  1. This might just be me of course. But of all the bald men I've known in my life. None of them have used a baseball cap to disguise it. Then again perhaps it's a cultural thing, insofar as I'm British and flat caps rather than baseball caps are perhaps more popular. That said, this isn't a moral issue of course. The thing is make up is fine for women to wear. The less the better in my opinion. But seriously if it wasn't just women that wore make up and men were doing it too, then it might be reasonable to suggest men are being hypocritical in this regard. Using deodorant or washing oneself is quite different from enhancing oneself beyond basic hygiene. It isn't the same really. Then again perhaps I misunderstood you tjt.
  2. Hi Bozidar, I noticed that you are from Europe and thought you might like to join this FaceBook group where the members regularly discuss philosophy, relationships and philosophy. A safe space for Freedomain folk to hang out and also arrange Meetups too. You're welcome if Facebook is your thing. Otherwise good stuff for reaching out. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FDR.Europe/
  3. Yes, you hit a raw nerve with your Grandma no doubt. The dirty little secret is out because it's meant to manipulate men and they don't want to admit it. It's why these days I find the women I meet that don't wear makeup to be much more likely to be someone I can potentially admire and share values with, whether romantically or just as a friend.
  4. We have a Meetup planned for (Sat) 16 August. Pot luck lunch requires that we all bring along a dish of our choice for everyone to eat. Plenty of walking, eating, games too and plenty of conversation. So far there is a great bunch joining us. The links are below. FaceBook event Meetup Website (non Facebook) Or you can PM me privately if you prefer of course (via my profile page). London lurkers don't be shy now.
  5. Hi guys, not sure if any of you are on Facebook or not. But we have quite a thriving and growing Freedomain Radio Group for those in Europe who like to discuss philosophy, economics and relationships. Also a lot of Meetups as well. You Russian chaps woudl be a very welcome addition if it interested you at all. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FDR.Europe/
  6. No one Russian that I know of from Denver, but there is a great Meetup group you might be interested in joining via Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FreedomainRadioDenver/ Or here if you're not into Facebook. http://www.meetup.com/Freedomain-Radio/Denver-CO/
  7. Hey guys, if you'd like to interact with some European and Polish fellows on facebook. A group has been created that you may like to join, if not already perhaps. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FDR.Europe/
  8. Battery power, so I just have a £5 Nokia phone that was all the rage back in 2000 which lasts a week without recharging. On a pay as you go plan and probably only spend around £40 annually on it That said, I enjoy smart technology now with a second hand Kindle Fire HD without 3 or 4g
  9. Hi Boh and welcome to the boards. There is a rather active European Facebbok group with 160 members dedicated to Freedomain Radio that you might like to join. A fairly active Scandinavian crowd there as well. All the best. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FDR.Europe/
  10. I share some of Tylers and Jacks reservations and concerns, but the way Dayna treated those children, given the regime they were under was pretty awesome.
  11. Yes I would agree with this. It's difficult not to see the average man pining after the ladies, even the alphas too. The reverence that many men give to females is often above and beyond what they actually deserve.
  12. Something useful in this regard. Men desire to be approved by women (perhaps their Mother even).. If he (the man) comes to terms with that, he has to consider himself as disposable compared to women.
  13. Well this is the evolutionary biology. Women that protect their eggs are always going to be of higher value to men.
  14. Hey I'm sorry JP that I clearly missed this post. I like everyone post our conversation would like to hear more. I have had the odd success myself too.
  15. Ah thanks Kevin.. And sorry OP, been a tad busy to respond to your PM. My seeding is still ongong all the same.
  16. Yes, I think it's fine to have those relationships which are generally ancillary to your personal life, such as work or neighbours. But to the personal relationships of family and friends, then it's entirely reasonable to question them. Your therapist is suggesting that you cannot make a choice about how you feel about those people regardless of their response to you and that potentially you are being 'unreasonable'.That said, why not invite your family into a session with your therapist. That way you might discover more about your family and them about you. But likewise, you may learn something more about your therapist too.
  17. No idea what "compartmentalising" relationships even means. Perhaps you should ask your therapist for clarity sakes.
  18. Ah, as J William perhaps suggests. The truly virtuous woman is a rare commodity and certainly one we should cherish upon meeting them.I hope I don't have to add any obvious caveats here for the trolls and white knights.
  19. Empowered till the end hey.. You go sister! To prison hopefully.
  20. Ha, it had to be the Guardian and it had to be Paul Mason that is to innovation as Laci Green is a sexpert..
  21. Yes I had been seeding them for some time now, but the downloading seemed to stop recently and as you say they no longer appear to be available on the podcast page anymore. If you PM me I will try to upload the torrent files that I have for you. Up to 2,500 split into 100 podcasts each torrent file or thereabouts as I recall. I have a fairly decent upload bandwidth speed (4 Mb's or so), so depending on your own bandwidth d/l speed they shouldn't take too long to download. That said there could still be other seeders out there too that just weren't aware that the downloads had stopped.
  22. For those of you unaware there is a Meetup Facebook group that you might like to join. We are set up to help people promote, find or organise their own events. We would love to promote this event to a larger audience if you so wished. The group to join is here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FDRMeetupEventGroup
  23. If people have issues with a written journal then you might like to do a voice journal to kick start it. I personally found it to be the most useful way to gather my thoughts at the beginning. I eventually became more proficient at writing a journal after some time. The great advantage of a voice journal is that you can listen back to it on headphones and it normally spawns new thoughts and feelings as you do so. At least it did for me. Hope that helps and all the best.
  24. Yeah my bad.. I'd probably be only useful in weeding of course, given my knowledge of farming.
  25. Farming eh?.. FDR Kibbutz.. hehe.. Welcome!
