if they choose to. Sad, fiddlestick yeah! They'll only pull you with them if they haven't tried to get a foothold first (at least, a bit) for themselves at first. (me thinks)

Sorry (*3). (1) Paraphrasing Stefan M. 's story about someone in a(2)n academic setup, taking a bunch of 'uppers' before a test. I also feel (3) for the op's state/frame of mind. Though, could be a 'mashed typist'. - on the day of the test - mt: Man! I've just written THE best, 8 page essay of my life! - when the results are out - classmate: What did you get? mt: I failed. classmate: Wha...? Why?! mt: I wrote it in one line. classmate: Don't get it. mt: Words on top of each other? >classmate :...¯\_(ツ)_/¯... thinking ("The lights are on, but... ")

Not yet. (It isn't an unlucky coincidence that there's no full translation 'still' into English, but there are German and French versions. Almost like, it's being 'regulated'.)

Does anyone want to make an app for sentence completions ala N. Brandon?

Hi @hewiestolarz How are things progressing? Need any help with anything, related? (hope you don't mind my curiosity) -
That's great, well done!

Hi @MercurySunlight Imo, the more people are exposed to variety, the best they 'ken' keep a level head. The reason why nobody turns 'blue' associating malaria with 'funky smelling air' is thanks to dissemination of 'knaledge(ref.'here in my gara..') in tandem with seeking reason&evidence. The 20% is always ahead of the 80%. Culture requires that, if we don't allow it... not good. "When trying to sort out if someone is a controlling Cluster B type, just try telling them "No". Or give them a choice and see their standing with taking responsibility for things, being truthful.

Dealing with childhood trauma, part of me still wants to "quit"
barn replied to tarker12's topic in Self Knowledge
Hello @tarker12 That's an interesting approach, stimuli. Don't know how much truth is in "gave me the love that I had none of growing up" because... (and please notice, how I'm not saying you didn't have such an experience or that you weren't stating the truth to your best of knowledge... at this point, I'm more than likely to believe you have pretty much described what went on in your mind 1:1...thanks.) ... I dabble a bit in physics and to my current understanding, time-travel requires a lot of 'special, special relativity', in other words, discounting the highly-unlikely (Occam) I am guessing you could have 'imitated' what comforting, attentiveness could've meant in a scenario that you recreated during the session, aimed at 'reliving' a less than perfect recollection, decades later. (I know, I could be wrong here...) Besides, I have clear memories of having done something similar myself, that ended in ME, crying like a little girl (not that crying, or little girls are diminutive or anything... naturally.) Still creepy, but I obviously still don't fully grasp the whole thing, so please, forgive my discomfort. Right-o. Not malleable. Context switch? I'm meaning, power-down one, the other kicks in, a combination of some sorts? In situations where an unexpected outcome appears, the previous expectations having shifted brings about a new character for me... i.e. 'I thought I was going to react X, Interestingly I'm experiencing something quite different. What's this?' Thumbs up! Smashin', you are doing much more than I, or the majority because you are actually doing it consciously. (a good reminder, why I should do more of that when I can.) It will be sorted out, if you keep at it. During the slow, how 'bout seeing what the good old NATHANIEL BRANDON sentence completion could do for you? On an individual level, I think this is gold. Small, heavy and veeery precious to have. I have listened to all of them prior to recommending, again. IT doesn't mean at all, they'll be as useful as I had thought they might be. (no expectations here, just wishing you the best, having sounded sympathetic back, way then. I think, you know what's best for you.) It's always easier to be nice to nice people. Big, fat, thumbs up, man! -
Hullo... I see. Thanks for the added details. (don't know what/if I should say stuff about it)

Hello @Sean Thorburn Just a bit more mate and good Missus! Just a bit more, you'll get 'there'! (...and I'll be very grateful for your persistence, with a broad smile on my face that not many will be able to comprehend. Even so, uncomparable with your(your team) joy for a well deserved achievement! ) I mean, these are just words mainly for you, I understand (I haven't offered any tangible, real help so far), currently I'm not able to offer more(me thinks). If you thought I could do something from (currently) Spain, let me know. Send a pm if sensitive, dunno. Quite happy to go and ask stuff for you if it made any difference. I mean it.
